Nestled near one of the largest mountains of the range is an area called the Hidden Lake, where all sorts of trees grow in the semi marshy ground, and surround the huge lake which is mostly made of snowmelt. The edges freeze in winter but the middle remains free, as it is constantly moving over the edge of a cliff in a large waterfall. The forests surrounding this area are thick with pines, oaks, and herbs, as whenever it snows, a lot of the ground remains free because it collects in the trees. Salmon travel to the lake in the spring to spawn, and wild horses appear all the time, creating trails which Twolegs sometimes walk too.
Owls hunt at night and are the most common threat; foxes and badgers are rare, and Twolegs cause more of a threat than anything.
Most common herbs are found here, along with a few of the rarer ones. Marshy ones grow the best, but a lot of them are eaten by small mammals which are great prey.
