Hollyheart looked over pointedly. "We've got plenty of catmint from Leafclan. That's a relief," she purred, glad that they were prepared for greencough at least. She layered the rosemary on Lunarfall's leg, and looked for some cobweb. "Do we have enough cobwebs? Or shall i enlist the help of the kits?" she mewed.

Redrose glanced up. "I think we do need to get more cob webs but i have enough for now," she said, hooking a few cob webs on her claw and passing them over.

Splatteredkit sat up in her nest, blinking the sleep away. The tortoiseshell kit's light amber gaze scanned the Nursery, her tail flicking as she does so.

Redrose glanced around. "I think i heard a cough from the nursery," she said. "I'll go make sure theyre okay. she padded over to the nursery and looked in. "Did you cough?" she asked Splatteredkit.

Splatteredkit looks towards Redrose, shaking her head. "No, it wasn't me..." she replied, glancing around to see if the cat who did would tell Redrose it was them.

"Hmm," Redrose mewed. "Maybe i imagined it . . oh well. bye Splatteredkit," she waved her tail as she stepped out of the nursery.

Icepelt began to cough heavily.

"Oh no," Redrose murmured she went over to the warrior. "Are you all right?" she asked.

"No youre not," Redrose said. "We're low on herbs and i dont want any other cats gatting sick, com eon," she nudged Icepelt to the Medicine den.

Icepelt coughed and went to the medicine den.She hoped the heat coming off her body wasnt too noticeable.

Redrose sniffed at her side. "Hmmi can sense the heat on you and since we have plenty i'll give you a litle catmint," she said. she glanced at the herb pile and muttered, "Its the only thing we have enough of," she grabbed two leaves and gave them to Iceplet.

Icepelt ate the catmint and sighed.

Smokekit sighed. "What's going on?" He thought outloud.

"Ok, you can go to the warriors den tonight i think," Redrose said. "Come back if you start coughing tonight,"

Redrose hesitated, about to tell her to stay, but then she let her leave. she turned back to her meager supply of herbs. 'tomorrow i'll look for more' she thought.

Icepelt left the medicine den and went to the warriors den to rest.

Smokekit began walking around the camp out of boredom when suddenly he stepped on a thorn. He began to try to get it out hoping he was hiding it from the sight of other cats.

Oakfrost padded around camp aimlessly. he almost crashed into Smokekit. "What happened to your paw?" he asked gruffly.

"Nothing it's perfectly fine." he said wincing when he set it down because the thorn went in farther making the paw start to bleed.

Smokekit shifted his paws taking weight off the paw with the thorn in it. When he took off the weight he couldn't help noticing that the place where the paw was before he moved it was red from blood.

Redrose slipped out of the medicine den. "What is it?" she asked.

Smokekit showed the medicine cat his paw that was cracked and bleeding from the thorn that was in it.

"Hmm," Redrose said. she licked around the edges of the thorn to looosen it up.

Smokekit winced but waited patently for Redrose to finish.

Redrose licked it one more time and then carefully pulled the thron free with her teeth. she spat it out n the ground.

Darkheart slowly got up trying not to wake up Flowershade. She opened her eyes."Where are you going?" She asked. "To find Snowstar." He answered. He walked out of the Med. Cats den and walked into the leaders den. He nudged her side waiting for her to wake up.
