Frostclan camp

Windfur coughed loudly again. "Hollyheart..." he called his sister in barely more than a whisper. The shecat appeared in the warriors den, and helped him up, and moved him to the medicine den. "Redrose, Cinderstorm, how much catmint do we have left?" she mewed urgently.

Stardust looked for her kin. When Lunarfall left for SoulClan, she never thought she'd be this lonely. "Nightshade?" she whispered. "Where are the kits?"

Shadowstrike groomed Graypaw's fur, and the apprentice tried to get away, but Shadowstrike held firm.

Redrose glanced at Windfur. "We have none. the only herbs we have is a little bit of marigold, a few juniper berries, and cob webs. the rouges destroyed the rest of them," She said.

Windfur collapsed into a nest, gasping for breath. Hollyheart just stood by in shock. "Juniper!" she managed to croak out.

Redrose jumped to the small pil of juniper that she had. she grabbed two berries and passed them to Hollyheart

"They... they got killed, all excluding Morningkit", Morningkit looked up at Stardust. "Hi."

Shadowheart slept.

Redrose looked for anything that would help Windfur's breathing.

Icepelt let out a series of heavy coughs.

Redrose shook her head. "We have nothing else that can help!" she said.

Stardust sighed. ""Well, that makes two of us, Morningkit." she mewed, licking her younger sister's ear gently.

She nuzzled into her sisters fur: "I won't leave you alone, never."

Nightshade looked at his two grils, proudly.

Shadowheart wrote:Redrose shook her head. "We have nothing else that can help!" she said.

Flowerpaw who was still in the den with Icepelt said "I could try to find some more herbs." She offered

Redrose looked over at the apprentice. "Thank you Flowerpaw, but with this wind and coldness, the herbs wouldnt have survived even if they were growing." she said, sighing

Flowerpaw nodded and sighed.

Icepelt coughed heavily and panted

Redrose looked at the ground. 'i cant believe this is happening' she thought

Hollyheart chewed the herbs, then trickled the juice into Windfur's mouth. Her littermate seemed to start breathing easier. He fell asleep, even though he was coughing every few seconds.

Redrose closed her eyes and sighed.

Shadowheart blinked awake and yawned.

Iceheart was already up, at the fresh-kill pile

Shadowheart walked out of the warriors den and glanced around camp.

Darkheart sat at the edge of the camp. Flowershade layed in her nest. Darkheart walked out of camp.

Shadowheart went over to the fresh kill pile

Redrose woke up and yawned

It was Crowkit and Stripedkit`s first day with there eyes open. Shatteredkit, Blackkit, and Vinekit were playing in the clearing. Crowkit and Stripedkit looked at each other. Crowkit nodded. They were thinking the same thing. "Don`t call it a come back!" Stripedkit squeaked. He said slowly walking up to the other kits. Crowkit did the same. "Yeah!" Crowkit mewed. "We`ve been here for days. Pushin` our way threw mouse-brains. We are going to take this itty-bitty forest by storm. And we`re just gettin` warm." Stripedkit mewed. They laughed at each other. Blackkit and Shatteredkit were covered in snowflakes. They walked up to them. "We`re bringing fluffy back." They squeaked shaking of the flakes. "Yeah." Vinekit mewed. "And other kits don`t know how to ack." Shatteredkit mewed. "Yeah." Blackkit squeaked. "Take it to the chorus." Vinekit said as he padded threw the four kits. They stared at each other. They laughed.

Redrose stepped out of her den and looked around. she purred amusedly at the kits.

Shadowheart shook her fur out again.

Shatteredkit was the first to stop laughing. "I havn`t seen you around before." Shatteredkit said. Vinekit sat down and watched his sisters. Crowkit looked at her. "We have been in the nursery." Crowkit answered. "How could you not notice me?" Stripedkit said. "Everyone knows Im the best kit." Stripedkit sneered. "Don`t mind him." Crowkit mewed. "Its okay." Blackkit mewed.

Oakfrost stepped out of the warriors den, limping slightly. he padded over to Redrose. "Can i have another cob web?" he asked his sister as his wound started to bleed. Redrose nodded and got a cob web from the medcine den. she draped it across his wound. "Dont leave camp until i say you can," she told him. Oakfrost nodded.

Vinekit went over to Blizzardfeather. Shatteredkit leaped onto Crowkit pinning him down. Blackkit launched at Stripedkit and he launched at her. They spun in the air. Crowkit had seen some of the ways that the warriors fought at the rouge attack. He went limp. Shatteredkit put her gaurd down. He leaped up explosivly. Shatteredkit squeals. Crowkit pinned her down. Stripedkit and Blackkit hit the ground. Shatteredkit kicked Crowkit off her. She got up. "Redrose!" She squealed running over to Redrose. The other three kits ran over too. They had little scratches from were they had practice fighting.

ic: Stardust yawned as she stretched her legs outside the warriors den. "Morningkit?" she mewed, looking for her kin.

ic: Redrose glanced over at the kits. "Whats wrong?" she asked. she saw their scratches and sniffed at them. "I think youll be all right," she said to them. "do any of you want cob webs?"

OAkfrost sighed and laid down outside the warriors den

Shadowheart picked a small bird from the fresh kill pile and she nibbled on it.

"Crowkit hurt me!" Shatteredkit squealed. Crowkit mewed back. "She hurt me first!" Crowkit squeaked. Stripedkit rolled his eyes. Blackkit licked at one of her scratches.

Vinekit looked up at Blizzardfeather. "Flowershade." Blizzardfeather said. "Yes?" Flowershade asked. "Your kits will become very strong warriors." Blizzardfeather mewed. "Thanks." Flowershade moewed. "Your kits seem strong too." She mewed. "If only Tawnykit had lived Vinekit would have someone to play with." Flowershade mewed.

"Stop!" Redrose said. "You were playing. it was just an accident. do you want a cob web?" she asked again/

"I'm here!", Morningkit padded out of the Warriorsden, where she had slept next to Nightshade and Jumped at her sister.

"Yes Redrose." Shatteredkit mewed sitting down. She wrapped her tail around her paws. Crowkit nodded. Blackkit looked at Redrose. "Yes please." She muttered. Stripedkit looked at the others. He didn`t have any scratches.

Redrose glanced sternly at the kits before dissapearing into the medicine den and returing with two cob webs. she put one on Shatteredkit's scratch, and one on Crowkit's scratch.

Oakfrost licked a scratch on his side.

"Thank you." Shatteredkit said. "Thanks." Crowkit muttered. Stripedkit padded back to Flowershade. Blackkit stood next to her sister.

Redrose shook her head at the kits, smiling a bit.

Shadowheart finished the bird and glanced around the camp.

Blackkit and Shatteredkit ran over to Blizardfeather. Crowkit noticed Shadowheart. He padded over to her. "Hi." Crowkit mewed.

"Hi Crowkit." Shadowheart said to the kit. "How are you doing today?"

"Good." He answered. "How come you arn`t really hanging out with anyone?" He asked.

Shadowheart shrugged. "I dont know," she said. "Im just waiting for a patrol to join," she looked around the camp as she spoke.

Darkheart walked into the camp. He dropped some prey in the pile. He walked over to Crowkit. "Hey Crowkit." Darkheart said. "Hi daddy." Crowkit mewed. "Hi Shadowheart." Darkheart said kindly.

Shadowheart forced her fur to stay flat. "good morning Darkheart," she said, not wanting Crowkit to suspect anything.

"Morning." Darkheart said nodding. "Go back to momma." Darkheart said to Crowkit. Crowkit ran back to Flowershade. "So where is Iceheart?" Darkheart mewed to Shadowheart.

"I think he went out on patrol." She said. "Why do you want to know?"

Darkheart looked at her. "No reason." He moewed. "How has your leg been? Is it any better?" He said trying to earn her trust.

Shadowheart narrowed her eyes. "Yes it is better actually," she said. 'no thanks to you' is what she wanted to say but didnt.

"Listen Shadowheart. I never tryed to make you not trust me." He began. "But I never ment to hurt her like that." "Im sorry." He mewed.

Shadowheart barred her teeth slightly. "It doesnt change what happened." she said, flicking her tail irritably. she scratched deep furrows in the ground with her extra long claws.

Darkheart sighed slightly. He walked twards the exit of the camp. "Still, almost nobody accept me in the clan." he mummerd. He turned to the nursery. "Flowershade. Make sure nobody hurts the kits." He said then turned out of the nursery before she could answer. He exited the camp.

Shadowheart twitched her ears in curiosity. "What was that about?" she murmured to herself. she silently followed Darkheart out of camp.

Redrose sat outside her den.

Oakfrost sighed and put his head on his paws.
