WaterClan's Deep Swamp

The 'Deep Swamp' is the main place where the cats go to fish. It looks like any ordinary swamp to any other clans, but the Waterclan cats have a special sence of deep water. It was found by accident, the first leader of Leafclan -Leafstar- falling into it when the siblings were exploring the territories for the first time.

only rp here if you are near or fishing in the deep swamp.

Softstar and Rockshade padded to the swamp purring. "Okay lets see who can get more fish this time" Softstar purred to her mate. Last time she won. "I will win this time" he purred and dived into the water with his mate close behind. They both got a fish.

Softstar and Rockshade picked up the fish they got and made there way back to camp.

Softstar padded into the swamp quickly. She needed something to do while waiting for her mate Rockshade. She quickly dived into the water.

Softstar had two pretty big fish to take back to camp. She picked them up and headed back. Should I go help a mentor with training? she asked herself.

Frostwater walked into Waterclan's deep swamp. She scented the air, and it seemed that her friend, Softstar had been here. She was such a great leader, and she hoped she would rule for a long time.
She waited by the water, and looked down. She was hoping to see the silver flash of a fish.
After some time of fishing, she had caught 2 fish and was content with her prey and headed back to camp.

Softstar and Crowpaw padded in with NIghtstorM. Softstar padded over to the water. She thoght to herself, Crowpaw needs to be a warrior soon... I should test him. She mewed to her son "Okay, Crowpaw get as many fish as you can." Crowpaw nodded and looked at the water. A fish moved and he scooped it out fast. He purred biting it.

Nightstorm was proud, seeing his apprentice getting along so well. "I'll be around", he said going to another palce, close to their. Sitting down and waiting for a fish. As he saw it he grabbed it out and killed it.

Crowpaw mewed "This is a better place to fish!" Softstar nodded "That is why we came here. Most mentors teach apprentinces here." She got a fish out of the water. She killed it as Crowpaw scooped out a big fish. He tried to kill it. He held it down and bit it a few times. It finaly died.

Spottedcloud decided she would hunt for a while. Since she was out she might as well do something that will help her clan. So, she began sniffing the air for prey.

Spottedcloud spotted a squirrel and began stalking it. Just at the right time, she pounced on top of it and killed it swiftly.

Crowpaw got out a tiny fish. He sighed. Softstar purred. "Want to practice fighting for a little?" Softstar asked. Crowpaw nodded "Sure." he padded away from the swamp. Softstar fallowed. Crowpaw got down ready to jump.

(Also... I just got bored with fishing XD)

ic: Crowpaw left at Softstar. Softstar ducked and Crowpaw landed easily. He narrowed his eyes. He batted at Softstar a few times. Softstar tried to duck and nip his leg but, got hit in the head with a paw strike. She jumped for her son and pinned him down. Crowpaw used belly rake. It did not work.

Nighstorm shortly watched the fight and then turned to the fishes. There was another one, ready to grab and kill and so he did.

ooc: After about one month as an aprrentice then they can become a warrior. :3 It has been about a month right?

ic: Crowpaw went limp. Softstar let go. Crowpaw pushed as hard as he could and Softstar whent flying. She landed easily. Crowpaw ran over planing to bite her back foot but, Softstar shifted all her weight to her forpaws. She kicked her hindlegs out behind her and kicked Crowpaw softly.

Crowpaw fell back. He was not going to give up though. He left though the air and landed on Softstar's back. He softly bit her ears.

Softstar padded into the Deep Swamp. She looked down at the water. She stayed still, waiting for a fish. "Remember, Leaf-Bare is getting close. We need a lot of prey." she mewed. Crowpelt nodded and dived right into the water. He swam around, looking for a fish.

Spottedcloud saw a fish and dived underwater. She killed it with a swift blow and threw it on the shore. Then she dived underwater in search for more. Just then she accidentally inhaled water in her mouth and came up and began coughing like crazy.

Kindpaw had collected some herbs into her plasticbag and now went on in the deep swamp. Here there more most of the needed herbs, so she was eager to find as much, as she could carry. With this bag as a help, it would be verymuch, allthought it raind like crazy. She would have to dry them when it stopped raining. She collected everything she could finde and then made herself return to camp.

Leopardspots padded into the deep swamp to look for some frogs when she heard a cry of agony. She raced over and found a pale ginger she cat, bleeding heavily on the shoulder, trying to swim in a warm bit where the ice had melted.

Nettlefur laughed and said "This is the deep swamp. Normally cats only come here to fish but since I'm taking you around the territory we had to at least stop by here."

Nightstorm headded into the swamp. It sure was a good idea that Ivylight had. There seemed to be a lot of prey around.

Ivylight followed not far behind the deputy. She looked up at the towering cypress trees and saw the branches were teeming with life. Hopefully the same went for the undergrowth as well. Ivylight put her nose to work, sorting through the thick scents of the marsh until she found what she was looking for: a well-rounded water vole nibbling on a few seeds. She fell into a stalking position, refusing to let this prey escape.
