Shimmerstorm nudged Rainkit closer to her flank, and the kit barely stirred in her sleep.
Nightkit burst through the entrance. "How old are they? When can they play?" he demanded, and Specklewing almost instantly picked the tom up. He let out a squeak of annoyance, and Specklewing scolded him gently. "Shimmerstorm needs to rest!" Specklewing plopped the kit down outside, and Nightkit went to torment a poor warrior.
"Sorry," Specklewing mewed to Shimmerstorm, and the other queen laughed. "No problem."
"Have you seen Fernkit?"
"Not in here. I'll let you know if I see her."

Meanwhile, Fernkit was hiding up a tree near the camp's borders.

Flowerkit layed next to Shimmersong. She felt almost as hot as her mother did.

Rainkit kicked Lionkit by accident.

Flowerkit sighed and stood up weakly. She headed towards her mother. Everything seemed to be spinning and Flowerkit was dizzy. Before she realized it, Flowerkit stumbled and fell on the groudn of the nursery

Shimmerstorm called out for her friend. "Specklewing!"
The other shecat poked her head in the nursery. "Yes?"
"Could you take Flowerkit to the medicine den with Feathermask? They're both pretty feverish." Shimmerstorm mewed.
Specklewing nodded. "Come on, little one." she mewed, picking up Flowerkit gently by the scruff and carrying her to the medicine den.
