The Talltrees

the Tribe of Rocky Cliffs' part of the forest is the one with the taller trees, great for bird hunting and forest animal hunting hence the name "Talltrees". Though this only makes up about a quarter of the Tribe's territory, it is the part with the most prey. Over the seasons, the Tribe of Rocky Cliffs has slowly gained more and more of the forest in its control, to the annoyance of the Tribe of White Waters.
Many herbs can be found here, but not many mosses as the trees absorb most of the moistures and leave only small brackens and such on the forest floor.

Whisper padded here, his ears pricked and mouth open for scents for him to smell for prey.

Several wolves padded into the forest. Unlike the wolves from the other side of the mountain, they were dishonorable, scarred, and violent. The wolf in lead, a grey with only half a tail and a nearly furless leg, sniffed the air. A redish-gold she-wolf with only one eye padded up behind him. "Thunder's Roar, this is beyond even our land. Are you sure-" The grey wolf snapped at him angrily, pulling off part of her ear. "Silence, Dawn, I smell cat..."

Whisper padded along the treeline, his shadow blending in with the ones from the trees, and he breathed a sigh of relief to get out of the sunlight.

Rock was out of the cave checking out the borders. He sniffed something strange and stayed behind the trees. Rock's light brown fur helped him blend in with the tree trunks.

Wing Shadow's head turned swiftly in each direction. "Prey soon." he muttered to the wolves following him.

ic: Whisper's ears pricked, and he scented bird. But he jumped as he noticed the loud roar of water, brushing against a bush and sending the bird flying, sounding an alarm call.

Wing Shadow signaled the pack to wait. He began going towards the cat scent, growling viciously.

Wing Shadow lunged at the bushes, aiming to grab the cat. After moons of hunger, his pack would finally eat a full meal. The entire cat pack will be resting in our stomachs soon. He thought giddily

"NO!" Mouse screamed as she padded into Talltrees and saw Rock and a wolf. She lunged in front of Rock,and took a nasty bite to her side. She fell with a thump, but leaped up, trying to ignore the pain in her side.

Rock hissed as the wolf leaped at him. He clawed deeply at the wolf's fur.

Mouse, slightly leaning to one side, clawed at Wing Shadow's fur, and bit down hard on his nose.

A pure black female wolf lunged out the bushes at Rock. She bit her jaws on Rock's body holding him in her jaws ready to give the killing bite.

Rock fought from under the wolf's teeth, trying to scramble free from the wolf's weight.

IC: Wing Shadow chuckled a bit at the sight of the cat. "Well, well, well. Looks like we caught a little kitten who strayed from their mother." he woofed. He didn't know if it could understand him or not, but he hoped he was scaring it a bit. He liked scaring prey before he killed it, the death seemed less heroic.

Mouse hissed. She tried to tear the wolf's ear but failed. A sudden pain in her side made her drop, and she hit the ground with a thump. Breathing shallowly, blood pouring from the gash in her side, she tried to get up but failed. Gasping for air, she lay there, stunned. She needed to get up, but she couldn't! She didn't have the strength.

Rock went over, picked up his tribe mate and took off towards the opposite way of the cave in case the wolves decided to come after him he would be leading them away from the cave. After a while, he turned back towards the cave. He went home a different way then when he had come here in the first place. He still carried his tribe mate in his jaws, despite the fact that he was injured himself with a deep bite to the neck and some other scratches on his flank.

Mouse struggled and caused Rock to stop. "I-I think I'm OK." She staggered up. "Thanks" She started walking back, and stumbled. She kept walking, blood still covering the right half of her flank.
