Lavenderbreeze narrowed her eyes, blue orbs filled with hatred for the tom, however she held herself back. She didn't want to start something in the middle of a warrior ceremony.

Ashmark stopped and turned around, but did not return to the meeting circle. His tail was still lashing, clearly unhappy about the sudden call back.

Lavenderbreeze smirked and suddenly stepped forward. "Wonder if Soulclan will accept the ceremony, since it was performed by a fake leader." she purred, lashing her tail from side to side.

"Well, if you insist." she stepped up to stand right in front of him. "You, me, and the rest of this clan know that you shouldn't be leader. Coalstar would've never chosen you as a deputy and I know Wildheart wouldn't have. I'm sure Soulclan knows this and hope that they didn't accept you." she snarled.

Viperstar just calmly mewed "I'm sorry but your wrong. SOulclan sent a snake down and i killed it. It was proof that i was chosen." as he lept down to face the she-cat.

Viperstar a bit stucken with surprise looked at Lavenderbreeze with a deadly cold gaze as blood oozed from his nose. He then unsteathed his claws and lunged at her pinning her down.

Featherwhisker whimpered slightly, his ears pinned back. He felt like yowling at Viperstar to stop, but knew that would just get him killed as well.

Streamdapple launched herself at Oceanbreeze, knocking the medicine cat to the ground to shut her up. "Viperstar is the leader, and he gives traitors what's coming for them," she growled, the paw on Oceanbreeze's throat ever so slightly unsheathing her claws.

Oceanbreeze growled. "And I'm your medicine cat Streamdapple! I just don't want unnecessary wounds to take care of." she explained, her eyes sincere. Even though she hated Lavenderbreeze, she didn't want the she-cat killed by Viperstar.

Viperstar stepped off of the corpse of Lavenderbreeze and flicked some blood off his paw. "There will be no vigil for her. Bury her now please Saphiretail and Brownwhsiker." he mewed to the elders.

Oceanbreeze blinked in surprise and rushed forward, bending over the she-cat. She quickly checked for any sign of life then looked at Viperstar, her aqua eyes fearful and wide. "This is crazy! Soulclan why did you allow this to happen?!" she shouted in her mind.

"Featherwhisker, come on." Oceanbreeze said, turning to face him. Her heart lay heavy in her chest and it felt like she couldn't get enough air. She couldn't believe the Lavenderbreeze was dead and Viperstar couldn't show any type of remorse!

Though Ashmark was usually the insensitive cat, he could understand the medicine cat's anguish. Being kept from SoulClan's ceremonies or not, he knew he had to follow Viperstar. He crouched not too far away from the dead cat, watching the body with cold, glazed eyes.

Ic: "I'm going to unite the clans! No more battles, hatred, death, I will deal with none of it! But if no cat is loyal they will DIE or be scarred! So if you see any cat dying or wounded, you don't help. I'm tired of your medicine cat kindness, your job is to help the clan! Only help those loyal to me!" Viperstar spat and hissed at the medicine cats claws unstheathed, breath hard and fur bristling.

"You can't be serious Viperstar!" she hissed. "I mean no disrespect, honestly I don't, however there are separate clans for a reason. We follow the warrior code because that's what we were brought up to do. That includes helping the injured, whether they're from another clan or not." she explained, desperately trying to make the tom see reason.

If we were one clan everything would be in peace, and why help those who have done nothing for us? Maybe even hate or attack us? Actually, it is settled. Cloudclan will not follow the Warrior Code again." he hissed.
