FrostClan Mountain

FrostClan's mountain makes up most of their territory, and the tip is mostly covered in snow almost the whole year as it is the highest point of all the territories. The lower portions of it, where FrostClan cats sometimes come to hunt, is the area covered in smaller bushes and trees like pines, where less undergrowth grows. The air is thin however, and cats are told not to stay for too long otherwise the cold will make them fall asleep and not wake up again.

flamepaw ran in, then turned waiting for his mentor, he breathed heavily from running and hoped they left soon. I cant breath!! the airs so thin!! he thought.

IC: Cloudmist caught up with Flamepaw at the bottom. "Flamepaw, you shouldn't run ahead like that, an eagle could swoop down and take you away!" She meowed, trying not to sound harsh. "Anyways, this is the mountain. We don't hunt here and their are no herbs, but cats come here for fun or to feel closer to Souclan." She meowed, angling her ears to a flat part of the mountain. "That's the only safe part to go to, holds up to six cats, but your not aloud their without me."

Cloudmist let out a breath of relief, "Great, Let's move on." She meowed, angling her ears to the next direction to go to.

Embercloud started to bound up the slope of the mountain, before sitting on a rock. He licked his paw and smiled down at Starlingnose. "Come on Squirrel brain."

Embercloud laughed softly. "Ive learnt how to navigate using one eye. ANyway, how do we find that hawk."

Starlingnose leaped up to the rock EMbercloud was on. "We have to wait until they see us. Then they will think we are prey. They will swoop down and then we attack." She said

Embercloud was glad he was covered in fur. He was blushing. He looked at the sun. "we have a good couple hours of sunlight left. The Hawk should be around soon."

Starlingnose purred and turned to look behind her. A hawk was coming straight for them. "Embercloud! Watch out!" SHe shouted.

EMbercloud jumped to his left as the hawk swooped down. "Ill go one way and you go the other!"

Starlingnose, being the stubborn cat she was, leaped onto the hawk. Her weight brought it down and the hawk fiercely clawed at her.

Embercloud jumped and grabbed the hawks leg. Together, with their combined weight, the hawk fell to the floor. He held it down.

Starlingnose sighed. She stepped back, a paw on the hawk to hold it down. "Why don't you?" She suggested.

Embercloud looked at the hawk. "I dont think we should kill it. We caught a hawk. But who would eat hawk. We dont really eat birds in camp."

"But it's leaf-bare!" Starlingnose said. She sighed. "It's Lef-bare, we are in the middle of a war, and we are starving." She said. "We need this." Her paw rained up, ready to kill the hawk.

Embercloud nodded. "I wonder what it would be like to see out of our territory." He swallowed. he wanted to tell Starling how he felt about her but he didnt have the courage.

Starlingnose shivered. "Outside of our territiory is a horrible place. Lightningnose said it's ruled my badgers and foxes and other creatures." Starlingnose shivered.

Embercloud closed his eyes. He didnt know what he wanted to do. "When I was an apprentice, All I wanted was to be a Warrior. When I was a kit All i Wanted to be was a Apprentice. Now That Im a Warrior, I dont know what I want."

"We should be heading back to camp." Starlingnose said. She kicked the hawk she caught into a nearby bush. "Nobody would of eaten it anyways." She said as she started back to camp.
