Sand and Trout padded over to Thrush. "We're going out hunting, will you be safe on your own?" she mewed. Thrush nodded. "Good." purred Trout, and licked his head. Sand and Trout padded out of camp.

IC: Sand stopped as she heard a rustle. She whipped around. Two foxes came out behind her, snarling angrily. Trout saw them too and rushed at them. THe fox grabbed him and flung him into a tree. Sand snarled and leaped at the fox, tearing its eye. The fox howled and tried to fling her off. The other one grabbed and around the neck and shook her hard.

Fern stumbled into her and Summer's den, yawning a lot. Summer placed the kit in the nest, and for once Fern fell asleep straight away.

Flame raced around panicking. "Acorn! Can you hear me?" she yowled down into the hole, and was only met with the stench of dirt and decay. A low groan sounded, and Flame was relieved. "I'll get you out of there!" Flame promised her housemate.

Flame raced to a nearby tree, and yanked a long vine off the tallest branch. "Acorn?" she mewed, racing back to the hole. Another low groan sounded, and FLame dropped an end of the vine into the hole. "Grab on!"

Summer settled into her nest, and yawned as she watched Fern play with the little leaves. "Come on, little one. Time for bed." The queen mewed. Fern opened her mouth to protest, but only a large yawn emerged.
