Rubyblaze padded into the apprentice's den and sat beside Sandpaw. "Its okay, little one." she soothed her kit, licking the fur between her ears with long strokes.

Mintfrost slept lightly, her claws slightly unsheathed in her sleep.

Brackenstorm padded to the leader's den, taking a deep breath, bracing himself and rustling the leaves at the entrance. "Amberstar?"

Brackenstorm frowned, looking at the leader's den.
Amberstar got up, stretching and padding outside. "Silverthorn, i'm going to ask you to say what you say next with caution." he mewed, sitting down and looking at the group of cats.

Amberstar glanced at his medicine cat, then turned to Shadetail. "So you've found yourself a CloudClan mate?" he mewed emotionlessly.
Bubblepaw looked up.

Creekfeather growled a little, and Larkflight whispered "What's wrong?"
The tom shook his head. "My mother Runningblaze was half FireClan. Her father Oceanbreeze and her mother Dawnpool, of FireClan, were mates. Runningblaze almost died coming here."
Larkflight licked his ear. "Its okay."
Creekfeather sighed. "Amberstar kicked Oceanbreeze and Runningblaze out."

ic: The leader narrowed his eyes. "No, its fine. Brackenstorm," he mewed, and the deputy looked up and padded over.
"Yes, Amberstar?"
"Say hello to your apprentice. Shadetail, you'll be answering to all the warriors now. You will stay in the warriors den to sleep, but you must ask permission before eating, and will help with apprentice duties."
