Limping into the camp entrance, Mintfrost dropped Leaftail's body. "Fox attack!" she managed to croak, then collapsed beside it, her breathing quick.
Rubyblaze raced over. "Ohno ohno ohno!" she sobbed, looking at her mate's body. "You cant leave!"
Bubblepaw padded over. "What's going on?" he mewed, confused.
Brackenstorm's head whipped around. I bet it was Mintfrost! he thought darkly, then padded over to the scene. "Medicine cats!" he called.

ooc: btw there is no way to prove that Mintfrost set him up.

Rubystripe jumped at the sudden yowl and dashed out. "What happened!?" she demanded, nudging Rubyblaze out of the way gently so she could see Leaftail.

Mintfrost lifted her head up slightly. "Fox attack," she managed to croak, a violent cough escaping from her lungs.

Rubystripe glanced up at her, looking over her wounds before looking back at Leaftail with a shake of her head. "There's nothing I can do about him..." she murmured before getting to work on Mintfrost.

Bluekit looked out of the medicine den and called "What's happened?"

Rippleflame came back into camp. He just had a scratch on his side. It was medium deep and bleeding medium heavily.

Rubystripe looked up at the tom. "One second Rippleflame." she mewed quickly before finishing with Mintfrost's wounds and going to help him.

Appleflower padded to Bluekit. "Apparently Mintfrost and Leaftail were attacked by a fox..." she said, staring at Mintfrost.

Mintfrost growled slightly at Appleflower. "Ask Rubystripe yourself, of course these are fox wounds!" she mewed, slightly angry and in pain.

AMberstar had frozen for a moment. he glanced at Brackenstorm. Mintfrost didnt seem to be wounded that badly....

Sandpaw was half hidden behind Rubyblaze. she couldn't control her whimpers

Appleflower growled at her. "I didn't say they weren't!" she snapped.

Rubystripe looked up. "Appleflower. Help bring Leaftail's body to the middle of the clearing. Mintfrost, be quiet." she said evenly, continuing to help Rippleflame.

Appleflower rolled her eyes before letting them fall on Leaftail as she carefully picked up his body.

"I was attacked on my way back from hunting." Rippleflame said to Rubystripe. "I'm not as bad as the others you should save the herbs and stuff for those who were worse than me.

Mintfrost's gaze softened a little. "Yes, of course dear." she mewed softly, lying through her teeth.
Rubyblaze sobbed a little, tucking Sandpaw and Bubblepaw closer to her.

Brackenstorm padded over to Amberstar. "I need a border patrol to go out..." he mentioned quietly.

Appleflower glared at Mintfrost before looking at Brackenstorm.

Thrushfeather nodded. "I'll go Brackenstorm."

Thrushfeather smiled gently at her. "Don't worry." he said. "Nothing's going to happen while we're gone."

Amberstar got to his paws and padded over to Mintfrost. "You shouold stay in camp for a few days. To rest," He said, trying to keep his tone neutral, but he didnt beilive her at all.
