"Catmint, the best herb for whitecough and greencough. It soothes the throat and helps with chest pains. The sweet taste and smell make it easy to give to kits." Rubystripe explained with a small nod.

Rubystripe smiled soothingly and put the catmint away. "Don't worry if you can't remember right away, you're young, meaning you have plenty of time to learn them." she mewed quietly. "What herb do you want to learn about next?"

"Yarrow is the best way to make a cat sick. Before you ask why it's actually a good thing. If a kit or an elder has eaten... deathberries lets say. If we can get them to eat Yarrow fast enough, they can rid their body of the poison that the berries caused."

"Deathberries are very deadly." she mewed, turning and gently pulling out a folded leaf. She unwrapped it, showing a couple of bright red berries. "They can kill kits with just one and even warriors."

"Well there are Holly berries that are not as bad as Deathberries but still dangerous... Foxglove seeds that are double edged... They can help the heart but can also cause it to fail and are easily mistaken as poppyseeds. Oh there's also Nightshade which is very deadly." she mewed, trying to remember the poisonous herbs.

07.04.2013 ooc: OMG! where we camp there is nightshade! My brothrr almoust ate one!!! I smakedit out of his hand and saved his life. My mom was soo happy that i knew herbs as.well as she does.

"There was a loner or a rouge in the old Twolegplace... Twigpaw saw him and Appleflower went after him. Apparently they attacked each other though I don't know who won..." he said worriedly.
