Autumnstorm yawned and woke up, padding out of the den to find the Clan gathered. He sat next to Lakeshine, who smiled.

My other cats gather.

Creekstar purred at the gathered cats. "It has come to my attention that two apprentices are in need of becoming warriors. Lakeshine and Autumnstorm, as mentors of the two cats, can you say that they have finished their training?"
The siblings nodded.
Creekstar dipped his head. "Then Sagepaw and Tigerpaw, can you please step forward?"

They have trained hard to follow the way of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Sagepaw, Tigerpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code for as long as you may live?"

Sagewhisker and Tigerheart dip their heads respectfully to their leader and purr happily.

Sandflight was conscious now but she was sleeping. She wasn't really even in her nest. She was closer to the center of the medicine den. Her fur tasted all salty from being covered with sweat
