ic: Silverbird sat outside the nursery, watching her tiny kits play in the camp's clearing. Ternkit, her ginger black and gray patched tail wiggling, stalked up and pounced on to Bramblekit.

OOC: We were pretending Creekstar told the camp about the monsters at the meadow in the last meeting because you forgot to mention it. XD

Mintpath finally couldn't take it anymore. He had to tell Creekstar about the prophecy mentioned at the Mooncave. "I'm telling Creekstar. Now." He gritted his teeth, speaking to whoever was in the medicine den with him (I forgot who was actually speaking to him before) and left to visit Creekstar's den.

Mintpath followed Creekstar inside. "Something important happened at the Mooncave. I don't know if it has anything to do with us..." A slight pause. Mintpath was suddenly wary in case Creekstar would be upset with him for bringing another clan's matters to his attention. "But Featherwhisker had a prophecy. One he thought important enough to tell all of the forest's cats - you know how prophecies are supposed to stay within clans..." He sat and closed his eyes as he remembered Featherwhisker's words. "The snake leads the clouds to their demise while the leaves stir and rustle. Sun will meet Moon, and blood will shed blood before dusk rises like dawn."

Creekstar settled into his best, tucking his paws under him to keep warm. "That sounds like an interesting prophecy..." he murmured, thinking. "Do you have any clue what it's supposed to mean?"

"It is CloudClan's prophecy, so it has to have something to do with them..." Mintpath flicked his tail. "I can only imagine the snake refers to Viperstar and he is leading CloudClan to his doom...and after what he said at the last gathering, I can infer that perhaps LeafClan took his offer."

Creekstar nodded. "Right. Does it specifically involve BrightClan?" he asked, just as Thrushflight pushed his way into the den.
"Sorry," the other medicine cat blushed. "I thought that you might have needed me, Mintpath."

Mintpath gave the other medicine cat a polite nod and then looked back at Creekstar. "No. But if Featherwhisker was concerned enough about the prophecy and Viperstar to tell all cats CloudClan's business, I believe we should take heed of this warning."

Creekstar nodded. "Warning heeded. Did they say anything about the rabbits disappearing, or the twolegs?"
"Rabbits disappearing?" Thrushflight frowned. "They didn't mention either, sorry."
Creekstar shrugged a little. "That's okay. Hunting patrols are reporting having to go further and further out into the territory to find prey, as well as more twoleg activity."

Eagleclaw laid near the camp entrance, his eyes never drifting far from it. Though a generally laid back and reserved, he always made a point to be alert, even in camp. He licked some dried blood from his mean from between his claws.

Mintpath grumpily sorted herbs. The sudden loss of some of his denmates had taken it's toll on him and did nothing to lighten his already cranky personality.

ic: Dawnsky noticed Moonsong sitting alone and decided to come and join, since she had nothing else to do. She meowed gratefully to her and nudged a starling towards her. It was half-eaten by herself, but Dawnsky thought that Moonsong didn't seem to care.

Gorsecloud was curled up in his nest in the elders' den, his tail over his nose. He kept itching his nose where his tail was tickling it, remaining asleep.

Iceheart yawned and paced in steady circles around camp. He mumbled to himself, every once in a while crossing his eyes and shuffling his paws like a maniac. His bright white fur was ruffled and looked ungroomed. It seemed as if Iceheart hadn't cleaned it in moons. But Iceheart didn't care and kept on pacing mysteriously in circles around camp. He squinted and kept his eyes that way, watching the birds fluttering above his nose in the trees and singing beautiful songs and chirping away. He chuckled for once, grinning ear-to-ear.

Ivorystar glanced up at the skies and, gulping, she leapt up on to the Startree. "Every cat old enough to run rabbits on the Moors please be gathered!" she called, probably a little quieter than she meant to. Even after a full moon as Clan leader she still hated speaking in front of the Clans. At least the Gathering's tomorrow... she thought and shuddered slightly.

Petalbreeze nudged her mate softly, rolling her eyes when she noticed he was asleep. "Gorsecloud, there's a gathering," she purred in his ear, tickling the other ear with her tail. "The new deputies are being chosen."

Myrtlerose looked up from her rabbit, a little surprised that the announcement for deputy was happening so soon, but not really minding as she finished the last scrap and gathered.

"Wha?" Gorsecloud blinked, awake instantly. "How new are these deputies?" He narrowed his eyes. "New deputies, new cats, new things, new clan, new things, new grass, new badgers!" He shot out of the den, but once he was outside, he quickly sat down and licked his paw.

Lionflame glanced up, on his way to the medicine den to ask about an ache in his side. He spun around and headed to the rest of the clan. He made a mental note to go to the medicine den later.

Petalbreeze scoffed and followed Gorsecloud, settling herself in the sunlight beside her mate.

Ivorystar purred lightly to herself, before flicking her tail for silence and standing. "As you all know, the Clan is without deputies. Up until now, I hadn't known who to choose, but SoulClan came to me in a dream earlier and I now know who is worthy. Eagleclaw," she smiled down at her brother. "Though you are my littermate SoulClan has expressed an interest in your talents. You will be first deputy." She glanced back up at the crowd. "Lionflame, you will serve under Eagleclaw as second deputy."

Lionflame took a moment to react, and when he did, a look of shock was on his face. He hurriedly lifted his head up, not completely in control of his actions. He was proud, but his pride was hidden by his surprise.

Nightbreeze cheered, delighted that her brother had been chosen, because it was never something that she would want to do.

Gorsecloud purred happily, but it was hard to tell whether it was simply random, or because of the new deputies...

Moonsong cheered happily for both Eagleclaw and Lionflame who were now both deputies of BrightClan. She knew that they would do their best to do their duties as deputies for the clan.
