Shadekit watched Flowerkit from the nursery entrance with a sigh, turning back to see the other napping bodies. He looked at Spottedkit with wide eyes and a smile, approaching her. He prodded her with his wet black nose.
"Hello!" he mewed awkwardly.

Seashell noticed Aquatail sitting alone. She shuffled over awkwardly and dipped her head.
"Hello!" she whispered.

"Oh, okay." Seashell meowed nervously, even though she detected the shy smell coming off of Aquatail.
"So... what do you think the meeting is about this time?" she asked, quickly changing the subject.

Sandstar sat down on the Fallentree and announced, "Today we have quite a few kits today, that have reached the age of 6 moons," looking at Spottedkit, Ebonykit, Amberkit, Flowerkit and Shadekit.

Shadekit felt Sandstar's gaze rest on him when he called out the names of new apprentices. He was quite surprised. He never keeps track of his age!
"What?" he whispered, shocked.
"We're going to be apprentices!" he tumbled into the clearing, bouncing with joy.

ic: Sandstar then called, "Flowerkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Flowerpaw. I ask SoulClan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior."

Flowerkit's eyes sparkled with joy. She hopped up to the front, scanning the clearing of cats and wondering who her mentor would be.

Sandstar looked down on the young she-cat and called, "Dapplenose, please come up." Dapplenose, surprised at the leader, padded up before him.

"Dapplenose, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from Ivorydusk, and you have shown yourself to be fierce and brave. You will be the mentor of Flowerpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." Sandstar said. Dapplenose smiled in pride and bent down to Flowerpaw to touch noses with the young cat.

Shadekit shrieked Flowerkit's new name, perking his ears.

Shadepetal cheered Flowerpaw's new name. Sbe smiled in amusement at Shadekit.

Swiftbreeze shouted too, smiling.

Stormleap padded over to his mate, Swiftbreeze, and cheered with her.

Leafbreeze coughed and smiled at the kits and new apprentices.

Shadepaw glanced at Stormleap. That was his mentor? He was a little disappointed, but he didn't show it. He never really liked Stormleap's kits, and never really interacted with him as of now, but he hoped he'd be different than his quite annoying kits. He waited for Stormleap to come up, swishing his tail in harmony with the gentle breeze.

BIC: Shadekit shrugged and nearly bounced a mile when Stormleap approached him. He softly touched his nose, although his nervous shivering and jitters shook the warriors body.
