Amberkit roused from his nap, faintly hearing his name being called by the leader. He hadn't realized there was a meeting going on. He leaped up nearly a mile, gasped quietly, and ruffled his fur, licking some mottled fur on his paw down. He padded out of the nursery and to the front of the crowd, chest puffed out and tail held high.

Sandstar was amused at the young tom for not noticing the meeting.

"amberkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Amberpaw. I ask SoulClan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior." Sandstar announced.

Stormleap settled down for the rest of the ceremony. He liked seeing the kit's excitement, as he was like that. It brought good memories.

Amberkit looked around the camp observantly, wondering who his new mentor would be.

Amberkit looked up at Marshfeather, slightly startled that Sandstar would give him as a mentor. He was kind of rude in Amberkit's case, but, looking at the bright side, he might teach him a thing or two about saying "no" for once.

Amberpaw licked his chest, hot with embarrassment. He'd taken the blame and got yelled at so many times from his mother as Ebonykit dragged him along on trips out of camp, but the whole Clan cheering his name for an achievement was rather overwhelming. He hunched his shoulders and covered his ears with his paws as he pressed himself to the ground, nervous.

Ebonykit silently watched from the corner at her sister's ceremony. Finally, no more kits business, no more embarressment and rules. She thought to herself as she curled her tail around her paws neatly.

Firepaw joined the rest for the ceremony and watched from the back at the cats he was friends with. Noticing Flowerpaw, he padded over to join her. "Congratulations!" He whispered.
