OOC: Well, actually Lynxcloud is Speckledpaw's mentor, but @Athena is a little inactive so she's "filling in" as Foxpaw's mentor. He can be her mentor, though, if you really want to.

Lynxcloud listened to the soft pitter-patter of the rain against the wall of her den, which eventually led her to fall asleep unexpectedly.

Sandleap went out of camp to retrieve some Brambles. He came back with a long tendrils and weaved it into the den, leaving no hole. Sandleap stood back to admire his work.

Rain dropped. Paws plopped. The 7-inch long rattlesnake slithered towards the kits. It sank it's fangs in the kits neck. Kits dropped. Rain stopped.
Lynxcloud awoke, her eyes dead as if she had just seen a ghost. She watched the warriors fix the crack in the ceiling, blinking sleepily.
"What?" she whispered, shuffling her paws nervously.

OOC: Y'all realize that the camp in a cave, right?
IC: Hazelflight shrugged and padded back to her den, watching rain fall outside the entrance.

Ooc: Sorry again! (Sorry is probably my most used word on this site, I mess up a lot. So, I guess Sandleap just stuffed the crash full of brambles?

Cynderpaw padded out of the apprentices den, looking up and watching as the clouds moved happily in the sky. She yawned and took out a mouse, and nibbled on it as she found shapes in the clouds up above.

Lilyflower raised one eyebrow at Lynxcloud and flicked her ear, "Uh- You fell asleep while we fixed a crack in the cave. " She meowed, shrugging as she padded out the den.

Foxpaw glanced at Cynderpaw with a grumpy face. "All that prey is soaked, ya' know?" She mewed over, warning the apprentice before she took another bite of the soggy mouse.

Smoketail twitched in his sleep. He opened his eyes in a field of flowers. He purred as he frolicked around with petals flying here and there. He twitched his ear as he heard a scuffle behind him, whipping around he noticed another black and white tuxedo cat. "Oreo!" He yowled with happiness, he noticed his paws were smaller and his friend was swifter. In his dream, they were young again, as loners. Oreo nodded with a smile and joined him. Smoketail let out a purr in his nest, twitching his tail with excitement.

Quickleap purred as he trotted to the prey pile. picking off a wet squirrel.

Lilyflower left the warriors den and looked around camp, the sun was peeking from the clouds as it formed a beautiful sunset.

Foxpaw narrowed her eyes as Quickleap, as he took a piece of prey. "The prey is soggy and gross. Just a warning." She called over, her tail tip twitching irritated.

All of a sudden, a pack of dogs came running, one taking down oreo and another chasing after himself. "Smoke!" Oreo called desperately, Smoketail ran faster, but his limp leg held him down. He wailed helplessly as the dog pinned him down and shaking his scruff with it's large and pointy/sharp teeth. Then, a storm of lighting and rain mixed with hail came down, scaring the dogs off. As soon as Smoketail got up from being mauled by the dog, a flood of water formed and pulled him below into the darkness. It was rather soothing, for he thought he could hear someone saying his name gently. Smoketail woke with a start and glanced around. "Smoketail!"

"Smoketail! Smoketail!" Lilyflower meowed, twitching her ears in frustration. "Oreo visited and told me to tell you that he would drop by as soon as the rain stops." She meowed, shaking her wet fur from being outside.

Sandleap yawned and took a cold and soggy shrew from the prey pile. He settled down in a drier place in revamp under an overhanging rock.

OOC: Rogues aren't really allowed in camp...?
IC: Oynxshine lay fast asleep in the elder's den, dreaming of chasing rabbits in the meadows.

OOC: No, Oreo meets by the border. He doesn't  come in the territory.

Smoketail cocked his head, "Oh.. right." He rasped, getting up and stretching.

Lilyflower nodded and left the den.

Foxpaw let out a slight growl as another took the soggy prey. "Whatever, it's there problem, not mine. " she muttered to herself, flicking her ear.

OOC: That'll still be a result of being chased out by EchoClan or StormClan. I stated this on your audition. Also, Leo, how am I supposed to know? There is nowhere to tell it, and Willow's thing in the ranked spot I can't see. @Willowpoppy, why can't I see it?

Lynxcloud scrambled out of the den, approaching the prey heap. She picked out a vole and ripped into it, watching her paws nervously shuffle as she twitched her nose and angled her ears towards the entrance for a sign that her dream was foreshadowing something.

ooc: What's everyone arguing about? Someone PM me, tagging me in the camp topics is just annoying, this is probably the only time I'll reply to a tag here.

Rainpaw, flattening her ears against the drizzle, padded around and rested her head on the gathering spot. She wished she could have the leaders den, a beautiful, secure, and lichen-covered den. But, then again, being in the leaders den means she's all grown up, and she doesn't want to grow up. She sighed and dozed off into a sunshiney world, daydreaming of her birth and how she was still a gentle little kit. She imagined herself a kitten all of her life, and she shuffled her paws like an embarrassed kit in trouble as she zoned off into her own little world.
OOC: @Artemis, it's Firefoot, not Firepool.
Firefoot dreamed of being young again, but he was quickly woken by Lilywhisker and Smoketail. He sighed and got up, dusting off his fur and padding out, but he immediately hurried back in with a hiss when a single cold droplet landed on his forehead and dropped down to his nose.

Smoketail chuckled as firefoot raced back in. "Say, Firefoot, would you like to tell stories to each other? I'm rather bored." He rasped, getting up and stretching his hind legs.

Lilyflower stretched as she entered the warriors den to warm up from the cold icy wind.

Foxpaw, noticing Lynxcloud had finally appeared, padded over to her. "Could we do some battle-training? It would be good to practice in the rain with mud, then we could attack others in harsher weathers where they couldn't fight in. " She meowed, talking as fast as a squeaking mouse.

Lynxcloud sighed.
"Sure, I guess." she meowed.
She couldn't stop thinking about how Speckledpaw had gotten captured by Upwalkers. She still felt a glimmer of hope for him.
OOC: Don't worry, I'm just making it up since Cinder isn't that active now.

OOC: If that's the case what do I do with Speckledpaw now? Should I make him come back now because I'm basically back?

Volekit bounced around the camp, with his siblings. "Wanna play a game?" He mewed.

Frostkit shivered. "Yeah!"

"I won't. It's too cold today. I think I will stay inside the den with Darkcloud," Batkit answered from the nursery.

OOC: Poofing Dovepaw back if she wasn't at camp.

IC: Dovepaw prodded the vole she had taken from the foodpile, her belly feeling strange.

OOC: Just a belly ache

Volekit whispered to Frostkit, "Lets get that Stormclan cat over there!" He motioned to Dovepaw. He leapt onto her, followed by Frostkit.

OOC: Nah, maybe he was just in hiding from some rogue that had threatend him but he came back, okay?
BIC:
Lynxcloud watched the kits play and attack Dovepaw. Before she left with Foxpaw, she growled at them.
"Leave her alone! She's a medicine cat, she needs to work." she meowed coldly.

Dovepaw squeaked in surprise at the kits, and tried to wriggle out of their tight grip. She feebly battered them (gently) back.

Lynxcloud rolled her eyes and turned to Foxpaw.
"Hey, can we go to the Twolegplace? I want to try and find Speckledpaw." she meowed unexpectedly, flattening her ears.
OOC: But, they will cut through the gorge and find him, okay?

OOC: Yesh

IC: Dovepaw suddenly felt a rumbling in her stomach. She felt something come up her throat, and before she could stop herself, she vomited over the grass floor.

Lynxcloud gasped, approaching Dovekit.
"Are you okay?" she meowed, but without waiting for an answer she rushed into the medicine cat's den and grabbed some herbs.
"Here, eat this." she handed Dovepaw some stinging nettle seeds.
She had remembered what her old medicine cat had told her when she wanted to learn about herbs a little bit.

Dovepaw nodded, before feeling to rumbling again and vomiting some more. As it wasn't as much, she knew there was no more food wanting some air. "Thanks." She cloaked.

Lynxcloud nodded, feeding Dovepaw the stinging nettle. Although she knew she could do it herself, she didn't want to risk her vomiting it up herself since she was a new medicine cat apprentice, so the tabby did it just right.

Dovepaw chewed on the nettle, forcing her stomach to stay down.

Lynxcloud moved the apprentices jaws carefully and then pushed the kits away.
"Go play with your mother and father, she's sick." she flattened her ears as she slowly let go of Dovepaw's mouth.

Dovepaw shook her head a little bit. "I wonder why that happened..." She mewed, still a bit creaky.

"It's okay, just, go drink some water." the tabby motioned to the medicine den, she thought that Dovepaw would obviously know where their stock of water was in there.

Dovepaw nodded, slapping herself internally before padding into the medicine den and taking a few licks of water.

Lynxcloud waited patiently outside of the medicine den, shooting a glance at Volekit and his littermates before turning her attention back to the sick apprentice.

Dovepaw went back out to Lynxcloud. "I don't know why that happened..." She mewed.

"It's okay, probably just a little bug. It happens." Lynxcloud reassured, glancing up at the sky.
It was rather gloomy, but she enjoyed that environment.

"Mmmm, probably." Dovepaw mewed, looking up in the same direction.

"Maybe it's just the gloomy weather. Foxpaw, my brother, he would always get a little stomach bug in this kind of weather before." she meowed, watching out of her peripheral vision as Foxpaw paced in circles and waited for her impatiently.

"Yeah, or something I ate." The gray she-apprentice agreed.

Lynxcloud felt Dovepaw's tail, trickling her pads over the top layer of her fur.
"There's a bump in your tail, maybe it's because of that. Were you born with this?" she motioned to the small bump on the apprentices tailtip.

Dovepaw shook her head, confused. "No..."

Lynxcloud jolted, because when she put her other paw on the place she couldn't feel the bump. The tabby inspected her own paw and noticed that the bump was, in fact, on her! She shrugged a shoulder, not thinking it was a big thing.
"Whoops, I'm sorry, it's my own paw!" she meowed, giving a jagged purr as she wasn't used to showing affection towards another cat.

Volekit watched Dovepaw, his eyes wide. He shivered and ran to the nursery, snuggling with Darkcloud.

Frostkit followed Volekit, and snuggled in.

Batkit twitched his ears and bounded out of the nursery. The chill was strong, but Batkit ignored it. "Can I help?" He mewed, wanting to help. He had an interest in herbs, and already knew cobwebs, marigold, and catmint.

Lynxcloud turned to Batkit, feeling the bump on her paw constantly.
"No, I've got this under control, your'e just a kit." she growled.

"Pleease?" Batkit had his heart set on helping, and he gave his most pitiful look. He whimpered softly.

"No, go play with your littermates!" she snarled coldly, shooing the kitten away.

"But I wanna be a medicine cat! I really wanna!" Batkit wailed. He sniffled and calmed himself down.

Lynxcloud felt that he was overwhelming Dovepaw, so she sighed, trying not to strangle the annoying kit.
"Fine, go get me a bowl of water." she instructed, hoping he wouldn't mess anything up in the medicine cat's den.

"Okay!" Batkit carefully navigated through the medicine den, and got some water-soaked moss. He returned, without a single drop of water spilled. He smiled at his achievement. "Here," he mewed, setting the moss down carefully.
