Fireclan camp

Gorsekit sighed in relief and raced after Skykit.

Goldenkit looked around, and looked at the leader. She rached after the other kits. "See? There they are." Boucnefire mewed.

Amberstar waited till all three kits where out of his sight and then went inside the camp.
"There is Runningkit..." Twistedheart sighed, "I remember Rosethorn coming to get her... why is Amberstar returning her?"

Gold shook her head: "Everyones gone mad."

Gorsekit hopped through the little hole and acted as if she had never left/

Goldenkit ran over to her parents and sat by them.

Skykit entered the camp throught the dirtplace like Gorsekit and walked over to his mother and father: "What is happening?"

"Amberstar returnes Runningkit", she meowed.

Gorsekit crept up behind Dawnpool, hoping that her mother hadnt noticed her absense

Bouncefire looked at his kits. Brightclan sent?

Amberstar sat down Runnigkit at Dawnpools side and looked at her: "I will never take in this kit. Not because I don't accept others to my clan, it is because I don't accept stupid parents, splitting up their kits like a piece of prey because they cat eat together. You won't seperate Sisterst just because Oceanbreezs wants to have his fair share of children. This is not how it works to be a good parent at all." Then he walked up to Birchstar: "I am sorry that my deputy has caused you trouble. Brightclan did never claim any ownrights to this kit, it's just the father beeing stupid enought the think a kit is a playtoy that can be taken away from its place to have a free share. I'll be sure to punish him and my deputy for this unforgivabel behavior towards the leader of another clan."

Twisted looked down at her kits: "Where have you been?" Skykit looked at Goldenkit and then at his mother: "To the dirtplace."

Goldenkit nodded. SHe looked around.

Birchstar mewed "Thank you." she sat up, looking at the kits.

"If any other cat comes barin for these kits, be sure, it is not on my order", he bowed his head, "I am sorry to put this kit throught so much trouble." With this words her walked out of the camp.

"This is gonna give some searious trouble in Brightclan", Twistedheart looked worried.

Dawnpool sighed. She knew that she would have to take drastic measures to be able to make this work. "Amberstar," she mewed evenly. "THis is not my kit."

Runningkit's mouth was agape. "What?"

Dawnpool didnt look at either of her daughters. "Gorsekit is mine, but i no longer consider Runningkit as my daughter."

Gold growled a littel: "Don't listen to her Runningkit your mother is just trying to get her thick head throught a wall to thick for her", Gold laid her tail aorund the kit.

Twistedheart looked at Dawnpool.

BOuncefire watched the leader leave and then to the kit. "Of course she is!" Goldenkit mewed.

Runningkit pushed away from GOld. "No! I'm not a part of FireClan! Oceanbreeze still loves me, and Dawnpool isnt thick. I'm leaving to BrightClan." she hissed and clawed at anyone who tried to stop her as she raced out of the camp.

Dawnpool watched her daughter go, a tear sliding down her cheek.

Goldenkit looked around. She watched the kit leave. Bouncefire looked down at his kits.

"Mommy!" Gorsekit mewed. "Why did you make Runningkit sad?" Gorsekit whimpered as she watched her sister run away.

Twistedheart jumped and stopped the kit, even with it clawing her.

Dawnpool shook her head. "Runningkit belongs in BrightClan. She even said it herself."

Runnigkit lived up to her name, and raced onwards.

Gorsekit broke away from Dawnpool and ran over to Runningkit. "Runningkit i dont want youu to leave!" She mewed.

Dawnpool grabbed her kit's scruff, and placed Gorsekit back in her nest. "Come on. You'll be able to see her at gatherings when your an apprentice."

Birchstar watched, not saying a word. All the kits are leaving, one, by one...

"Your mean Dawnpool!"; Skykit hissed at her, "do you know what you have done to bothe of your dauters! Can't you imagen what it is like to feel like one part of you is missing! Your a bad mother! Amberstar was right to scold you and I don't wanna share a den with you ever again, I'll sleep outside!"
"Skykit stop it...", Twistedheart said, "Why, I can't belive that you like this." He growled his fur fluffing. "No my sweetheart but...", she could not find a word to defend Dawnpool. "See it is not right, anyway you put it."

Dawnpool's eyes grew wide. "If that's how you want it, you can look after Gorsekit. I love Oceanbreeze the way he is, and for no other reason shall i stay here." she got up, and padded out of the camp in a huff.

"WHAT KIND OF MOTHER ARE YOU! SENDING ONE KIT AWAY AND LEAVING ONE BEHINDE!!!!", Skykit yowled at all he got.

Twisted just watched everything in shock. Silver and pushed herself against Gorsekit and rolled around her.

Birchstar got up. "Why leave? After all we did?" he asked the cat.

"I have lost it somewhere", Twisted shook her head.

Dawnpool looked at her Clanmates, eyes wide. "Gorsekit can do what she chooses. FireClan holds a better destiny for her than a life of a loner. Amberstar never gave Runningkit that chance, so I will make sure Gorsekit does."

Goldenkit ran over. "But, But, Can't you stay?" she squeaked.

Gold stepped forward: "I have lived with my daugter all alone and I was also raised by my mother all alone. My littermates died along the way and I learned to live with the faith, that a loner never stayes with his family, but you are clancats and should know, that kits always love their parents above all and that they always be happier having them around and not beeing sepperated."

Dawnpool sighed. "I love Oceanbreeze too much. If Gorsekit wishes to stay, then she may, knowing that I love her."

goldenkit sighed.

"First she hates her kit and chases it away, then suddenly she loves her mate too much to stay leaving the other kit away and then a kit should decide what is best for itself", Skykit shook his head, "If you aske me, I would always be where my parents are, even if I head to splitt myself into two pieces."

Dawnpool lifted her head. "If Gorsekit wishes to come, then I am heading towards the river source."

Skykit touched noses with Goarsekit: "What ever you decide for, we will always be friends."

Gorsekit was trembling. she stared at Dawnpool for a minute before recovering. "You say you love me but do you really?" Gorsekit hissed. "If your gonna leave me then how do i know? im not gonna go with you! im gonna stay here with my clan mates who actually care about me!" she fluffed her fur out.

Skykit brushed his fur against Gorsekits and licked her ear. "I am so sorry your parents are quite subbor cats", he said.

Gorsekit hissed once more at her mother and then said. "I know. i wish that both my parents could have just been Fireclan."

Silver licked over gorsekits head: "We'll just be a big family now." Skykit nodded agreeing.

Gorsekit sighed. "so now Twistedheart will take care of me too?" She asked, just to be sure.

"I will", Twisted said. "Me too", Gold nosed Gorsekit, "Don't worry we'll always take good care of you." The golden Queen stroke the kit with her fluffy tail.
