Runningkit yawned, and Dawnpool looked geniuenly surprised to see her kit. "H-how'd you find her?" Dawnpool mewed, attempting to hide her surprise, and her anger at Oceanbreeze. How could he? He promised!

Graceheart nodded. "I have some tansy here. Get Seakit to swallow it, and drink some milk afterwards." She handed Silver the herb.

Dawnpool nodded calmly, but inside her head was a fire of doubt, betrayal, and off all things, heartbrokenness. "Seakit." she gently shook the kit, who had gone quiet. "Seakit?" she mewed louder. The kit didnt move, not a muscle. "Seakit!"

"No... No I have the herbs, that will help surely... Graceheart said she just needs to chew them and drink afterwards", Silver stared chewing the tansy, "I'll do the cewing, it just has to swallow..."

Dawnpool's eyes teared up. "He's in SOulClan." she whispered. RUnningkit fell asleep.

Birchkit tumbled into the nursery. "Hi! Seakit, it's light out! Want to come play? Come on! Wake up, Seakit! Let's play! Wake up! Wake up, Seakit! Wake...up!" Puzzled, he looked at Dawnpool. "Why won't Seakit wake up? I want to play with him!"

Suddenly, something struck Birchkit hard. The nursery didn't smell like Seakit. "S-Seakit?" He whispered. There was no heat coming from the tom, and his scent was fading rapidly. "Se-Sea-Seakit?" Birchkit trembled slightly. "Is he-" He broke off and stared at the tiny body with wide, scared eyes.

Runningkit sat down, licked a forepaw, and drew it over her ear. "Will someone explain to me what is going on?" she mewed.

Laurelkit yawned as she woke up. "Gold..." she mewed. Flickerkit opened his eyes to a wall of black fur. "Argh!" he shrieked, only to scent that it was his father. "Oh..." he gave an embarrased glance to Ash, who purred happily.

Leafpaw wondered where Heartpaw had got to.

Leafpaw padded out of the camp, hoping she can find something to hunt. She came back with her eyes streaming. "Heartpaw's dead!" she howled. "Attacked by foxes!"

Bluepool rubbed her tail down Gorsekit's back to try to comfort her. "I know the whole clan is greiving for both Seakit and Heartkit." She lookedd up at Soulclan and wondered if they were both walking together up there.
