FireClan's Volcano

Flickerflame nodded, trying not to wake little Ivykit in his jaws.

Gorsewing gently took Foxkit and stood up.

silverwing took the other kit and padded to camp.

Gorsewing also padded back to camp with Foxkit. she glanced back at Flickerflamr.

Flickerflame purred around the kit in his jaws.

Shimmerpaw ran here.

Thunderheart came behind her. "This is the volcano," he said

"IDd you go up there?" SHimmerpaw asked.

Thunderheart nodde. "once, with my old mentor."

"WHo was your mentor?" SHimmerpaw asked.

"Ivyfur," Thunderheart said

"Who is she?" SHimmerpaw sked. "I never seen her."

"She was killed by badgers." Thunderhera meowed sadly

'Oh... sorry." SHimmerpaw mewwed.

Thunderheart shook his head. "Lets keep going," he went to the meadow

"Okay!" SHimmerpaw mewe,d fallowing.

Birchstar padded here with his apprentice. "This is the volcano. It is not active though, we think..." Birchstar paused. "We hunt here though."

Drakepaw looked up at his mentor "What kind of prey do you catch here?" he asked in a curious voice.

"Birds mostly. SOmetimes there will be a mouse or two." Birchstar mewed.

He already understood about not going too close to the edge and hoped that Birchstar wouldn't have to give him that lecture."Are you ready to go,Birchstar?"

ooc: He wont.

ic: "Yes. Okay, this way." Birchstar mewed, heading away.

Windflight ran here, his scruffy gray tabby pelt slightly damp from the cold forest. Ivywing followed more slowly, blinking her dark emerald eyes in amusement.
The senior warrior slowed down as he neared the top of the volcano, and tested the ground lightly with his pad.
"It feels warmer than usual..." Windflight commented, looking back at Ivywing.
The shecat frowned. "Wont be anything unusual."

ooc: Sorry for the double post.

ic: Windflight shrugged. "Let's hunt." he mewed, retreating down the volcano slightly and going into the small forest.
Ivywing followed, her ears pricked for prey sounds.

ooc: And again. But at least im actually rping now....

ic: Ivywing looked up from her kills, two sparrows and a fat mouse. "Windflight....?" she called, wondering where the other warrior went.
Suddenly, a loud yowl sounded from the bushes, and Windflight fell through them, landing on his back in the dust.
"What are you doing?" Ivywing mewed, stifling a laugh.
Windflight staggered to his paws, and sighed. "Hunting..." he said, looking back. "I saw a rabbit, but i think it got away."
"Stupid furball." Ivywing joked, rolling her eyes.
Windflight lowered his head meekly. "I caught a thrush, three mice and a blackbird though." he mewed, defending himself.
Ivywing's eyes widened. "Really? We should probably get back to camp then," she laughed, picking up her catch and flicking Windflight's nose with her tail as she leapt delecately past.

Whitepaw ran here, stopping only when he almost crashed head first into a rock. Mosspaw purred in amusement.

Winddapple panted, catching up a moment after. "Wow you two are fast..."

Blossomdawn chuckled, rolling her eyes.

Whitepaw grinned. "im so fast, i bet i'll be called Whitespeed." 

"Dont be a furball," Mosspaw mewed. "Your not that fast."

Winddapple purred. "You just have a lot of energy~" she joked.

Blossomdawn smiled.

"What is this place?" Mosspaw mewed, finally noticing where they had run to.

Blossomdawn looked around. "This is the volcano." She mewed. "It's not active now thankfully."

"Was it active before?" Whitepaw asked.

Winddapple looked at her friend, thinking. "I don't remember..."

Mosspaw looke up at the volcano. "Can we go up there?"

Blossomdawn frowned. "Not to the top. Warriors don't even go near it... They stay at the foot here to hunt."

"oh," Mosspaw mewed, nodding.

"Where are we going next?" Whitepaw asked.

"We'll go to the meadow, then the borders, then the pine forest to hunt for a bit before going back to camp." Winddapple offered.

"Good idea. Sound good to you?" Blossomdawn asked the apprentices.

They borth nodded. "Beat you there!" Mospaw challenged Whitepaw as she took off running towards the meadow.

Wildpaw padded here, sniffing the air.

Birchstar fallowed. He looked at the volcano, and sighed.

"Is this the volcano everyone talks about? Will it explode...?"

Ooc: okay.Don't over react. I just post that if people don  reply.

Ic: "no. It never has. We hope it never will." Birchstar mewed padding on.

Wildpaw looked up at the volcano again, amber eyes slightly wide. "Where to next?"

"this way." Birchstar mewed, leaving.

Wildpaw walked after him, glancing back at the volcano once.

Brreezepaw padded here.

Mossheart followed him. "This is the volcano." she said, looking up at it.

Breezepaw looked at it eagerly. "Cool! It looks like a giant mountain."Breezepaw said

"Thats because it is a giant mountain." Mossheart purred.
