Silverstripe turned and swiped a paw out at her apprentice, then jumped away before she could get hit.

Thornpaw dodges the attack and runs torward Silverstripe swiping both paws across her flank stheathed.

Silverstripe turns and jumps into the air. She landed on the other side of Thornpaw. She hooked a paw out from underneath him, then pinned him down.

Thornpaw uses his back legs and and front to push Silverstripe off gently. He gets up quickly and nips Silverstripes leg gently.

Thornpaw falls and rolls to his left quickly before she can pin him down. He lunges on her back and pins her down so she couldn't get up.

SIlverstipe jumped up and throws him off. She shook out her pelt, then said, "Just because your enemy goes limp doesn't mean they give up. Many cats forget this, and lose a fight because of it."

Forgetting about his loss, Thornpaw gets up quickly and says "Yes!"

"We are going to learn the upright lock." SIlverstripe says, licking a paw then setting it back onto the ground. She turned her eyes back to her apprentice again. "This is an easy finishing move to use on an already weakened opponent. You stand up on your back legs then bring all your weight down onto the other cat."

ic: "Good." SIlverstream smiled and flicked her tail back and forth. "Now, there is an easy way to stop this kind of attack. All you have to do is get up on your back legs as well, and wrestle them to the ground, this can be vary hard with a bigger cat though."

"Cool." Thornpaw mewed and stood up on his hind legs. He started wobbling and fell backward with a thud. "Oof!"

Thornpaw grunted and got up. He tried again with his tail a bit up and balanced. He used all his force and slammed into the ground with his paws making a thud.

Thornpaw stands up on his hind legs again and trying not to hurt Silevrstripe, lands both of his front paws on her back pinning her down.
