blackfrost sighed shaking snow off her pelt she settled into her nest shivering, trying to fall asleep

Coldnose peered out of the warriors den, only to get a sniffling nose full of wet snow. He shook his head roughly and snuffled, taking a sparrow from an empty nest and breaking it into large pieces for each of the apprentices. He winked at them halfheartedly before quickly returning into his own den, plopping into his nest and resting his head on his paws. He stretched out his legs and began to nibble on a kingfisher.

blackfrost twitched in her sleep dreaming about full leaf and catching a juicy mouse

Leopardfrost uncurled herself and peeked out of the den. "Not hailing anymore, but still snowing." she complained.

blackfrost sat up in her nest yawning she curled around smoothing down her fur.

Moonface woke with a jolt from his long sleep outside as a large piece of hail hit his skull. He scrambled into the closest den, the elders den, and pressed himself on the ground, hunching his shoulders over and shivering.
"Oops.." he meowed to no one in particular, glancing at Leopardfrost.

Leopardfrost stared at Moonface. "Hi." she mewed.

Dapplestar stepped out of the leader's den. The hail had died down, but now snow was swirling across the camp and loud winds whistled through the mountains. She clambered up the tallcave, careful not to be knocked down by wind. 
"Everyone gather beneath the tallcave for an announcement!" she yowled into the wind. She couldn't risk anyone going out in this weather.

Mintpaw and Scorchgaze rushed to sit under the Tallcave.

Beetlepaws ears pricked, and he eagerly followed the directions of his leader; sitting beneath the Tallcave. Is she going to talk about the weather?  He thought to himself, but he brushed his curious thoughts away quickly.

Quickstep struggled through a harsh wind and sat with the others beneath the tallcave.

"No cats are to go out on patrols at this moment!" Dapplestar called, her voice faded slightly by the wind. "The wind is too strong and the snow too thick. I don't want anyone to get lost or stuck, it's better we all stay in the dens where it's safe! That is all."

Beetlepaws first instinct was to object, tell her that she was wrong and that every cat was fully functional of hunting and patrolling out in the snow- but he shut his muzzle quickly before his first word came out, realizing this was his leader and he should respect her decisions.

Moonface heard Dapplestar's call and scrambled out of the elders den immediately, awkwardly stumbling to the ground of the ground and flattening his ears as the snow swirled and the wind whirled around him. His heart sunk lower into his ribcage. She had been calling lots of meetings these days. What was this going to be about?
Birdpaw exited the apprentices den with eagerness as she took her place in the middle of the nearly empty crowd beneath the Tallcave. Even though she was still an apprentice age, she was much older than the others in her den, and she hoped that this would be somehow be her ceremony, a snow-fulfilled ceremony.
Flurrynose entered the camp again, Fallenpaw beside her, as she saw Dapplestar on her perch and more and more cats gathering quickly. She was still worried that the badger might follow them here, but she took a deep breath and joined the crowd uneasily.

Scorchgaze gave an angry growl and objected. "What about prey?!" he yelled.

Beetlepaw blinked in surprise as another cat shouted out his exact thoughts... Foolish warrior. He should listen to and obey Dapplestars every word! "Its not your place to speak for what this clan does and what it does not!" He yapped at Scorchgaze without thinking, and pulled back once he realized what he had done.

"We have prey in camp right now." Dapplestar called, "I doubt this blizzard will last more than a day or two, we'll go out once it's calm. But I'm not risking someone freezing to death or falling off a cliff for some food."

Scorchgaze shot a glare at Beetlepaw for a second and gave a hmph to Dapplestars orders. He'd obey... if the what he says is true.

Lizardnose limped out of the warriors at the sound of his sister's musical voice echoing against the den walls. He shot a questioning glance at Scorchgaze for deciding to talk back to Dapplestar. He nodded in agreement of Beetlepaw and Dapplestar, not exactly knowing what to say.

Coldnose curled his upper lip and shook his muzzle out from the snow that had collected a pile on it.
"Freezing to-to death?" he repeated under his breath in straight-up fear.

"Don't leave camp until the blizzard calms down. If prey runs out, we might send a small patrol, but I'm not sure they'd be able to catch anything in this weather anyways. That is all." Dapplestar announced, concluding her meeting. She jumped down from the tallcave, an unexpected wind knocking her off-balance. The proud leader fell rather ungracefully into a patch of new snow.

Birdpaw held in a giggle as the leader fell into a patch of fresh snow as she disappeared into her den again. She patted the flattened snowball she had tried to cheer Scorchgaze up with earlier and made it into a perfect ball again. She bounced it against the wall, and surprisingly it bounced back, well, barely. She halfheartedly rolled it against the cold moss and sighed heavily.

"I-I am okay!" Dapplestar announced, getting up. "This further proves my point!"

Mintpaw rushed over to help her leader.

OOC: HAHA THIS IS SO FUNNY
IC: Coldnose followed Mintpaw without thinking and helped his leader up, nearly slipping on some ice himself.

Quickstep laughed, though it was covered by the shrieking wind.
"Thank you two." Dapplestar meowed, stepping carefully forward and shaking the snow off her pelt, shivering.

Beetlepaw turned away curtly, storming off to the apprentices den as if something had severely ticked him off.

Quickstep stopped laughing and padded to the prey heap. She picked up her quail, which was starting to get very cold, and carried it to the warrior's den.
"Perhaps I should join the rest of you in the warrior's den." Dapplestar mewed to Lizardnose.

blackfrost started to walk to the warriors den slipping on some ice and falling many times, getting up everytime. she finally made it to the warriors den. she sat down in her nest embarrassed hoping no one saw that.

OOC: Pretend Leopardfrost was at the meeting...  

IC: Leopardfrost nodded in agreement. She picked up a sparrow form the fresh-kill, then padded back to her nest, shivering.

she sighed laying down in her nest and fell asleep

OOC: Raven, it would help if you made your posts a little longer
IC: Lizardnose purred.
"Sure, I guess," he mewed, shrugging and leading the way into the warriors den.
He took the cold and measly hare he had caught earlier and nibbled at it, then shoving it gently to Dapplestar.
"Eat up, you look thin." Being severely overprotective, he rested in his nest and let his sister finish the whole thing.

ooc sorry.......

ic   blackfrost dreamed she was in a dark and gloomy forest. she looked around for a cat. she found non. blackfrost tried to cry out but no noise came out. she raced around the forest trying to call out to any cat she could find. she scrambled to a hault as a large dark shape hovered over her. she screamed as she woke and sat up in her nest claws out and looked around with wide eyes.

Coldnose jerked his head up from a nap. He looked at Blackfrost like he'd just seen a ghost himself, breathing heavily.
"What happened?" he shrieked.

turns to coldnose. " I,.. I.." she jumped as she heard a twig  snap. " I.. its.. just a dream forget it" she mumbled

Coldnose nodded firmly, but tapped Blackfrost's shoulder with his gentle tail.
"You can tell me!" he assured her, his fatherly-like instincts kicking in.

Mintpaw watched Coldnose talking to Blackfrost and sighed. She said "Oh Coldnose," with a slightly annoyed tone.

" I.. I guess I can  tell you..." she meowed. :" in.. in my dream I.. I dreamed I was in a dark forest, and.. I could hear no sound.. and I.. could make no sound, it was like the forest was dead.. and then a huge cat like figure trapped me.. then.. I woke up..

ooc: Hey raven, on the forum, there is no Dark Forest. It's just soulclan since the forum would be chaotic with the Dark Forest

Dapplestar rolled her eyes and ate the sparrow. "Maybe I should have saved this for when we really needed it," her mind rang, but she was too relived for the food to stop.

ooc lol ok ill pretend it was just a random forest then..

Moonface stepped outside for a bit, glad the hail had stopped. The whirling wind rang like a bell in his ears and the light streaming from behind the overhead clouds fell to the ground like melted butter. He shoved his cold muzzle into his fur and sat by the entrance, flicking his tail to and fro abruptly.

Dapplestar padded into the warrior den with the others. "Wow, it's been ages since I've been in here..." she muttered, looking around.

Leopardfrost rolled over in the elder's den. She grumbled, got up, and went into the warriors den. "I heard the party's in here." she mewed.

glanced towards leopardfrost .. " no,. no party" she meowed laugher edging  her voice

"If you mean a 'not freezing to death party', then yes." Quickstep scoffed.

"Oh good, I'll stay here then." Leopardfrost smirked.

growled a little and turned in her nest laying down trying to sleep but cant knowing her dreams will be haunted bye her old dream

Leafwhisper rolled her eyes as she came into camp. Right before she got here, the hail had stopped. She saw Coldnose, and put her bird into the prey pile. Leafwhisper padded over. "Hi, Coldnose," she mewed auietly and softly.

"The snow's picking up!" Dapplestar yowled at the warriors outside, but the shirking of the blizzard winds seemed to cover her voice.

Mintpaw and Scorchgaze felt the harsh cold blow on both of them. Scorchgaze grabbed Mintpaw by the scruff and pulled her to the closest den.
