ooc: i was using my medicine cat apprentice, Mintpaw

Mintpaw stopped at the fresh-kill pile to have something to satisfy her hunger. She decided to have a squirrel. She grabbed the squirrel in her jaws. Pretty sqrawny, she thought.

Blackswan looked up at Frozengaze. She shrugged and got up, leaving the den. Frozengaze rolled her eyes with amusement and sat back down, stirring.
Blackswan approached the fresh-kill pile and examined the scrawny prey. She picked out a thin thrush and nibbled on it halfheartedly, glancing at Jewelpelt and Mintpaw as she awkwardly shuffled out of the way.

Mintpaw gave a glance at Blackswan and shrugged. She carried the squirrel in her jaws back to the medicine cat den. She layed down and happily ate her prey.

Quickstep dragged a quail into camp, the bird weighing her down quite a bit.
"Great catch!" Dapplestar mewed, impressed by the quail.

she yawned and looked up at the sky seeing the sun staring to set she grabbed a mouse off the pile, and walked near the warriors den settling down to eat it

Leopardfrost slowly yawned a went through her stretches quietly, after her long sleep. She gently padded outside and over to the fresh-kill pile, mumbling and grumbling about how cold it was.

IC: Quickstep hissed as a drop of hail hit her in the head. "Ugh." she muttered. BrightClan was never like this. She padded into the warrior's den, her ears flattened.

she looked up at the sky then flattened her ears in embarrassment " I didn't know it was hailing" she called running towards the warriors den to get out off the hail.

Coldnose flattened his ears as hail hit him on his nose.
"Ouch!" he yowled, lashing his tail.
He saw Quickstep standing there and rushed over, nearly tripping over his paws as he approached the quite beautiful she-cat. He rested his tail on her shoulder and led her quickly into the warriors den as he took to his own nest. He hugged a moss ball he had kept since being a kit and awkwardly grumbled as he turned to face the wall.

Beetlepaw lay with his paws tucked under his belly as he watched the hail fall outside the apprentice den, his thin, wiry tail curled around and up against his side. When was this hail going to end? No cat would be able to progress their day with weather like this. The tom grumbled, laying his chin down in front of him on the ground.

Leopardfrost squeaked as a hail drop hit her on the head and she shot into her den to stay out of it. So much for staying outside

Coldnose nodded at Quickstep and awkwardly pushed the prey heap into the warriors den, then wobbling out and putting an equal amount of prey in each den.
Just in case this lasts longer than I thought. he told himself, hurrying back into the warriors den with flattened ears.

Coldnose watched Blackfrost leave. He winced, hoping she wouldn't get hurt out there. He nibbled halfheartedly on a squirrel and put a small piece of prey on every one of his fellow denmates' nests, his sister, as always, first. But he saw her nest was empty and wondered where she was. He peered out of the den, only to get a mouthful of wet snow.
"Now snow, too?!" he yowled louder than he thought he would.
"And wet." he added in quietly under his breath.

Beetlepaw watched as cats scurried from place to place- trying their best to travel without being rained on by the ice. His eyes caught onto the black cat running from the elders den, her dark pelt speckled from the snow. As much as he would rather not have hail hitting at his skull, he thought that these cats should have enough experience to suffer through it and go on with their daily routines- not that he was any different, though. He noticed some cats had been grabbing a bird or two from the freshkill so that they could eat them inside their dens. His stomach grumbled a bit at the thought of food, yet he closed it out, deciding it was best he wait until the hail stopped.
