Lily stood up and didn't k ow what to do. She finally decided to head up to the snow peaks to do some quick jobs.

Avalanche landed on the iceberg again and felt bad now because she had just made them both alone. She glanced back and sighed deeply. But then she realized the iceberg was heading further towards the shore.

As lily started to leave, she picked up something. It was a dragon scale. White dragon scale. She slipped it into her bag. She would always remember this dragon, even if she hated her. She turned, like she was on auto pilot and walked to the Stables.

Avalanche flew towards the Inut island once again and upon spotting Lily let out a roar to get her attention as she hovered in the air above her.

Lily jumped and breathed a sigh of relief. "I thought you weren't coming back." She said, sitting down on a rock, going through her bag. She pulled out a bottle and drank from it. She then unshethed her sword and used a cloth to polish it. She didn't notice it made a gleam on the rocks whenever the sun hit it.

Avalanche looked at the gleam and started pawing at it like a cat would. It bounced from rock to rock and she found herself chasing it.

Lily laughed and angled the sword so the dragon could never get it. She kept moving the gleam.

Avalanche kept chasing after it even doing quick movements to try and catch up but she never caught it.

Lily turned the sword so the gleam dissapeared. She stood, sheathing the sword. "Want to come back with me? I'm sure we can get you your own little stall in the stables. Or even you can sleep in my house if you want. Or even you can adventure and come back sometimes?"

Avalanche tilted her head to the side, not really understanding her at all right now. She snorted and flicked her ears, her pupils becoming bigger, making the classic puppy-dog eyes.

Lily scratched Avalanche behind the ears with both hands, knowing that some dragons really enjoyed this. "You know what?" She said. "You'd look cute with a gronckle iron necklace."

Lily kept scratching her as she pulled out a feather that she had picked up from the ground. She placed it behind Avalanche's ear. "Hmm...."

Avalanche blinked and then shook her head, dislodging the feather, she would look best in sapphire or blue pebbles as a necklace though. Avalanche gently grasped Lily's hand and tried to get the human on her back.

Avalanche spread her wings out and got a heading start before taking to the sky, she was taking her above the clouds so she could see the stars above them.

Lily swallowed, holding on. She then took her hands off and stared at the sky. "Its beautiful." She muttered. She reached down and stroked the dragons head. "Thank you."

Lily started talking to Avalanche. "Maybe I could get you something pretty. Blue would go great with your scales." She then leaned down. "Your the most beautiful dragon I have ever met."

Lily squealed and held on for dear life. This was exciting! She held on as the dragon neared the water before widening her eyes.

Avalanche pulled up last second but her legs grazed the water's surface, they could both hear it splashing below them. Avalanche was about to fly upwards when something made her eyes widened and she flew towards the shore. She landed near what appeared to be a Timberjack's stored lumber and looked around.

Avalanche slid Lily off her back and all four of her ear flaps were twitching. Something was really wrong here. Avalanche walked around one of the piles of lumber and then stopped short, staring at what appeared to be a nest made of twigs.

Laying inside of the nest was a timberjack egg which appeared to be moving.

Lily walked towards Avalanche and stared at the egg. She then looked up. "Where is its parents?"

Avalanche glanced around but there was no sign of any timberjack close by. She growled a little upon seeing an axe sticking in the ground and then backed away from the nest as the egg began hatching.

A crack appeared on its surface and soon a small piece popped off.

Lily backed away. She knew that eggs exploded when they hatched. She then saw a axe sticking out of the ground and picked it up and shook her head. "Dragon hunters." She said, with hatred.

Avalanche backed away as well and flinched at the explosion of the egg. She lifted her head and stared towards where the nest was and saw a baby timberjack about the length of her tail there.

Ruddy opened his eyes, he was a dark auburn-red timberjack and he sneezed a little bit before glancing around and calling for his parents.

Avalanche's eyes widened and she ducked her head, not liking this at all.

Ruddy glanced towards Lily and growled a bit, slithering away from her fearfully using his snake-like body.

Lily made a sound in the back of her throat, she had observed some dragon species make to comfort their young. Lily then reached into her backpack, trying to find something.

Avalanche slowly stepped out among the firewood and frowned deeply. She could still smell the dragon hunters in this area but the scent was hours old.

Ruddy turned his head around, still looking for him parents before curling up, feeling cold.

Lily pulled out what she had been looking for. A blanket. She placed it around the baby dragon before picking him up. "We have to take him home."

Avalanche growled a bit because this reminded her of her childhood. She glanced around, her mouth gaped open and ears alert for any sounds of hunter or dragons.

Ruddy squealed and roared in fear in the blanket and squirmed.

Avalanche growled a bit and backed away from Lily. She was paranoid now and alert for any signs of danger.

Ruddy eventually calmed down and fell asleep in the blanket.

Lily stared at Avalanche before gasping and jumping forewords, pulling out her sword and deflecting a blow from a dragon hunter's sword.

Avalanche roared in the direction of the sword's blow and firing the explosive shot towards where it had come from.

Lily jumped to the side as the blow hit the dragon hunter but then felt a sword go to her throat. She couldn't move as the dragon hunter started moving backwards.

Avalanche roared for her brother's help, and then hoped he was close by.

The dragon hunter brang Lily and Ruddy to the ship, where he took them downstairs to his boss.

"Well well well, a dragon rider scum. Put her in a cell."

The Dragon hunter took her to a cell.

Ruddy fell silent as he felt the need to be and so he just stopped moving while inside the blanket, hoping the humans speaking didn't notice him in there.

Avalanche roared more and flew after the ship.

Orion flew close to his sister. "Whats up?" He asked.

Lily started fumbling with the lock. She needed something sharp. She pulled out a pin from her hair and started picking the lock, before picking it. She sneaked out and onto the deck of the ship.

Lily sneaked over to where her bag was lying. She grabbed it and pulled out her dagger. It wasn't her sword but it would do.
