Fireclan camp

"Okay," Gorsekit mewed. "Why did my mother leave me here though?" She looked up at Gold.

"Your mother is young and confused. She tried to do what she thought was right. As this did not work as she planned she got even more desperate to get her will fullfilled and now she has just acted like a kit which is not allowed going out of camp. With the differenz, that she is grown up and does not have a mother chasing after her, to take her back."

Twisted acompanied them inside the nursery: "Yes she might return to us, but I think she is now with Runningkit and your father." "Something Amberstar wanted all along, he talked to us while we wanted to take Runningkit back. He just wanted to unite the family in one clan, not even thinking about his clan to be the favored one... just thinking the kits needed both their parents..."

"You where in Brightclan territory Skykit?", Twistedheart looked at her son. "Well... I wanted to do the right think mother!", he said with pledding eyes.

Gorsekit jumped overr next to Skykit. "He went because i said i missed Runningkit!" she said. "Dont blame him it was me," she looked down at her paws.

Twistedheart signed and gave bothe kits a soft lick: "I should have known you would try to interfer. I am just glad nothing happened to you."

Gorsekit flicked her ears. "Do you think Runningkit will remember me?" she asked in a small voice.

"You are her sister, she will never forget you", Twistedheart said, "You might not recognize eachother direktly if you meet each other again, but she'll defenitly know who you are, if she takes the time to figure."

"Just like a mother will always know her kits", Gold added.

Gorsekit nodded. "I dont want to see Dawnpool gain though." she said.

Goldenkit looked around, she sat down by Bouncefire, who licked her fur.

Skykit bounce over to his father and jumped at his back and purred.

Gorsekit scratched her side.

Bouncefire purred "You got me!" he mewed, falling down.

"What a huge piece of prey", Skykit purred softly bitting his fathers ear.

Bouncefire pretended to be dead. Goldenkit purred.

Gorsekit purred and pounced on Bouncefire too.

Bouncefire purred, getting up. Goldenkit mewed "You go like this!" she got down low, and flatened her self to the ground.

Gorsekit tried to copy Goldenkit. "Where did you learn that?" she asked

"I saw someone do it one time." Goldenkit mewed. Bouncefire nodded. "Keep your tail still" he mewed. Goldenkit mewed "oops." she held her tail still.

Gorsekit kept her tail still too. "Am i doing it right?" she asked Bouncefire.

"Get down lower." Bouncefire mewed. Goldenkit padded forward slowly. "Goldenkit, try to step softer." he mewed, turning to his kit.

Gorsekit got lower and started creeping forward. "Like this?" she asked.

"I can do that too", Skykit flattened himselt to the ground.

Goldenkit stepped lighter. "Remember, a mouse will feel or sent you before it sees you. Make sure you are DownwinD." he mewed. Goldenkit mewed "COme over here Skykit! Your upwind!"

Gorsekit purred. "Skykit isnt upwind. He is the mouse!" She attacked her den mate and pretended that he was her prey. "This is a really big mouse!" she said.

"Aaawww I'm not a mouse... I... taste very bad", Skykit laught.

Gorsekit purred and jumped of of him. "Your a lot bigger than a mouse," she said, batting at his tail.

Skykit rolled at his back and tried to get off Gorsekit.

Gorsekit turned back to Goldenkit and waved her tail back and forth.

Skykit jumped onto his legs and jumped at Gorsekit.

Gorsekit sueqked and rolled onto her back. "You'll never defeat me!" she said as she jumped up.

He laught and batted agains her belly, playful.

Gorsekit rolled over and scampered away. "Cant catch me!" she taunted playfully.

Skykit got up and chase her across the camp. "Gonna get you for sure!"

Twistedheart went over to Bouncefire and Goldenkit, licking Goldenkits head softly: "You did a good hunterscruch."

Gorsekit keept running but she got tired soon. "Please warrior of firelan! have mercy on me!" She said to SKykit.

He brushed his pelt across hers: "Well okay but just because you begg so nicely." He laught a little.

Gorsekit jumped up and pounced on him. "I tricked you!" She mewed happily.

He rolled over pinning her down.

Gorsekit mewed. "Thats no fair, your a lot bigger than me!" She tried to get away.

He purred softly: "Well I am male and older so it is just normal." He got off her and streched his paws forward.

Gorsekit jumped to her paws and shook her fur out. "Maybe you'll be bigger than me....but i'll be faster than you!" she meowed.

He laught: "I hope so."

Gorsekit said, " But i bet Runningkit will be the fastest cat ever!"

"Fast as lightning", he assured.

Gorsekit smiled. "I cant wait till im an apprentice and i can see her at gatherings!"

"Let's work hard on it", Skykit purred.

Gorsekit nodded. "i wonder where my mother went?" she mewed, half to herself.

Skykit shruged: "Hopefully to care at least about one of her kits..."

Gorsekit sniffed sadly. "Do you think she meant it when she said she loved me? becuase if i ever had kits, i wouldnt leave them," She said.

Skykit snuggled into Gorsekits fur, licking her cheek: "She loves you and she loves Runningkit. I bet she was just so mousebrained beacause she thought she was doing the best... Well even if I don't see why splitting up the two of you was the best after all."

Gorsekit sighed and licked his ear back. "I know, but i still dont understand why all of us couldnt just stay in fireclan," she said.

"I don't know that either", Skykit looked up in the sky, "Maybe Soulclan planned something bigger."
