Flavia snorted, amused by Minkura's defensiveness. "Who are you again?" She meowed, narrowing her gaze, "Onyx's deputy? Assistant?" The white and gold-tabby shecat stretched and flicked her tail. "Doesn't matter, I'm only in this because I'm lending a paw to help my one-eyed friend here," She meowed with a shrug, before drawing a paw over her ear casually.

Syrup sat down, sniffing at the small fresh-kill pile, and backed up as Umbra placed a couple more prey down. She studied the pieces carefully, and shuddered as she noticed the prey was skinny, marking the oncoming leaf-bare. The brindled shecat glanced around. "Anyone up for a hunt?" She meowed, flicking her ear as she heard her belly grumble.

Marmalade pushed himself out, his ginger pelt glowing in the early light. “I’m up for a hunt.” He said, shaking out his fur.

Dragon pushed out of the old apprentice’s den, muttering something about disgusting moss. She turned towards the dirt place and sighed. She went over and got a good sized bird to eat.

Umbra looked up at the mention of another hunt. Her tail-tip twitched and she tilted her head. "I volunteer Valkyrie and Crone in my place," she meowed sassily and plucked a plump mouse from the pile.

Crone growled at the Siamese rogue, ebony tail lashing as he looked to the patrol. "I'll go, I suppose," he hissed.

Valkyrie glowered at Umbra but still got to her paws, sleek fur gleaming in the light of the rising sun. "Let's get it over with."

Min scoffed. "I'm in equal authority of Oynx, for your information. If you're so annoyed by our plans why are you helping at all?" she growled, ignoring the chatter about hunting.

Syrup flicked her tail. "Then it's settled, let's go." She meowed leading the way out the entrance.

Mochi padded outside of the old nursery and yawned. She started walking and was tripped by Flint, who was chasing a moss-ball. “Watch it, idiot!” She snarled at the black she-kit.

Umbra growled at Mochi. "You watch it, she's just a kit!" She snapped venomously, showing clearly why some refer to her as Viper.

Mochi snarled. “I won’t just let a kit talk about me like that and get away with it. Take that back!” She snarled

Umbra purred and got to her paws, slinking over. "Now now, Mochi, don't be so rude to poor little Flint. After all, you crashed into her," she purred, long tail draped over Flint lightly.

Mochi growled, extending her claws out. “She’s ran into me, along with her stupid moss-ball.” She growled. “Why did we even take this kit in?” She added. “Just a burden to Onyx.”

Flint drooped her head at the thought of being a burden.

Umbra's eyes gleamed with fury and she snarled, pulling her lips back to reveal sharp teeth as she unsheathed her claws. "No kit is a burden. Say it about her again and I'll rip your throat out you mangy, flea ridden, pest!" She seethed, turning to Flint and softening immediately as she crouched to the she-kit's height. "Hey, you're not a burden, I promise," she mewed quietly to her.

"Stop arguing over who's a burden if you're not gonna hunt." Angus snapped, flexing his claws threateningly. "I'm starved and I'm eating that damn kit if someone doesn't get food."

Umbra simply let out a giggle and purred, backing off. "Alright, alright, sheathe your claws. Save those moves for the clan cats. I was just teasing," she purred and flicked her tail over the tom's nose, sitting down.

Umbra purred, "I might take you up on that, for training purposes of course." She stretched out and rolled onto her back, soaking up the sunlight as she swayed her tail along the ground.

Umbra looked up at the large tom and she paused for a moment, intelligent eyes scanning him. She got to her paws and stretched. "Care to join me for hunting? I'll need help bringing everything back," she mewed lightly, looking up at him curiously as her tail-tip twitched.

Everest slipped out of the "warrior's" den and padded over across the clearing, her piercing blue eyes flicking over to Umbra, and Angus. Pathetic! These cats just argue the whole day, the siamese shecat hurried on over to where Onyx's den was. "Onyx?" She called out, her ears perked up to hear a response, "Are you going to hold a meeting for us about the battle?" Everest flicked her tail, wondering if her leader would agree to tell her loyal, and original group members her plan. I hope she does, She thought, I should have earned her trust by now.

Mochi rolled her eyes. “Sweetie, You are just a member of Onyx’s group. I am an ally, one of Onyx’s most respected cats. I wouldn’t pick a fight if I were you.” Mochi said, a teasing gleam in her eyes.

Flint arched her back and spat at Mochi. She’s so mean!

"I would pick a fight because you're just a mangy ball of fleas. I'm younger, and stronger. You'd be beneath my paws in seconds," Umbra stated nonchalantly, wrapping her tail around Flint and gently pushing her towards her mother. "If you want, sweetie, we can play later but I'm going to hunt," she meowed.

Onyx blinked her eyes open in the shade of the den, growling when she tilted her head towards the entrance and her injured eye didn't see anything. Mouse tails and fox dung, she thought to herself, sinking her claws into the moss. She got up and padded out, stretching in the weak sunlight.

River sat down at the edge of the clearing, washing his pelt from the moss and sticky wounds that were patched up from yesterday's battle. Right when he noticed Onyx leave her den, he shifted his paws nervously, and backed up even more into the shadows of the camp wall.

IC: Everest let out a sigh, trying to keep her patience in tact. The Siamese quickly turned and bounded over to the clearing, picking up a shrew and settling down in a sunny spot to eat.

Flavia lay down as the sun was unblocked by clouds, showing a rare patch of blue sky in the cold, leaf-fall. She blinked one eye open, noticing the fresh-kill pile was picked already, and only the old, staler prey was left behind. I'll just wait until the next prey comes in, She thought to herself, ignoring her rumbling belly as she shifted over to lay on her side.

Ambrosia sat grooming her paw for what was likely the sixth time. Her sleek pelt warmed in the sun, and she stretched out in it, dark amber eyes gleaming as she spotted Viciari. She grinned and swiftly got to her paws, padding over and dragging her tail along the underside of his muzzle. "Well look at this, sleeping beauty awakens," she purred.
