Snow and clover and shade sat in a small abandoned house. "I think we should leave soon." Clover suggested. "No! I dont want to so we wont. I am the leader, you are not. I dont care in a few twolegs came, they dont live here so we are safe." Snow mewed, a hiss to her voise. "I know but-" clover broke off. "Stop! Go catch me a mouse to eat. Shade, dont just sit there, go make yourself usefull some how." Shade and clover got up and padded away to hunt. Snow streatched out in her nest, watching them leave.

SHade and Clover padded back over to Snow. CLover with two mice and Shade with a bird. "Later I will show you how to catch a rabbit. If Snow letts us move out of this stinking place." Clover mewed, the last part a whisper. Shade just nodded. "Finally! You took forever." Snow mewed, standing up as she saw them.

Topaz jumped through the broken glass window. she landed lightly on her paws. but she forgot all the glass that was scattered across the floor, and she landed and a long shard that went deep into her paw. she held back a yowl of pain as she limped away from the glass.

JAsper walked around here, fuming about Topaz excaping. he paused to sniff at a bush, looking for anything that would hint Toapz had gone this way.

Topaz limped over to a softer part of the floor, leaving little dots of blood behind from her paw. she started licking it clean.

Jasper walked away, sniffing around for Topaz's scent. he didn't know how close he was to finding her.

Jasper suddenly caught a familiar scent. his eyes blazed in eagerness as he carefuly traced Topaz's scent.

Jasper walked around. he caught a different scent, one that he thought he didn't know. he leaped at the cat that was following him.
"who are you?" he hissed.
She snarled. "You don't know your own mother?" Jade kicked him off.
Jasper froze. He hadn't seen his mother since he was a kit.

Topaz hissed in pain, her paw ached from the glass. she tried to pull it out.

Jade snorted, flicking her tail. "where's Topaz?" she immediately wanted to know.
JAsper went rigid. he didn't know what to tell her, or what she expected to hear. "she's....Not with me." the hatred in his voice was obvious. Jade hissed.

Jasmine blinked her eyes open. She glanced around and sighed at the stale air in the room. She got up and pushed her way out of the cat door in her housefolk's nest entrance, and sniffed happily at the fresh breeze rustling her fur.
