"Very tall and steep hills that can be hard to climb up. At the top sometimes there are small clouds that you can see up close. Not very often does this happen but it does happen. You will find many plants on the crest of the hills but not on the way up. You can find some herbs up there too. There is always sun there and because there is a lot of prey the warrior mentors like to teach hunting skills on these hills."

Mintapple padded through the bottom of the tall, steep hills of DuskClan's territory. He thought of having an apprentice side-by-side with him, well trained and quick as a rabbit, running up and down the hills with great speed. Mintapple shook his ruffled fur and sat down, tucking his paws under his fluffed up, curled tassel.

Fluffkit shot through, ending up here. Her fur was fluffed up, and her tail sticking up. Her fur was sticking to her body, and the ripped part of her face was soaked.

Tawnypaw skidded to a halt, nearly slipping into a pool of mud. "Fluffkit! Please stop running!" she panted.

Grasspaw skidded to a halt. She couldn't run anymore. She blinked and saw the sky light up. The sun bounced and danced in the sky, but then the dark grey clouds fought together and covered it again. A clap of thunder snapped her out of it, and she slipped under a bush for protection, finding more pieces of wet fur.

Fluffkit threw her head over, shaking it. She leaped onto a rock sticking out the hill, her pelt soaking wet. She rolled down the hill, just getting her feeting back.

"Stop Fluffkit! Just stop! We're not trying to hurt you!" Grasspaw yowled, shivering as she slid across the mud puddles to make herself faster.

Tawnypaw circled around, cutting off the kit. "Stop running." she mewed, then froze. And scent wafted over her. Dog. "Fluffkit, please, stop running. We need to get to camp."

Fluffkit shook her head. "I kill dog." she growled, sprinting around Tawnypaw and racing off into the rocky cliffs.

Grasspaw froze. She was being wafted in memories and daydreams that made no sense. Her mother flashed before her eyes. Blood poured down her grey and white fur as the same big brown dog toppled over her. Monsters ran in circles around her body.. her father lay dead on the unknown Thunderpath.

Boulderpaw let out a yowl, his muscles starting to get stiff. He leaped over a boulder, running to chase up with the kit.

A lightning bolt smashed down nearly a few mouse-lengths in front of her. She jumped back, scared, and crawled after Tawnypaw and Boulderpaw towards the Rocky Cliffs.

Brackenwing bounced softly as he walked, the cool snow already numbing his paws, and his ears pricked. He glanced to his apprentice, wondering how much more training he'd need, before deciding to sneak attack. They continued along the hills for a few more minutes before Brackenwing turned suddenly, leaping at Dawnpaw.

Dawnpaw sniffed, the pulled a face. That smells like cat, but not one of ours. "Uhhh...Brackenwing?" he mewed.

"It smells like weird cat." he mewed, sniffing again. Unlike the scent left by their Clan, it seemed to linger instead of rest solidly in one place.

Brackenwing let out a frustrated growl as the hare heard Dawnpaw, scampering off immediately. "Are you trying to kill the Clan?" he snapped, whipping around.
