A deciduous forested area which reaches up the side of the mountain nearest to the Brightsprings. Prey is abundant almost all year round due to the large mountain eagles being mostly unable to hunt in the closed-in space of the trees, meaning mice, rabbits, and other small creatures tend to prefer it to the open spaces of the mountain. Streams from the Brightsprings track through the territory, attracting small fish like minnows, and further downstream, larger migrating salmon in spring and summer. Small bushes and herbs also grow, protected from frosts and the worst snows by the thick trees, but they are only really able to be harvested in the warmer moons.
