"I mean, that is why we did the exercise I'm assuming." Mothpaw mewed to Risingpaw in an amused tone.

Riptidepaw trotted into the group, confused as to what was going on but eager for an actual battle.
Crabpaw watched the group from the edge of camp, grooming himself.

Hazelflight nudged Roseleaf with her nose. "Should I go with them? In case it gets violent?" she asked, her voice wavering nervously.

Roseleaf shook her head. "I'll go, you can prepare here," she nodded stiffly.

"Warriors!" Ivorystar called, standing near the entrance to the camp with her tail flicking.

Hazelflight pressed her face into Roseleaf's shoulder. "Be careful." she whispered.
Jasperheart watched the group gather, upset she was too injured to go help.

Mothpaw trotted after Ivorystar.

Roseleaf shook her head. "I would rather you didn't get injured, Mistpaw. We'll need many more healthy paws when we return," she added softly, touching the apprentice's ear with her nose. "Thank you for offering, though."

Flakesoul darted out the den and over to the large group. "What's happening?" she asked, looking around and padding over to Icebreeze and Mothpaw. "Why's everyone out here?"

Seabreeze walked up to her fellow medicine cat apprentice, hearing her words. " Oh it's not that she doesn't WANT you there." She comforted. "She just doesn't want you to get hurt, she needs you alive to help here when the warriors get back."

" I'm sure Roseleaf can take after herself." Seabreeze said, a playful glint in her eyes. "As for seeing a battle? There's not much to see other then blood and hearing screams, honestly a bit tromatizing to sit there unable to do anything as your clanmates get hurt." Her lit up eyes died, and she shivered.

Moonshine snorted, flexing her claws. "We might not even have to fight." she pointed out.
Riptidepaw darted ahead of Ivorystar and peaked his head out of camp, flinching as a fat raindrop fell on his head.

Mistpaw nodded and turned, going towards the medicine den. She lied down on her nest and thought. Will Roseleaf need my help? No she wont! But what if she gets injured! I'll sneak out and try to see if shes ok later.

Fallenpaw smiled, "Of course." She purred slightly, "After all, you don't want to be stuck with your sister, right?" She teased, her voice naturally quiet.

Jadepaw snorted and flicked Fallenpaw's ear on her way out of the apprentice's den, "I heard that." She mumbled as she watched the cats leave.

Eagleblaze and Tigerpounce both followed the patrol that was leading to battle.

Nettlepaw followed Fawndapple, although she was padding right beside Sparrowpaw. Her gaze kept flickering back to the camp, searching for Daisypaw in worry.

Ivorystar looked around the crowd of cats, noticing her own apprentice in the mix and making a note to train Ivypaw more. "Let's move, warriors!" She yowled, racing out of camp.

Crowflame pushed her way out of the entrance and raced after her leader. She was excited to finally go into battle after a long period.

Mistpaw sighed as she heard the others leaving. She buried her nose in her nest and closed her eyes. "Oh, soulclan, why did you let this happen?" She looked up and watched as her mentor and the other warriors left.

Cherrywind tucked her tail around her kits. "Right, you all heard Ivorystar, didn't you? We have to protect the camp."
Flickerkit shivered. "B-but I don't wanna," he whispered weakly.

We're waiting for the ceremony to finish in Dusk before Fawn appears, and Ivory will lead the group to the border first probably, where she's gonna tell them what the plan is.

Mudwhisker, Springpaw, and Nightmoon raced after their mentor.

Eagleflame shoved back resistment, and darted to Flakesouls side. Why did she have to chose going to the battle and not protecting the clearing? He thought, shuttering slightly at the thought of blood and thrashing claws and cats screaming in pain. It's fine let's go! He thought, brushing against Flakesoul slightly and closing his eyes a bit to try and understand everything that was happening.

"I want to go but Whitefeather says I can't!" Snowpaw complained. "I'm an apprentice now! Not a kit!" She wasn't talking to anyone in particular.

"Hush! You haven't had any battle training yet. And I'm still your mother, kit or not." Whitefeather said as she licked her daughter's fur.

Blizzardpaw's only response was a sigh.

Icebreeze followed the departing cats.

Glaciershard stood up from his warm spot and followed the cats. "Wonder what's happening." He muttered

Whitefeather sighed. "Snowpaw, you know that Nightmoon and Icebreeze are extremely skilled warriors. They won't die." She said, trying to reassure herself.

Squirrelkit followed clumsily behind her mother, her tail sticking straight up in excitement.

Lightningkit stayed curled up in his nest, watching his mother and littermates exit the den. "Hm," he wondered aloud. "The camp seems so quiet."

Tumblekit followed Squirrelkit, his denmate, and clumsily bounded over to Daisypaw. "Hey, where'd everybody go?" he tilted his head in confusion.

Jasperheart slunk out of the medicine den, heart aching. Aurashade...Petrelflight. I left them there. She slumped down against the side of camp.

Hazelflight trotted to Mistpaw's side and pressed her head into the apprentice's shoulder. "I'm sure everyone will be alright." she mewed, looking at the group of apprentices.

Daisypaw nodded, "I hope so." She replied in almost a whisper. She flicked her ear, glancing around camp, "I haven't seen my sis- friend anywhere either. I mean, Nettlepaw doesn't seem like the one who would run into battles." She explained, halfly to herself.

Squirrelkit laughed as she rolled off her brother, "We need to practice fighting so if Frostclan cats come, we can chase them off!" She explained enthusiastially.

Echokit blinked her eyes open from her nap and glanced around the nursery, noticing Ryekit was already up.
