BrightClan Camp

Glaciershard noticed Skybreeze's gaze and met it. He padded over. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

Jasperheart trotted into camp with a rabbit hanging from her job, dropping her kill in the freshkill pile.

Petrelflight stood at the edge of camp, keeping guard.

Riptidewind stretched out in the clearing sleepily, the sun shining on his pelt.

Ivorystar followed Jasperheart in, her own catch dangling from her jaws. She seemed rather caught up in her own thoughts, not even pausing as Cherrywind meowed her name and simply walking into her den.

Rowanpool padded into camp and dropped the rabbit he'd caught into the fresh kill pile. He couldn't shake the feeling of being watched no matter how hard he tried, and it was beginning to annoy him.

"I'm so tired." Jasperheart sighed to Rowanpool, flopping over.

Rowanpool sat down with a weak purr of agreement. He couldn't be bothered to come up with a snarky reply.

Jasperheart rolled over, looking up at Rowanpool. "Do you think that Ivorystar will be okay?" she mewed, suddenly solemn.

Rowanpool's dark eyes flickered and he looked towards the leader's den. He flattened his ears. "I don't know, honestly," he meowed softly. "After losing both Brindleflight and Hickorydapple.." He sighed and lied down.

Jasperheart sighed, struggling to her paws. "I'm going to sleep early. See you tomorrow." he yawned.

"Sleep well," Rowanpool purred. "You should probably eat first though," he mewed lightly.

"Ate my bird on the way back. It was a scrawny thing and the rabbits seemed like enough!" She called as she padded to her nest.

Rowanpool chuckled and got to his paws, padding over to his siblings. He purred fondly at Snowwing, who seemed very interested in something Aspenflake was clearly worried about. "What thorns were in your nest?" He meowed as he settled next to his sisters. 

Aspenflake flattened her ears and looked away. "It's nothing important," she mewed, to which Snowwing scoffed. "Just tell him," the white shecat commanded, tail flicking. Aspenflake shot her a death glare.

"Tell me what?" Rowanpool asked boredly, tail twitching. At Aspenflake's silence he looked to Snowwing. "Tell me." "She's expecting kits," Snowwing whispered excitedly and frantically gestured to Aspenflake's slightly swollen belly with her tail. Rowanpool's fur bristled but he quickly relaxed and gritted out, "Congratulations." "She won't tell me who the tom is," Snowwing whined. 

"Because it doesn't matter," Aspenflake hissed and padded away.

Hazelflight waited at the entrance of camp for Seabreeze, her head hung low. Do the other medicine cats know yet?

Seabreeze quickly tucked in some herbs from sorting through them, standing up and flicking her tail. She walked out of the den and to Hazelflight. She looked at the older medicine cat with slight pity. Where is Mistpaw and Dawnpaw? She thought glancing away from Hazelflight to skim the clearing.

Lynxcloud padded into camp, tail lashing. She dropped her catches in the fresh-kill pile and dipped her head to the medicine cats as they prepared to leave. She frowned as Ivorystar ducked into her den, and contemplated following her. She bit her tongue and turned to the nursery instead to check on Skybreeze.

Mistpaw walked over to Hazelflight. "It doesn't feel right going without Roseleaf..." She said, head hanging.

Dawnpaw bounded over to the two medicine cats, anxious to leave. She flicked her ginger and white tail nervously, forcing her fur to lie flat.

ooc: *whispers* they're already at the Mooncave

"Lynxcloud!" Petrelflight yelled to the deputy, "I see a squirrel a few fox-lengths away! Can I get off guard duty and go catch it?!"

A squirrel that had dropped from a poplar tree to forage scuttled into the undergrowth after hearing a yowl.

Mochi bolted in, a look of fear on her face. "Help, Help!" She yowled loudly. Her ears were flattened to her head and her head darted from side to side nerously. The running had caused one of the wounds to start bleeding again.

Petrelflight saw the rogue and darted in front of her, blocking her way into camp. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" she spat.

"I need help.... Please..." Mochi begged, crouching low in respect.

Rowanpool stood and hissed, dark eyes blazing. "Fox scum," he snarled and padded over to Petrelflight. "Why is a rogue in here?" He mewed to her, unsheathing his claws as he watched Mochi from the corner of his eye.

Mochi panted deeply, eyeing Rowanpool from her spot on the ground. Her face only showed fear and distress. "P-please help... help..."

Rowanpool's black, fury filled glare never lessened, and he bared his teeth. "You killed two of our cats. You and your mangy band of fleas you call cats," he hissed, fur bristling.

"Help with what!" Petrelflight snapped, baring her teeth, poised to strike.

Jumppaw stared wide-eyed at the rogue. An attack? A ploy? What is this? He thought to himself. He leaned in closer to hear the exchange.

Onyx led the rogues silently to outside of the camp, keeping low in the grass with the wind blowing towards them so the Clan couldn't scent anything more than Mochi. "Min, Quake," she whispered for the two cats.

Rowanpool snarled loudly and crouched as Lightpaw padded over. "Rogue.." the apprentice snapped, fur bristling immediately and his tail lashing.

Min flicked her tail, prowling through the grass and pricking her ears as the encounter with Mochi happened in BrightClan camp.

Aurorashade bristled, brushing up beside Petrelflight and baring her teeth. "You and your band of rogues killed Brindleflight! Get out of here! Why doesn't that stupid Oynx treat your wounds? Did they leave you?" she spat, mocking Mochi.

Ivorystar padded out of her den, blinking as the bright orange and red of the sunset made her eyes hurt for a second. "What's happening?" she demanded.

Blink stuck behind Min, while Blade smirked from his spot behind Quake, claws sinking into the soil.

Lynxcloud was stiff. "This rogue says she needs help. But she smells like Oynx and those other filthy cats." she explained to Ivorystar, watching Mochi with unease.

Lightpaw flinched at the mention of his mother. He glared at Mochi, the burn scar on his face making his golden eye look as if it was a blazing fire of amber flames. 

Rowanpool snarled and circled Mochi, ready to strike at any moment.

ooc: are Min and Quake's group ready to attack?

ic: Ivorystar padded over, eyes narrowed. "What do you have to say for yourself, rogue?" she mewed, tactfully moving between Rowanpool, Lightpaw, and Mochi.

Lightpaw flexed his claws into the dirt, crouching low to the ground while his gaze remained locked on Mochi. He rolled his shoulders back, poised to attack. 

Gingerpaw padded out of the elders den and her amber eyes widened with fear. "Tumblepaw," she mewed and ran to his side.

"Th-the group is harsh and harms any cats who disobey." She half-lied, but easily made it sound real. "I left. It was too much! Please help...." She said and adjusted herself so all of her worst wounds could be seen. She dipped her head low to the ground. "Please." She said, trembling with fear. "I want to also get revenge on those rogues who killed your cats."

Marmaladed crouched, ready to attack. Solar and Lunar stood right besides him.

"Lies," Lightpaw spat, growling. He bared his teeth, growls rumbling in his chest.

Mochi flattened herself to the ground and pressed her brown ears closer to her head. "I just want to help." She said quietly.

Ivorystar flicked Lightpaw's ear with her tail. "Calm yourself, Lightpaw," she mewed sternly. "Lynxcloud, take this cat to one of the empty dens and guard her."

Onyx's ears priced. "Now!" she hissed at Min and Quake.

"G-guard me?" Mochi gulped. She had hoped her fake distress would get her something better.

"Of course guard you," Rowanpool snapped. "You're still a rogue, we can't trust you."

Quake slid into the camp, then launched herself at the nearest cat, (insert cat here).

OOC: right?

Lightpaw hissed and kicked her off with his hindpaws, lunging at her with his claws unsheathed.

Quake rolled over, and got up then dodged the lunge, Lightpaw skimming her fur. She shot back with a claw swipe of her own.

Lightpaw snarled when Quake's claws scratched his ear, launching himself back at her. Rowanpool joined instantly, leaping onto her back.

Quake grunted, spinning around with her back to Lightpaw so he'd hopefully hit Rowanpool instead of her.

Ivorystar's eyes widened. "Rogues!" she yowled, waking up anyone who was already asleep.
Fawndapple stumbled tiredly from the warriors den, only half alert as Blink slammed into her side and knocked her down.

Rowanpool ducked at the same time Quake turned, digging his talon like claws into her shoulders and biting into her scruff. Lightpaw's claws raked across her flank.
