Redstripe had been sitting at the side of the clearing, staring at his little kits body. Why was he even out of the nursery! They had just opened their eyes! They aren't even a moon yet! I didn't even know they could walk... he lowered his head in shame. I'm such a terrible father... I didn't even know they could walk.. I wasn't here to protect Bubblekit... I wasn't even around to hear their first words or see their eyes open... He stared at his paws, angry at himself.

Larksong got up. " You should get your wounds looked at." She says quietly, dipping out of the medicine den and picking up her brother, bringing him to lay with the other body's for mourning.

Out Of Character: I am very confused as to what has happened in the role play so far. So can someone who has been her longer do a quick summary of what has happened in the whole FrostClan Camp role play for me....sorry that is a newbie thing to ask I am just very confused...

ooc: rogues drove out fireclan, fireclan are now in frostclan. the same rogues then attacked frostclan and killed many cats.

Minnowlight's eyes hardened and she purred, "No. I'll tear off their pelts and feed them to dogs before allowing them to hurt you," she mewed.

Duststorm poked his head into the nursery. "How are the kits?" He asked worriedly, having seen Bubblekit's body.

Ambershine padded up to Redstar, dipping her head to the leader before speaking. "I was wondering if we should take out a hunting patrol...?" she asked, the only large wound on her body already plastered with cobwebs from the medicine cats.

Redstar turned around, feeling better already as Greytail patched up her wounds. "Sure," she meowed in response to Ambershine, stretching out her legs. "I'll come with. We should bring at least six more cats, however." she flattened her ears when she padded out of the medicine den and saw Martenpaw. "Excuse me for a moment." she said before bounding over to her former apprentice. "Martenpaw... are you staying?"

Martenpaw, ear still stinging from Owlpaw's swipe, nodded. "I made a mistake in staying with my mother. Their group is horrid and I could never imagine living there, even if it meant staying with her." he mewed, head lowered.

Redstar scrunched up her muzzle. "Your sister is a warrior now," she meowed. "If... if you would like to stay, I'll finally give you your ceremony." she purred softly, remembering just a few weeks ago when she kept putting off Martenpaw's warrior ceremony.

Redstar looked around at the injured Clan cats. She winced when her eyes spotted Bubblekit's body by the nursery. She cleared her throat and sat up straight, turning to face the majority of FireClan cats. "Attention!" she announced with a booming voice. "Martenpaw will be staying with us again, and I expect nothing but kindness to him. And because of his courage, I shall give him his warrior name of Martenstrike."

Redstripe lapped his mates ears softly, nuzzling her. " It's not your fault whatsoever. You did all you cou-" He was cut short at Redstars announcement. He raised his head to stare at the leader. FireClan really is insane.

Owlpaw grumbled a little but dipped his head slightly to the new warrior, padding back into the medicine den slightly.
Ambershine narrowed her eyes at Martenstrike, then turned around. "Any warriors capable of hunting please come with me!" she called.

Larksong glanced at the medicine cat den, back to the bodies, then to Ambershine. I can't stay here right now. She half limped to the warrior, fluffing her pelt.

Redstripe blinked at her in surprise. " Well.. uh, our other kits might want you around? They just had probably the biggest shock of their life they ever will have.. but I guess if you really want to.." He said hesitantly.

Brackenflower trotted over to her sister, Ambershine. "Be careful out there, there may be more rogues than what showed up here." She said with worry in her voice touched her nose to her sister's briefly before stepping back.

Snowpaw, having heard the ceremony and her neck beginning to feel better, went out of the apprentices' den. She went over to Martenstrike and purred, touching her nose to his ear. "I'm glad you're back." She purred before going to over to Redstar. "I'm glad to have him back. He made a bold choice in returning, but a good one." She told her leader, her fire-orange fur fluffed up.

Redstar smiled, ignoring the looks cats were giving her and Martenstrike. "I am, too," she purred, tail waving. She then turned to Sparkfeather. "I'd prefer you stay here so we have the stronger warriors in camp. I'll be going with Ambershine." she meowed, stretching her stiff limbs.

Snowpaw simply nodded, her tail lowered and wandered off to find Clearpaw or Icepaw. She would feel bored if she couldn't do anything helpful or interesting.

Snowpaw nodded a little to Clearpaw, " i got Redstar upset a little with me, and i don't like making her upset. But i'll be okay. How are you, after the battle?" She asked her new friend, her ears not flat anymore but her tail still down.

Cloudpaw limped anxiously out of the medicine den, looking around for Flamepaw.

Hollyblaze bounded over to the nursery to check on the queens. She narrowed her eyes in disgust at the sight of kits, stepping around them.

Nightpaw scoffed and got to her paws, stretching out before padding away, her tail flicking over Ravenpaw's nose as she passed. She looked to the medicine den and flattened her ears, trotting over to sit beside Dapplestar.

Nightpaw tensed and hissed, whirling to look at him. "What do you mean by that?" She snapped, tail lashing. "I'm no rogue," she snarled, baring her teeth. With a huff of annoyance, she turned away and looked at Dapplestar. "Dapplestar, are you okay?"

Hollyblaze padded out from the nursery after checking on the kits and queens. She sighed and lowered her ears, padding forward with her tail low.

Foresthowl trotted over to Hollyblaze, his tail waving. "Hey! Did you get fixed up okay?" he asked, shifting one of his hind legs slightly so it didn't lean too much on his hip.

Hollyblaze offered him a sheepish smile and stood up straight. "Only if you come with me," she purred and padded past, dragging her tail along the underside of his jaw.
