Melody blinked her eyes. Food? I hope she means dragons! she thought to herself.

Katla gulped and held on tighter out of fear.

Alrik nodded in understanding and headed towards the forest, unknowingly heading in Eclipse's direction.

Eclipse was currently sleeping curling up in the forest somewhere.

"Awesome," Cindy replied, pulling out her notebook and quickly writing "Dragons" at the top of a new page. She wrote down Sentinals, then drew a quick picture - not that detailed but showing key features.

Lyra looked around, heading towards a clearing. "Can you smell any Terrible Terrors?" Lyra asked Melody, looking at the Death Song. "Only. Terrible. Terrors. No other dragons. Okay?"

Slash sliced one wing through a tree, knocking it down and looking at the others to hopefully pick it up and drop it at the area where they'd be building.

Lily whistled. "It'd be a good idea to have someone who knows the island well." She said. She leaned down. "Other then Flare."

Knight flew up and growled, tilting his head.

"What about one of the Sentinals? Unless they're busy guarding, if there's a 'spare' or whatever they could be called," Cindy suggested.

Knight, who had been behind them flew up and looked down at Cindy, following her voice. He growled.

Lily laughed. "Meet knight, one of the youngest Sentinels."

Knight tilted his head and growled again before flying towards Lily. He Looked at her as if to say, Why do you do this.

Katla yelped a bit as the tree was split apart.

Melody sniffed around but didn't smell any terrible terrors. Instead she smell a gronkle. Yum, hadn't had one of those in a while! she thought and followed the scent of it.

Alrik stopped and called Storm over once he spotted the sleeping Eclipse.

Alrik nodded and slowly stepped towards it. "It's sleeping whatever it is." he said right as he stepped on a branch that broke loudly under his foot.

Eclipse's tail moved a little and his green eyes opened and looked towards them.

Melody flew forward and happened upon a gronkle and its hatchling all alone in the forest. She roared and charged at it, starting to bite at its wing. The gronkle of course protected itself and its baby.

"DO NOT EAT THE BABY GRONCKLE!" Lyra screamed, jumping off of Melody and standing between the Gronckle and the Death Song.

Melody quickly ignored her and chased down the baby gronkle that couldn't fly yet and well, it went into her mouth.

The mother gronkled fired a shot at Melody's wings to irritate her but Melody didn't open her mouth or spit it out.

Storm looked at the dragon. "It looks different then the rest of the ones I have seen."

Melody narrowed her eyes at Lyra and then spit the baby gronkle out when the mother shot at her head.

The baby gronkle made a squeal and then hobbled back over to its mother.

Melody roared at them.

Alrik blinked. "I think it's the coloring, most stormcutters aren't purple and brown." he said.

Eclipse, now fully awake, woke up and growled at them.

Melody was too furious to listen to Lyra and flew after the mother gronkle because it hurt her. (Song time XD)

Alrik gulped. "S-s-Storm, here, offer this to it." he said, handing a cod he had in his pocket.

Eclipse growled more and stepped towards them using all four legs.

Storm took the fish and held it out with both hands. "Pkease don't eat me!" He squeaked.

Eclipse looked at the fish and then up at Storm's face as he slowly approached and sniffed at the fish.

Alrik watched with wide eyes.

Eclipse then quickly bit the fish out of Storm's hand and retreated feet away and swallowed it.

Melody heard the song and she stopped pursuing the gronkle but it was rather hard at first. Eventually she returned to Lyra's side and landed next to her.

The mother and baby gronkle both escaped relatively unharmed.

Eclipse growled a bit.

Alrik threw another fish at the dragon, which was quickly gobbled up.

Melody watched as Lyra killed the terrible terror and growled a bit. She would rather kill one herself, but she had to work with what she had already. She came over and picked it up, swallowing it whole and then purring a little, just a little. She glanced in the direction the gronkles had gone and was tempted to follow, one terrible terror wasn't going to fill her up, it was more of a snack than a full course meal.

Eclipse then looked at the sketch book and curious, he approached and sniffed at it. Storm could see a scar over his left eye.

Storm froze. The dragon was staring at the sketch pad. He looked at the dragon and got every detail, the beautiful eyes, the curious face.

Lily looked over Cindy's shoulder. "Flare is the only Eruptadon here. She didn't even start living here till she was 2."

"Still, she's here," Cindy laughed, looking around at the air. "Whiplash was here, but you've never seen her before, so she must have come here recently," she added afterwards, writing down 'Razorwhip' and marking one cross next to Razorwhip and Eruptodon to show that there were only one of each on the island. "Where are we heading?" she asked, looking around and scanning the area for more dragons.

It is now two weeks later, the houses have been partially built and the discovery of Dragonese has shocked everyone.

Cindy yawned as she woke up, immediately jumping out of her bed when she saw a golden Razorwhip in her face. "Whiplash! I've told you at least 13 times now to not wake me up in the morning!" she scolded, glaring at the dragon.

"And I don't remember listening," Whiplash roared in return, jumping out the window and flying off.

Cindy rolled her eyes, laughing as she climbed onto the window herself, watching Whiplash and Zirconia fly in the air.

Lily yawned and got to her feet, jumping over where Avalanche was sleeping. She walked outside and yawned. She then watched as Flare flew down. "Hey Girl." She said. She scratched her nose and waved at Cindy.
