HTTYD: Delta Island

Orion sat down next to Zirconia. He looked at the Sunset. "Its beautiful."

Zirconia glanced over to him, the sunset reflecting off of her scales. "This is an amazing view," she agreed.

Orion looked at her lovingly. Like you.

A Random terrible terror looked down on them. Rafiki smiled and started singing.

Atlanta sighed. “Anyways. This is Aurora, my dragon.” She explained with a sigh. “I’m sorry I left, Aurora.”

Zirconia laughed, watching the Terrible Terror sing, then turned to Orion. She blushed and then pushed her face into his in an affectionate gesture.

Orion widened his eyes as she pushed her head into his. He licked her nose playfully and pulled her close, wrapping his tail around her.

Zirconia laughed, and then wrapped her own tail around Orion as well, leaning into him slightly.

Orion looked down at Zirconia before resting his head on her head. He looked at where the sun was setting.

"I like you a lot," Zirconia confessed, smiling widely as she watched the Sun.

Orion jumped, staring at her. "You do?" He asked, unsurely. He didn't believe his ears.

"Yeah," Zirconia smiled. "I do,"

Orion gulped. "I guess I like you too..." He said. He licked her cheek in a dragons sort of kiss.

Zirconia smiled, then licked his cheek back. "Good," she laughed.

Orion gulped and smiled. "Its beautiful up here."

"It really is," Zirconia agreed, nodding.

Orion sighed and closed his eyes, feeling the warmness of her scales on his. He loved her, but didn't want anyone to hurt her.

"Do you want to be mates?" Zirconia asked, turning to Orion again and smiling.

Orion jumped at the sudden question. "I.. uh.." He stammered, looking at the floor. He looked up into her beautiful eyes and sighed. "I'd love to be your mate."

Zirconia grinned and took away her tail. She shot a few spines in the air, and fired at them so the red sky was surrounded by blue sparks.

Orion looked at her and then shot a plasma blast into the air, making it explode in the air in a ring of fire.

Zirconia smiled. "Hey, do your echolocation thing," she asked. "I haven't actually seen it,"

Orion laughed and rolled his eyes. "Anything for you, Ma'am." He roared into the air, the roar not coming back.

Zirconia laughed, watching the purple rings. "Oh, come on, you know you wanted to do it too," she laughed.

Orion laughed and looked at the village. It was dark now so most of the people were asleep, other then Angela and Atlanta.

"It's quiet when people aren't running around," Zirconia commented.

Atlanta yawned. “I’m tired.” She said to Angela. “Are you?” She asked, leaning on Aurora.

Angela nodded, yawning. "Yeah... uh, where should use stay?" she asked.

Orion nodded. "Its too quiet. Back on Inut it was always busy, even at 2 am."

"Yeah..." Zirconia heard a distant roar and shrugged. "It feels weird,"

“Dunno. Uh, Aurora?” Atlanta said, looking up.

Orion nodded before looking up at the stars. "Hey, those stars look like dragons!"


Aurora looked down. "Yes, Atlanta?"

"Oh, yeah!" Zirconia nodded. "That one's a Terrible Terror," she lifted her hand up and pointed it at one.

Orion nodded. "That one looks like a certain beautiful Razorwhip I know."

Zirconia smiled. "And that one could be a handsome Night Fury," she smiled, glancing at Orion for a moment, then back at the sky.

Orion looked over at Zirconia. "Oh, really?" He asked, laughing. He looked back up and saw a horse's head, a bewilderbeast and another couple dragons.

Zirconia nodded, grinning. "There's a bird there," she commented, her wings folding in again.

Orion smiled then frowned. "What would Cindy say about us being mates..." He said, before altering his voice into a bad Cindy impression. "What in the name of thor!"

Zirconia laughed. "Yep, something along those lines. Maybe some more fancy language?" she stuck her tongue out at him. "What about Lily?"

Orion thought for a moment. "Lily would probably be ok with it. She grew up in a dragon loving family remember?"

"Yeah," Zirconia grinned. "Wonder if she's ever seen a Razorwhip and a Night Fury together, though,"

Orion nodded. "I don't think she has. Oh gods, her face will be hilarious."

Zirconia laughed. "What about our sisters?" she asked, smiling.

Orion thought for a moment. "Whiplash would kill me. Avalanche would kill me. Everyone would kill me."

"I wouldn't," Zirconia replied. "I don't think Cindy or Lily would, or the other riders,"

Orion rolled his eyes. "Ok so most of the dragons would kill me. And lets add the dragon hunters that want to use my skull as hat."

"Well the dragons would probably be fine with it... or most anyway. And dragon hunters want everyone's head, or scales, or teeth, or... you get the idea," Zirconia countered.

Orion looked at Zir with a are you kidding me look. "That's true, but their not getting your scales or teeth when I'm around."

"Or yours," Zirconia smiled. "I might not be a special Night Fury, but I can still slice pretty well,"

Orion nuzzled her. "Your more special then all the night furies combined."

Zirconia turned her head around to Orion. "Well, I'm definitely unique. But with you as a Night Fury, I might not be that special," she smiled.
