SOftstar mewed "The Leap And Hold is the first move an apprentice all way s learns." Spiderpaw sat down.

Poppypaw listened

"This is only used on bigger cats." SOftstar emwed. "You jump onto the other cats back and scratch or bite them. If they roll over, you need to jump off. Or you will be flattened." she smiled. SPiderpaw nodded.

"like this?" Poppypaw asked, springing onto soaftstar's back

"Let me try!" Spiderpaw mewed, jumpping onto her mentor's bck. She bit Slilverlily's ears softly.

Silverlily started to roll over slowly

SPiderpaw jumped off.

Softstar rolled over.

Poppypaw jumped off and silverlily got back on her paws.

"Lets try one more time." Softstar mewed. "Okay!" Spiderpaw mewed, jumping onto her mentor.

Silverlily roled over again and Poppypaw pounced on Softstar

Softstar rolled over.

Spiderpaw jumpped off, landing well. She turned, smileing.

Poppypaw sprang off her mentor and landed on all four paws

"I think we should go back." Softstar mewed. Spiderpaw sighed.

"Okay" Silverlily said. "When cane we com eback?" Poppypaw mewed

"we might tomarow." softstar mewed. "yay!" spiderpaw purrec.

"Okay!" Poppypaw mewed.

"Lets go back," Silverlily said, heading towards the camp

Thrushfeather and Cloverpaw padded up the hill to the training hollow. Cloverpaw still seemed a little shaken from the happenings at camp, so Thrushfeather decided a relaxed swimming outing might be better than the battle training he had planned.
Cloverpaw splashed into the pool, ducking beneath the water. Thrushfeather sat on the pool edge, watching his apprentice bob in the water. "Use your paws to move you, Cloverpaw. Don't try to use your tail, it won't work." He watched as Cloverpaw put more effort into working her front paws. "Don't forget your back paws! Use them to propel you forward. They're stronger than your front paws, utilize them." Cloverpaw kicked out with her back legs.
Finally, she climbed out of the pool and shook her fur. "Can we go back to camp?"
"Sure. We'll hunt on the way." Thrushfeather padded out of the hollow with Cloverpaw following close behind.

"His is the training holloe." Softstar mewed, padding here.

Flameburst padded here. "This is the trianing hollow." he mewed.

"Cool," Jadepaw remarked, though she was less than impressed. Still, she took the time to sniff around before she decided that she knew the vicinity fairly well.

"We will learn to fight. here later though." Flameburst mewed "right now, wan to learn to swim?"

Jadepaw blinked with surprise. "Yeah!" she yelled, her tail high with joy. Any trace of boredom vanished as she launched up the hill and towards the pool. When Jadepaw reached the bank, she skidded to a halt inches from the water, and testing it with a paw.

Realizing the water was not too cold, she tentatively waded in until the water lapped at her belly.

Flameburst stood at the edge of the water. He looked in and closed his eyes. He sighed then opened then and stepped in. He narrowed his eyes, making it twords his apprentice. Where the water was on her belly it was just half way up his legs.

Flamepaw padded here..

CHeetahfur padded here.

"What first?" Flamepaw asked.

"First we can do the belly rake, since we never got to that the last time we practiced." Cheetahfur mewed. "So, try to pin me down and bellyrake me. "

Flamepaw nodded. He waited until his mentor looked destracted and pounced on Cheetahfur like prey, claws sheethed. He held cheetahfur down and raked his belly.

Nutpaw came here.

Mistyfeather came here with her apprentice.

"Now what?" Flamepaw asked.

"I think we should go back to camp." Cheetahfur said. "One of my scratches is starting to hurt."

"Okay, maybe you should get Skystream or Snowyfur to look at it when we get back." Flamepaw suggested.

Starypaw ran here, tripping over a rock on the way.

"Careful." Swiftwind said as he slowed down.

"I will." Starypaw purred. "Where are we?" she asked, looking around.

"The training hollow." he answered

"Cool." Starypaw purred. "What am I going to learn first? Hunting or fighting?"

"we can do either." Swftwind said. "Which do you want to do?"

"Hunting!" Starypaw purred.

"Okay." Swiftwind said. "We can go to the small ponds for that." He went there

Starypaw bounced along.

Starypaw ran here again.

Swiftwind followed behind her

"What do we learn first?" Starypaw asked.

"We can do leap and hold." Swiftwind said

"Okay." Starypaw mewed, nodding.
