EchoClan Flower Meadow

"Look over there!!!" he said pointing to a mouse.

"Can you get it, Cinderpaw?" Duskshade asked in a whisper, giving her a task to accomplish.

Dragonwing nodded in aproval.

Cinderpaw nodded and took a deep breath, then smoothly slid into the hunter's crouch, making sure to be as silent as possible. She then slithered across the grass, with snake-like movements, pouncing on the mouse and killing it with a swift bite to the neck.

ic: Dragonwing purred and nodded his aproval. He was pleased with her. "I can't wait for you to become a warrior!!!" he purred to her.

"Me too!" Cinderpaw purred back, blushing under her fur

ooc: when will she be a warrior?

ic: Dragonwing blushed too but no one could see it.

Ooc: GREAT!!!!!! Almost done with the science!!!!!!

"And you're well on your way to becoming one." Duskshade said, flicking her ear with his tail. "We should probably start heading back to camp."

"Agreed." he said stepping forward towards camp.

ooc: next rp in camp?

"Remember to grab the prey you buried," Duskshade  reminded Cinderpaw, scratching the dirt away from his as he spoke.

Dragonwing waited for Cinderpaw to finish and then headed for camp.

Cinderpaw nodded and quickly finished, then trotted back to camp

Smokepelt felt the warm grass beneath his pads, and enjoyed the warm day outside. He picked up the scent of shrew, but didn't care. He kept to his place and stretched out, laying in the wheat patch nearby and closed his eyes to listen to the humming of the wind.

Quickshatter padded into the field, happy he was out of the camp. Littlepelt followed him, sniffing for prey.
"Over there." Quickshatter flicked his ears to the direction of a piece of grass rustling around. Littlepelt went behind the grass and yowled into it. Two voles scattered from it, as Quickshatter caught one easily in his paws, Littlepelt charged after the other and swiftly killed it with a bite to the neck. The gray she-cat picked it up and trotted over to her brother.
"Whehs Hashalfight?" She mumbled through the vole.
Quickshatter twitched an ear. "What?" He asked as he scuffed soil over his fresh-kill.
Littlepelt dropped her vole to her paws. "Where's Hazelflight?" she repeated, burying her prey.
"She's on her way I bet. We did leave before her and run."
Littlepelt shrugged. "Okay, lets wait." She mewed as she began to lick her pads clean as Quickshatter lay down and napped.

IC: Hazelflight stepped onto the flowery meadow and took a sniff of fresh air. "Is it impossible for you two go a little slower?" she mewed, her sides heaving from running.

Smokepelt noticed the three warriors across the field. He padded towards them, greeting them with a swift flick of the tail. 
"Hey Quickshatter, Littlepelt, Hazelflight!" he called, quickly catching up to them. 
"What're you doing?" he dug up the soil and picked up the shrew he had at first not cared about but then easily hunted it down.

Ooc: WHOOPSI
Ic: Quickshatter shrugged. "Just hunting." He mewed, completely ignoring Hazelflight.
Littlepelt eyed Smokepelt, then turned back to Hazelflight. "Sorry, it's just, I get excited." She chuckled.

Smokepelt noticed the medicine cat heaving from trying to catch up with the two young, enthusiastic warriors. 
"Well, you two are an energetic bunch of warriors!" he mewed, chuckling slightly. 
"I can help hunt with you, if you'd like." he meowed politely, eyeing Hazelflight steadily from the distance.

Littlepelt purred. "Of course!"
Quickshatter twitched his ear and began sniffing for rabbits.

Hazelfight nodded and looked through the field. A small breeze ruffled the grass as she stepped across, looking for signs of life beneath the flower-covered meadow. She saw a patch twitch and froze, examining it, sniffing for prey. She could pick up vole scent and saw it twitch again, slightly more to the left. She stalked forward and pounced, feeling a small body crushed beneath her paw.

Smokepelt crawled through the grass. He immediately scented a rat, and leaped on it. He swiftly picked it up in his jaws and carried it back to the others. 
"I'll bury this over here for later." he informed his fellow Clanmates, quickly padding back over to hunt some more.

Hazelflight picked up the vole and set it down in an area with thicker flowers to retrieve later.

Smokepelt noticed a lapwing twitching on the floor; it's wing was broken and could not fly. He urged to kill it still, but he just couldn't. He ran up to it and, since it couldn't fly away in horror, just looked up and stared wide-eyed with terror. 
"Don't worry, little birdy. I'll help you." He started licking dry blood off the bird's wing, purring and hoping the others wouldn't notice and ruin his reputation.

Quickshatter was dashing after a nearby rabbit and disappeared into a chunk of wheat, then returned with the creature in his jaws.
Meanwhile, Littlepelt was stalking a field mouse. It noticed her and ran, she charged after it. She leaped into the area the mouse had ran and she ran into Smokepelt, pummeling over. The gray she-cat got up and saw the bird. She looked at Smokepelt and her gaze softened, then she left him to the bird.

OOC: Totally forgot about this.
BIC: Smokepelt licked the dried blood off the bird's wing, and she flew free. Smokepelt got up, stopping in horror when he saw Littlepelt looking straight at him.
"Erm..." he started, not knowing what to say.
He shook his head.
"Never mind.." he started walking away, shaking his head as if he'd just let his whole Clan down and was walking out of camp after being exiled.

Littlepelt looked after him. She padded next to him and purred. "That was sweet you know. My brother would've killed the poor thing."

Smokepelt shivered. He'd never received a hug before, not even from his own mother or father. Shrugging again, he wiggled away.
"Please don't tell anyone. They all think of me as the tough, strong "dude" that'll kill everyone and lead perfectly. I can't let them know I have a soft side." he meowed. "Please, Littlepelt. Keep this secret, for me."

Littlepelt chuckled, "Noooo, I will tell everyoooone!" She bumped into him playfully with her shoulder. "Of course Smokepelt, let's get back to camp."
Quickshatter realized Smokepelt and his sister where heading back, so he grabbed his prey and mewed to Hazelflight. "Well, I guess we're leaving..."

Hazelflight hopped and landed on a small serpent in the grass, then jumped back. "Ha, thought that was a mouse." she mewed, then turned to face the rest of the patrol. "So, we heading back?" she mewed?

Quckshatter huffed. "They are... wanna stay out longer?"


Littlepelt didn't look back to see if the others were following, what she had seen from Smokepelt was the sweetest thing she'd seen.

Mouseheart hesitated on the edge of the meadow to take in the wonderful scent of the flowers. This was one of her favourite places in the clan's territory. She looked around at Riverwind and gave him a bright smile, feeling truly happy in this place.

Riverwind smiled back at her before taking off into the field, laughing loudly. "Come on~!"

Mouseheart followed after him, giggling. One of her paws got caught in the tangles of the longer grass and flower stems, sending her tumbling.

Riverwind blinked and leaped after her, almost stumbling as well. "You okay?" he asked when she'd come to a halt.

She'd landed on her back, staring up at the sky. "U-um... yes." She felt a little bit dizzy and rolled over onto her belly. "The grass got me."

"I can see that." He smiled and lowered his head to help her up.

Mouseheart got up and shook out her fluffy pelt. A couple of flower petals fell from it. She looked at him, almost shyly. "Thank you."

He grinned and nuzzled her cheek. "You're welcome." he purred softly.

Mouseheart froze at the initial touch, but eased into it quickly. She moved closer to him, nuzzling against him and purred softly.

He suddenly pulled away from her, blue eyes glowing in the sunlight. "How about we go off and have some fun then yeah?" he asked with a dangerous smirk.

Mouseheart was surprised by his sudden movement away, feeling the loss of his warmth more than she should. "Fun...? What kind of fun?"

"Let's forget about the clan for a while and explore, we might even find something interesting~" he explained in a low, tantalizing voice.

Mouseheart frowned, her expression turning worried. "Riverwind, I hope you don't mean go into other clan's territory..."

"Even I wouldn't break the warrior code, but there's more than just Echoclan's and Stormclan's territory." he answered, turning to look out over the field.

Mouseheart felt a little reassured that he wouldn't go that far, but the whole idea still made her uneasy. "Alright then." She agreed.

He grinned and broke into a run, jumping over a few long tendrils so they didn't trip him. "Let's go then!" he shouted happily.

Mouseheart followed behind him, this time more carefully, also jumping and avoiding the things that could trip her. She did not want a repeat.
