Duskfur padded over to the kit with a short smile. "Didn't Silverleaf say we wouldn't harm you? Anyway cobwebs stop bleeding and can prevent infection. Bluefur's just helping you."

Silverstar blinked her eyes open. She was in a misted forest, where all sounds and scents were muffled. "Hello?" she called, wondering if SoulClan really had abandoned her. A muffled squeak came from behind her, and she looked around. A small brown tabby kit sat there. "You have lost two lives in this death." the kit mewed, his voice too old to be one of a kit's. "You have one life left. Use it wisely, as it may lead to disaster more than peace."
Silverstar hissed. "My Clan will die!" she growled. "I renounce all claim to SoulClan. May your souls rot in the deepest parts of DarkClan."
The kit dipped his head sadly, and Silverstar was swept into the mist, coming to gasping for breath in the dust.
