Birdfeather padded into the camp and dropped some fresh kill onto the pile and went to go sit down near the warrior den to groom her patched fur.

Beekit sat with her tail wrapped around her paws, staring at her sleeping mother, deciding on how to wake her up.

ic: Beekit turned and ran out of the nursery. "Poppydawn! Poppydawn!" She squeaked, bounding over to her aunt. "Can you tell my mommy to wake up and play with me? I think it would be good for her health." She said this very seriously, and Poppydawn twitched her whiskers in amusement.

Saffronflame sorted herbs in the medicine den, mumbling to herself the uses of the herbs as she threw out the stuff starting to go mouldy.

Sorrelkit tussled with Emeraldkit, the two oblivious as always.

Birdfeather looked down at Beekit and bent down to rasp her tongue between the kit's ears. "Let your mother rest. You can play with me, if you'd like!" She mewed with a purr.

Lilytail came into camp at a half run. She dropped some prey on the fresh kill pile then trotted over to her sisters. "Guys, guess what happened while i was hunting!"

Birdfeather rose to her paws and lifted her sleek tail into the air, dexterously wiggling it down at Beekit to keep the kit busy while she conversed with her sister. "What happened, Lilytail?"

"So i was chasing this squirrel up a tree." Lilytail started. "But then i missed a branch and i fell down, but i flipped over and landed on my paws. It was really cool." She said, grinning.
"Oh, Lilytail." Poppydawn fretted. "You didn't hurt yourself at all, did you?"

Just as Whisperspirit purred with relief, a loud crashing noise came from the direction of the old Camp. He jumped, and watched as one of the oldest trees in the forest fell, crashing just short of the Clan's new home. "Oh no..." he mumbled, then leaped on to their makeshift Leafrock. "All cats old enough to climb the Skytrees gather here for a Clan meeting!" he yowled, noting Musicstar was nowhere in sight.
Shadowmoon, having been startled completely awake, amended to the summons immediately.

Whisperspirit waited for the rest of the Clan to gather, then stood and flicked his tail. "We can't stay here any more." he decided. "We're starving, though I know nobody wants to admit it, and we need help."
Shadowmoon opened her mouth to reply, but thought better of it and relaxed.
"What can we do? We have nowhere else to go!" Saffronflame called from where she sat just outside the pitiful medicine den.
Whisperspirit sighed. "You're not going to like this, but we have to go to CloudClan. It's our only shot."

Rowanwhisker's gaze narrowed slightly. "Why Cloudclan? We can fend for ourselves!" he called out.
Silverleaf moved to stand at the bottom of the Leafrock. "Rowanwhisker, you know as well as anyone that that isn't true.... How many days has it been since you've had more than a scrawny mouse?" she asked, noticing that he quickly fell silent afterwards.

Shadowmoon flicked her tail. "I would rather neither," she called, glancing at her Clanmates. "It only makes sense to go to CloudClan. Viperstar-" she had to force the name out. "...Viperstar would probably be willing to house us."
