At that moment Phoenixkit exploded from nowhere, pushing Larkkit out of the way and saying, "No I got you! I win!" As she tried to pin him down her claw slid over his shoulder, creating a long scratch.

Owlkit didnt even see Pheonixkit coming and when she landed on him to try and pin him he felt his flesh being torn. The long scratch immediately started bleeding after the claw sliced him. It didnt even look like his sister knew she did anything so he said "Pheonixkit look what you did!"

"that didn't really sound like an apology." Larkkit poked at her, and didn't flinch at the dirty look Phoenixkit shot at her.

Ryekit fluffed his fur out. "Maybe you should go see Sundapple," he said, pointing with his tail tot he medicine den.

Owlkit rolled his eyes at Pheonixkit before turning to Ryekit and saying "I think I'll be okay." He didnt want to sound weak

"Yeah, exactly." Ryekit said. He padded ahead of them to the medicine den where he sat down and waited for them to head over.

Owlkit followed Ryekit to the entrance of the medicine den and without waiting for anyone else he called out "Sundapple!" in a slightly squeaky voice.

Sundapple pricked her ears as she came out of the herbs store, and look down at Owlkit. "Owlkit? What's wrong?" she asked, concerned.

"My siblings and I were playing and this happened." Owlkit said before showing Sundapple the long bleeding scratch that Pheonixkit gave him

"Oh, ouch." Sundapple said sympathetically. "You kits need to remember to keep your claws sheathed," She scolded gently. She chewed up a little portion of marigold and began to apply it to the scratch. "This might sting a tiny bit, but it'll make sure it doesn't get infected," she gently rubbed the herb onto the scratch.

"I'm sure it was," Sundapple assured him. "You're siblings wouldn't hurt you on purpose." she finished up covering the wound and said, "Okay. you're good to go, just try not to rub it against anything, okay?"

Wingkit ran out the nursery. "Hewo." she mewed shyly. Then she spotted Owlkit coming out the medicine den and squeaked, and ran over to her brother. "Awe wu okay?!" she mewed.

Larkkit rolled her eyes and scoffed, causing Ryekit to make a face at her when she wasn't looking.

Littlefern carefully sorted the herbs in the medicine den to appease her mentor. She took her time with the task, taking care to sort them into neat little piles. She was confident she knew what each was, on top of knowing what they were used for.

Grayleaf snoozed in the Warrior den. His massive size took up his entire nest, with his tail spilling carelessly on the floor in front of it.

"Really?!" Wingkit mewed. "Can't we just become apprentices now!" She rolled her eyes and sat down, bored. Then the she-kit jumped onto Owlkit, claws sheathed. Wingkit battered his head, playing.

Spiderkit overheard the other kits from where he sat by the nursery. He flicked his ears but didn't say anything.

"Hey guys!" Cypresskit bounded over, cheery as ever. "Whatcha you talking about?"

Dappletail lay in the nursery, taking a nap. She didn't know why she was so exhausted, but as soon as her kits had been fed she fell straight to sleep.

Brackenpaw limped into the medicine den with cobwebs covering his front paw and a bunch of horsetail and watermint in his jaws. He spotted Littlefern and padded over to, gently setting the herbs down.
Cynderpaw huffed, flicking her fluffy tail. She wished her mentor was awake so she could do some training or something.

Summerkit looked around for Pheonixkit. They have a special bond because their personalities are so similar. Summerkit has learned some of it from Pheonixkit and now it just kind of stuck with her. "Pheonixkit!" she said.

Owlkit sat with his siblings boredly. He wanted something to do that all the kits could enjoy

"I'm right here, fishbrain," Phoenixkit said with a bit of sarcasm, but quickly bounded up to Summerkit and stood next to her.

Larkkit grinned at Cypresskit as the she kit trotted over. "Think fast!" She said and leaped at her friend a second later, leaving Cypresskit to yelp in surprise as she was tackled.

Larkkit immediately tried to get away, all the while pinning Cypresskit to the ground.
Cypresskit slyly tripped Larkkit using her back leg, and giggled when she let out a "hey!" as she fell over.
"Got you!" She exclaimed, sharing a grin with Wingkit.

Ryekit laughed out loud suddenly at something, and Cypresskit looked at him with a frown. She let Larkkit up.
"what?" Larkkit asked, confused.
"Oh, nothing," Ryekit said quickly,covering for himself and Phoenixkit shot a glance at him from the other side of the play fight.
"Whatever," Cypresskit shurgged

What Ryekit had laughed at was Phoenixkit behind them, who had just whispered something to Summerkit and then mimicked Larkkit falling over.

Spiderkit debated for a moment, and then decided to join Summerkit and Phoenixkit where they were standing. "Hey." He simply said, looking a bit bored.

Wingkit purred at Cypresskit's growl. "Never!" she mewed, half purring. The kit bumped Cypresskit off, and rolled over, batting at Cypresskit's face. "Haha!" she purred.

Ryekit glanced at her, pretending to think about it and then charged over to her sister and pounced on her.

Larkkit purred, watching the fight. "Keep going!" She mewed, "This is entertaining!"

"I know what we could do," Phoenixkit said, glancing at Spiderkit who just gave her an indifferent look.

"What, sneaking out of camp?" Spiderkit mewed skeptically.
Phoenixkit nodded. "Want to?" She glanced from Spiderkit to Summerkit.

"Right." Phoenixkit said, jumping up. "you coming, Spiderkit? Or are you too scared?"
"Am not," Spiderkit said defensively. "I'm coming."
Phoenixkit glanced around, and then padded over by the entrance as if she wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. Then when no one was looking, she quickly dove into the bushes just outside the camp.
