Foxcall bounded out of the warrior den, wedging himself between Mouseheart and Riverwind. His back to Riverwind, he inspected Mouseheart's pelt. "Where have you been? Did he hurt you?"

Mouseheart sighed. "No, Foxcall, please-"

Foxcall nudged her away. "Good."

Riverwind growled and quickly pushed Mouseheart behind him, jealousy taking over. "Shove off flea-pelt." he snarled, leading the she-cat away with his head held high.

Foxcall went to hiss and attack, but Mouseheart motioned with her tail for him to stay back. He stayed, glaring.

Mouseheart looked at Riverwind. She couldn't say she wasn't pleased by his reaction, but... it was necessary to call her brother that. Nevertheless, she knew Foxcall's reactions were uncalled for.

The tom sighed and shook his head. "Sorry about that." he muttered, as if reading her thoughts.
Briarspirit looked at the pair and blinked in surprise, turning to Foxcall with a confused glance.

Foxcall returned the look to Briarspirit, though his eyes showed a lot more fury than confusion.

Mouseheart shook her head and gently bumped against him affectionately. "No, it's okay... He has to learn."

Briarspirit slowly padded over to him. "What was that about... if I may ask." she meowed. Even if she was confident, his anger frightened her.
He nodded and padded toward the fresh-kill pile.

Littlepelt wandered around camp, bored out of her mind. She spotted the warriors and bounded towards them.
"Watcha doin'?" She mewed, nosy as usual.

Foxcall's pelt stood on ends, his green eyes blazing. Instead of answering her question, he began to speak his mind. "If he hurts her... I will kill him."

Foxcall didn't reply. He sat there, glaring in Mouseheart's and Riverwind's direction, obviously not believing what she'd said.

Mouseheart threw a glance over his shoulder, immediately wishing she didn't when she met her brother's fiery gaze. If looks could kill... She thought to herself as she followed Riverwind.

Dovepaw padded out the medicine cat den, noticing her siblings were still asleep. Lazy. she thought. Then she looked around the camp, bored. As her belly rumbled, she grabbed a mouse from the fresh kill pile, and nibbled at it.

"Both." Dovepaw mewed, finishing her mouse. She licked her lips and yawned. "Nothing has happened recently, but I am glad... I just wish something would happen..." she mewed, drifting off into her own little world.

"Ya, well, I sort of did." she laughed, trying to dissipate all the worse memories involved there. "It was chaotic to say the least, everyone involved was injured in some way, over half of them badly. After everyone was treated, I passed out and slept for a day straight."
