Duskstar spontaniously combusts, making leafkit a cat torch and killing everyone around him in a firery death

Duskstar purred loudly as leafkit jumped on him, then Heartkit joined in too,
ok ok kits, why dont you go to the elders den to hear some stories

Heartkit replies 'YES they have great stories about the clan!'

(do we even have elders in this clan?!)

in: Willowlight purred watching the kits. She turned to her kits "You can go to. Let me and Duskstar talk for a little." Ivykit mewed "Okay! Come on Jaykit!" she ran out of the den with Jaykit behind her.

Bouncefire went to sleep tired.

Dawnpool padded over to the freshkill pile and grabbed a mouse. She took it over to the nursery, left it outside for Willowlight, and went and grabbed another mouse for herself to eat.

Gracepaw looked at Brightfire. "are we going to the Mooncave tonight?" she repeated.

Grayshine and Winterblossom padded into the camp, one with a pile of dock and the other with two bundles of moss.

Tawnyflight yawned as he walked out of the warriors den, and Copperheart followed him, also yawning tiredly.

Brightfire mewed "No I am tired" then fell asleep.

Willowlight sat there.

Ivykit got sneezed on by Jaykit. Then he coughed a few times. "You okay?" she asked him. Not waiting for an answer she starts to push him into the medicine cat den because she knows that he gets sick easily and because he is so small he could die. "That is it you sre going!" she mewed to him. "What? Okay Okay! I am going." Jaykit mewed to his sister.

Gracepaw rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Okay then sleepyhead. I suppose i'll take care of Jaykit and Ivykit then." she turned around to the kits. "What's the matter, Jaykit? Oh, thanks Winterblossom, thats very helpful. Just put the dock over there." Winterblossom nodded and put the huge dock leaves in the corner where Gracepaw had pointed at with her tail.

Grayshine took the moss into the warriors den, and then put some more in the elders den.

Gracepaw frowned. "I think you have whitecough, Jaykit. Go and lie down on some moss, and i'll get some lavender for you." she padded away into the herb store and cam back a moment later with a little lavender. "Have either of you noticed Grayshine? I think she's expecting kits," Gracepaw gossiped.

Gracepaw looked at Ivykit. "Yes, soon. But you might be apprentices by then, although you did escape from the camp...Jaykit! Eat the lavender, or you wont get better! You do want to meet your new denmates right?" she said. "Or do you want some honey to go with the lavender?"

Jaykit sneezed on his herbs that hi licked. Ivykit watched with a face that looks like pale

all mixed together as she watched his brother. She slowly backed out of the den and ran for the nursery.

Gracepaw sighed. "Jaykit. Eat, please. How will you grow up big and strong? They dont taste bad anyway!" she complained.

Dawnpool gnawed on her mouse.

Grayshine fixed up the moss in the elders den, and sighed as she picked out the 3rd thorn she had found. "Huh. Moon-high patrols and moss-collecting do not mix." she said cheekily.
Winterblossom rolled her eyes and giggled as she heard her little sister talking to herself in the warriors den again. What Winterblossom didnt hear as she was padding away was "I wish i could see Ash again. He'd be pleased to know that he has kin on the way..."

Tawnyflight and Copperheart tussled in the corner of the camp, practicing a tricky move that they had only just picked up.

Jaykit ate his herbs then sighed not happy.

Ivykit ran into the nursery. "Willowlight Jaykit is in the medicine cat den. he was coughing and sneezing so I made him go there." she told her mother. Willowlight got up and padded out of the den heading for the medicine cat den with out a word.

Bouncepaw padded into the camp with a fat mouse in his jaws. The deputy came in behind him with two smaller mice that Bouncepaw caught.

and there are supposed to be two medicine cats per Clan, so that works! Yay

Bouncefire padded over to Willowlight and her kit. "Were is Jaykit?" he asked. "In the medicine cat den. He might be sick." Willowlight mewed to him. She looked over to the medicine cat den. "I could watch Ivykit if you want to go and check on him" Bouncefire said to the kit mother. She nodded and without a word padded into the medicine cat den. Boucefire turned to Ivykit. "Want to learn the hunting crouch?" he asked the kit. "Sure!" Ivykit replied.

Winterblossom looked around for her sister, noticing she had been dissapearing a lot lately. Especially since she's realised she's been expecting kits... the shecat thought darkly. She got up, stretched and padded out of the camp, quoting to nobody in particular "I'm going hunting if anyone needs me..."

Graceheart looked at Brightfire. "So? If Jaykit has greencough, what can we do?" she asked. "oh, hello Willowlight..."

Leafkit wondered where her father was. "Duskstar?" she mewed, paddding into the leader's den.

Ivykit and Bouncefire played around in the middle of the camp.

Copperheart looked at his leader, and all sense abandoned him. He swiped Duskstar's muzzle with his unsheathed claws, drawing blood. He then backed away, eyes narrowed viciously.

Briarleaf's brown and black dappled pelt shimmered through the trees, and sat beside Duskstar. "What have you done..." she murmured, shaking her head. "I trusted you to be sensible and raise our kits with love, but you have just scarred them for life. Oh Duskstar....you have a few lives left. PLease use them wisely.." she said.

You're a great leader, and when help is needed, we will give it to you. Just promise me one thing....that you'll look after out kits," she said, winding her star-flecked body around Duskstar's. "They will need to know who their father is. And their mother..."

Willowlight ran out of the med. cat den. "Into the nursery!" She mewed picking up Ivykit by the scruff. She ran into the nursery set her kit down and looked out of the den with wide eyes. Ivykti knew something was wrong and stayed in side the den not daring to look out. She sat there wide eyed listening to all the sounds comeing from out side.

Brightfire looked at the sick kit who was starting to stand up. "No stay in here" he mewed calmly and then raced out of the den as the kit sat back down "okay" Jaykit mewed softly. "Graceheart grab the herbs!" he mewed running over to Copperheart (?) who was clearly dead.

Bouncefire looked at his leader and his clan mate die with wide eyes filled with sadness, shock, and hate at the same time.
