ic: Duskstar moaned... and opend his eyes.... in the fireclan camp
'wha?!' he muttered, 'oh' he growled

He sat up and stared menacingly at the cats gathered around him, he hissed as he saw copperheart's dead body and then he focused on tawnyflight....
'soo, you traitors....' he growled

'You are no longer members of my clan, but you are prisoners.., Bluepool my deputy, i can trust you...... take these cats the the corner of the camp.... things are changing here....' he said

Ravenfeather looked at his leader... 'oh no!' he thought

Leafkit sobbed in her nest. Not even Heartkit could cheer her up now...

Tawnyflight's ears laid back as Duskstar stared at him with that crazy glint in his eyes. "S-sorry, Duskstar," he apoligised, looking at the ground.

Graceheart looked at Brightfire. "Copperheart's dead," she said gently. "He's with Soulclan now.." she murmured.

Dawnpool licked Tawnyflight's shoulder comfortingly.

Briarleaf sighed, her eyes glistening with tears. "Oh Duskstar! What have you done?!" she sobbed. Copperheart padded up to his Clanmate, and sighed gently. "Duskstar has to be stopped," he said firmly. Briarleaf nodded, not even wanting to think about how he could be stopped.

Tawnyflight and Dawnpool put themselves in front of Willowlight and the kits. Leafkit peered out from behind Tawnyflight, and spat at her father. "I hate you!" she screeched. Dawnpool licked the kit's shoulder.

Graceheart padded over to Duskstar. "Let me bury Copperheart at least," she said. Warriors and leaders can never answer back to a medicine cat, she thought smugly.

Duskstar nodds in approval of his deputy,
Then he talks to the clan,

'You are all traitors, and so you will be treated like traitors!' he said
'if you dont do what i say, you will die!' he added

'you were evil cats sent by soulclan to destroy me, i will not let that happen'
'And now, i will break their precious code and rule the forest itself'
he said triumphantly.

Graceheart narrowed her eyes. "You dare threaten a medicine cat?!" she screeched. "I'll go bury him myself!" she said, picking up Copperheart's limp body and dragging him out of the camp.

Tawnyflight looked sadly at his brother as Graceheart delecately carried him past, and he let a single teardrop fall onto the dusty floor. Dawnpool bowed her head, and closed her eyes in grief for the fallen warrior, and what her great leader had become.

Graceheart whipped around to look at her lea- no, not her leader. Evil, corrupted Duskstar. "I'd rather be chased from the territory than be under your rule, you foul piece of foxdung!" she spat. "At least in another Clan, medicine cats and fallen warriors will get the respect they deserve!" Graceheart padded out of the camp, and into the forest, dragging Copperheart with her.

Dawnpool looked at the sick kit, and sighed. "Now im no medicine cat, but i didnt listen to Graceheart yaking away like a squirrel when we were 'paws for nothing! Come here, Jaykit. You should really be sleeping," the warrior said, wriggling over a bit for Jaykit to squeeze in with Leafkit, Heartkit and Ivykit.

Tawnyflight watched Dawnpool with a sparkle in his eyes.

Leafkit sighed, and yawned in her sleep.

Jaykit padded over and sat down. "Wha- what happened?" he mewed smelling all the cats in the clan here. All but a few cats.... Ivykit was falling asleep. Willowlight looked at all the kits and sighed. Bouncefire sat behind all the kits he looked around ready for battle. Brightfire was in a corner of the group.

Dawnpool decided not to worry the little kit. "Dont worry. Duskstar's just sent the other cats on a holiday," she said comfortingly. A smile tugged at Tawnyflight's lips, but his mood was still meloncholy.

Leafkit slept, unaware that her father was a murdering tyrant.

Jaykit sneezed not convinced. He narrowed his eyes. Ivykit next to him wanted to play, she pounced onto her mothers tail. "Not now Ivykit." Willowlight mewed and looked at the camp entrance. Ivykit flattened her ears and squeezed father into the middle of the crowd.

Twistedheart entered the Camp. She had been out and returned with a mice between her fangs, dropping it on the freshkillpile. While she was out the night had come and stars were up at the sky. Somewhere out ther in the silverfließ there were elders watching over them. "Good that they are so high above, so that they can see almost everything", she thought.

Something odd was going around camp since she left early in the morning to control the borders and hunt a little. The cats seemed a little scared and replaced so she decided to follow the warning of Willowlight and laid down next to her: "What is going on here?"

Leafkit's green eyes blinked open gently. "Oh, hello Twistedheart." she yawned, the rolled over to fall back asleep.

Dawnpool looked up at Willowlight and Twistedheart. "I feel so sorry about these two. Poor Briarleaf died while she was kitting them..." she murmured sadly to the warrior. Tawnyflight gasped. "Maybe that's what it is! Duskstar has gone mad with grief over Briarleaf...." Dawnpool frowned. "But how will that help us?"

Leafkit snuggled into Twistedheart's warm fur, purring, not realising that the feelings inside her were ones that she would have gotten from Briarleaf if she were still alive.

Tawnyflight nodded, then frowned. "But how? How will we show that to Duskstar? It's not like we can threaten to kill the kits or something," he said jokingly. Dawnpool rolled her eyes, and snapped her head around suddenly. "What was that...?" she mewed slowly. A smallish brown shecat with black dappled fur padded out of the camp border, her fur aglow with starlight. "I believe I can help here," Briarleaf said.

Briarleaf let out a purr of laughter. "We can help where we choose. I decided to come back and help because of Duskstar, and the fact that i never met my own kits. Well, they were too smal lto remember me anyway. Now, does anyone have any ideas about what we should do?"

Dawnpool shook her head, careful not to wake Jaykit, Ivykit or Heartkit.

Tawnyflight hadnt noticed that Briarleaf had come back, and was still in his own little world.

Graceheart padded in through the camp entrance casually, and slipped into the medicine den.

"Not really, we might not know him so well. Only suggestion was to put the kits in danger, but this was only a bad joke. Someone who'd like to do something to them, first has to mess with me", she said letting her eyes wander over the litter, "But we could hide them, and predend something happend."

Willowlight watched the kits mother. She did not know what to do. Brightfire was on his paws thinking. "What would make them in danger?" he thought out loud. Bouncefire was snoring beside him. Jaykit sneezed feeling even worse. Ivykit rubbed on her brother as she woke up trying to keep him warm. She looked around sleepy until she saw the starclan cat. "Wha-?" she started Willowlight pulled her kit to her. "Shh. Don't wake your brother." She nodded and looked at every cat.

Jaykit sneezed two times and fell silent. Willowlight quickly looked at him the froze. She sniffed him. "Jaykit?" she wanted him to wake up and say he was fine. He did not. "Jaykit!" she yelled. Brightfire ran over and looked at the kit. He tried rubbing him the wrong way and a few different things but Jaykit would not come back. Ivykit was frozen in place. She shivered and closed her eyes. Bouncefire was awake now. He looked at the dead kit. "Duskstar did this!" Willowlight yelled.

Gently she pulled heartkit over to leafkit, so that she could leave them alone for a little and walk over to Ivykit. Softly licking her between the ears. This is pain they're not supposed to feel so early. She grabbed Ivykit at her neck, taking her to the other two kits and have them wrapped with ther tail. Warming them with her Body she thought about what to do. I can't fight him, but for the clans sake, someon should bring him back like he was befor, or we all gonna die. Ain't I live to protect this clan?

Briarleaf looked at the sky. "The sun will be up soon. I cant stay. But i will be back soon, i promise." she said, slowly fading away till she was just a splash of moonlight, sprinkled with stars.

Leafkit woke with a start. "What's the matter with Jaykit?" she mewed curiously.

Dawnpool fell asleep. Tawnyflight curled himself around the younger warrior, barely out of her aprentice days.
