Thornsplash quickly stepped off of Spottedface after she ceased her struggling to be released.

Spottedface sprang to her paws, her fur ruffled up, making her look larger, but also quite frightened.

Silvertalon whimpered on instinct, "Get off me!" She shouted again, managing to squirm out of Rubblewind's grip and roll away. "Hah! Slippery fish brains!"

Rubblewind huffed. "Sandstar never promised any alliances. And it doesn't give you permission to walk on to our territory like this!"
Lynxfang rolled his eyes. "Would you rather we sat in DuskClan's territory and got ourselves killed? And what we have for Sandstar is only his business," he added, glancing at Spottedface with a narrowed gaze.

Thornsplash flicked her tail, "Just bring us to your leader. It's important, and directly from Dapplestar." She growled, casting a glare at Spottedface.

Spottedface quickly turned to Rubblewind and flicked her tail at the Frostclan patrol, "Hey, maybe we should just escort them? Who knows, they could end up stuck and guarded in our camp-better then sending them off." She meowed lowly.

Thornsplash lashed her tail impatiently, waiting for the two to make a decision, "Who knew Waterclan cats were so stubborn?" She muttered to Lynxfang and Silvertalon.

Silvertalon shrugged, "I dunno, wouldn't we be doing the same thing?" She replied, tilting her head.

Rubblewind hummed and turned back. "All right, we'll take you to camp. No funny business, and I hope you don't mind water," he flicked his tail in amusement, wading back into the stream to cross it.

Lynxfang glanced at the other two. "I told you."

Thornsplash only flattened her ears in defiance and flicked her tail, padding ahead of her patrol and up to the front.

Silvertalon hesitated as she dipped her paw into the stream and pluck it back out, noticing how cold it was. She quickly glanced around warily and plummeted into the stream, wading through after Thornsplash's glare.

IC: Snailnose trotted cheerily along the border, stepping cautiously into the chilly water. The swift stream was moving too fast for ice to form all the way.
Carrotspots snorted at her sister's silliness as she rubbed her pelt against a tree.

Seashell padded into the clearing, the wind blowing through her pelt. She waded into the cold water behind Snailnose with a shudder. She jumped out and shook the water out of her fur. "Agh!" she shrieked. "It's freezing!" she began to rub herself against the trunk of a tree, which was also helping her warm herself up.
OOC: Sky is supposed to be on the Skytrees patrol as well but she's basically ignoring it lol

Turtlestone shivered as he was slightly splashed with the freezing droplets of water by accident. He quickly looked around, trying to make out what to do in order to be useful in the patrol. I'm never useful though, I can't even step in this water. If I stayed in Brightclan.... no, then I would have been a rogue with Perilpaw-Peril. He thought while slightly rubbing his scent on a boulder near the water.

Shadowblaze trotted up to the border, trying to get away from the scent of the rotting crow, and spotted the WaterClan cats on the other side. She froze.

Littleflower flicked her tail, absentmindedly stumbling across the melting snow. She nearly knocked over Shadowblaze, but was stopped by the stronger scent of WaterClan. Looking up, she saw they had brought out a patrol to their border as well.

Seashell prodded Snailnose, pointing with her nose towards the DuskClan patrol.

Snailnose turned to see the DuskClan patrol, flattening her ears. She trotted to Carrotspots. "Should we chase them off?" she hissed.
Carrotspots glared at the DuskClan patrol and nodded briskly. She waltzed towards the DuskClan cats, ears shoved forward.

Shadowblaze saw the patrol approaching them and yelped.

Littleflower turned to face the WaterClan patrol. She held her tail high and bent the tip, instructing for her patrol to be quiet. "What are you doing?" she snarled to Carrotspots.

Carrotspots stepped back, affronted by accusation.
Snailnose trotted towards the DuskClan patrol. "Why would we want to hunt on your land?" she asked in a hostile tone.

Turtlestone stood quietly from behind his patrol, hoping to not interfere,his fur bristling in fear and anxiety, This doesn't seem safe, what are they doing? What if they attack us, fox-dung this isn't good! He panicked, every inch of him wanting to turn around and run back to camp into his nest.

Littleflower took a deep breath. Every inch of her body wanted to leap at this nosy WaterClan cat and rip her to shreds. She simply ignored Carrotspots and began to walk back to the Skytrees with her patrol.

IC: Salmonpelt led his patrol along the border, keeping his ears pricked and eyes wide. He stopped to scent the air and thankfully only smelled the other WaterClan cats with him. He turned around and nodded. "Alright, it seems pretty calm, so we can mark our side and then hunt." he stated.

Turtlesplash looked down at the water lapping at her paws and sighed. "I-I'm not sure myself anymore. Any stolen moments between us are about patrols or his shortcomings as a leader. Feathercloud's kits will think more of him as a father than my own do! I just-I just don't know what to think." she ranted.
