BrightClan Camp

Petrelflight jerked away and sobbed. "I can do it on my own.." she grumbled, eyes watering.

Sootfur trotted into camp with some prey. He looked at the other cats and placed the prey into the prey pile before walking into the Warrior Den.

OOC: Please don't tell me I have to change her name............

Whitefeather looked at all of her kits and smiled at Snowkit opening her eyes.

Snowkit looked around and saw her mother next to her. She stared into her dark blue eyes

Sootfur woke up and walked out of the warrior den. He grabbed a bit of fresh kill and started to eat.

Blizzardkit shivered then let out a thin, loud wail. I feel horrible! What is wrong with me!? Blizzardkit pleaded

Sootfur looked up and walked into the nursery. "What's wrong? I heard wailing?"

"Blizzardkit is sick and none of the medicine cats have come to help her!" Whitefeather wailed sadly

Sootfur looked at Blizzardkit. "What are her symptoms?"

"Coughing, rasping breathing, runny noses" Whitefeather explained

Blizzardkit wailed again

Sootfur nodded thinking. Rasping breath and cough... Coltsfoot! I know because I was once a med cat app. He ran over to the medicine cat's den and snuck in and took some coltsfoot. He came back and passed it to Whitefeather. "Make her eat this. I'll will help with the cough and rasping breath."

"Blizzardkit eat this" Whitefeather mewed.

Blizzardkit Coughed again and mewled, not eating

Sootfur ran back to the medicine den and grabbed some honey. He carefully put honey on the coltsfoot and fed it to Blizzardkit. "Eat it please! It will help you!"

Blizzardkit tried it and coughed. This is disgusting! Are they trying to kill me?

"Come on young one! This will help you. Just try it." He nudged a bit more towards the kits mouth. "After, you can come and play at the prey pile?"

OOC it's night and she hasn't opened her eyes yet


IC Blizzardkit kept her mouth sealed, not wanting the disgusting herb

"Come on little one!" Sootfur opened her mouth and put the herb in and closed it. He held her mouth closed with one paw. "Swallow!"

Blizzardkit spit out the herb and wailed loudly.



Icebreeze shifted in her nest Who keeps Wailing??

Sootfur looked at the kit. He tried to pu the herb in the kits mouth and then he put a bit of chervil in her mouth too. "Come on kit!"

OOC is he killing her?

IC Blizzardkit spit it out again. Then she buried her face in the moss so the bigger cats couldn't reach her mouth


"Blizzardkit......" Whitefeather whimpered

OOC: He isn't


Sootfur looked over at whitefeather. Milk! If we could make the her taste like milk then she will eat it! "can you make these herbs taste like milk?"

"Not unless Blizzardkit suckled right after she eats them. You could coat it with mouse?" Whitefeather mewed

He nodded and ran out, grabbing the mouse he had started eating and coated the herbs in it and offered it to Blizzardkit.

Blizzardkit licked the herb and suddenly warm, sweet tastes filled her mouth. It was better than Whitefeather's milk. She then bit into the tasty herb

Sootfur heaved a sigh of relief and looked at Blizzardkit. "That should stop her coughing and harsh breath, but I suggest keeping her warm and bringing her to a proper medicine cat."

"Okay." Whitefeather mewed. "Will you bring over Icebreeze?" She added


Blizzardkit suckled on Whitefeather

Sootfur nodded and walked over to Icebreeze. "Whitefeather wants you."

"Huh?" Icebreeze stammered. "Say what now?"

Sootfur nodded to the Queen. "Whitefeather wants you!"

OOC Icebreeze is a warrior in the warriors den


IC "My mother wants me?" Icebreeze asked.

He nods. "yes... I'm going to go eat. Go talk to Whitefeather."

OOC Eating at me midnight ?

"Okay." Icebreeze mewed and walked to the nursery

OOC: Yep!

Sootfur sat down with a finch. He started to eat.

Icebreeze blinked at Sootfur and blushed a bit before walking towards Whitefeather's den

OOC: Uhmm, guys, this kind of escalated quickly. You couldn't have at least waited for a REAL medicine cat to join the roleplay? 

Iceheart finally gave out, his paws trembling as he shut his eyes and drifted off to sleep. He was washed with dreams of his younger moons, and he suddenly felt as if he was really that age again. The oh-so familiar scent of his mother and mentor washed over his scent glands, as if he was really seeing them again. He was a young apprentice, running around and hopping excitedly. They were plainer times, after DuskClan's recovery of the bird song trees and before the eruption and chaos amid the Clan's territories. Instantly Iceheart's dream changed into a nightmare, and he was an older apprentice watching his parents getting washed away by the tsunami in horror. Then, his mentor, and his old kit friend.. Iceheart jerked his head up, blinking his eyes open. He sighed gravely and rested his body back again, drifting into slumber once again.

Sootfern looked at her precious kit, Dawnkit. Dawnkit was 2 moons old and she was still awake, tossing a moss ball in the air.


Dawnkit tossed the ball up in the air again and again

"You got you paws full with that one" Whitefeather mewed tto Sootfern, letting her kits suckle at her belly

ic: Lightningkit wailed and looked around blindly. He smelt Dawnkit and started scrambling towards the scent. hmm whose that? I haven't scented that smell before!


Ivykti opened her small pink mouth wide in a yawn. She then kneaded the moss and curled up at the belly of her mother and fell asleep.

"I got it!" Snowkit mewed and raced to the dark green ball. She knocked it out of the air

"kits, always full of energy" Whitefeather grumbled

OOCL The kits should be opening their eyes by now

"I'll get it first!" Dawnkit mewed and grabbed the ball in her teeth


"You are right about that!" Sootfern mewed with a loud sigh

As Lightningkit struggled towards the older kit he stumble and fell on the ground, hitting his nose. He squeaked and rubbed his nose and pain. He then shook his head and crawled towards her again. He squeaked in surprise as he bumped into her. He backed away a little as he saw bright light shining towards him. He looked past Dawnkit and saw a bright yellow thing in the sky. woah! I can.. what is it.. I can.. Can.. See? Yes that seems right. I can see everything! He thought as he looked around the den in awe then fixed his gaze on Dawnkit. He looked the older kit up and down then tilted his head as if saying hello.

"Lightningkit!" Snowkit mewed and ran up to nuzzle her brother. "You okay?" She asked

Lightingkit turned his head and looked at Snowkit. Why would she call me lightnignkit? is that my name? He thought, confused.  " Li..Lightnigkit?" He repeated, staring at her.

"Thats you silly!" Snowkit mewed, giving her broter a flick on the nose

" me?" Lightningkit meowed blankly. " me. Lightningkit, are ok." He answered. " You? You are?" He meowed with a tilted head.

ooc I'm gonna make Lightingkit have problems talking for the first moon of his life.

ic: Ivykit was awoke by Snowkit and Dawnkit's playing. She turned to her mom. " Momma! Where siblings go?" She asked as she looked around confused as to where the little bodies that keep her warm went.

Sootfur finished his food. He then sat up and started grooming his mattered fur.

"Dawnkit!" Sottfern said to her kit. "It's time to sleep now. You can play in the morning" Sootfern soothed


"Okay Sootfern" Dawnkit siged and plopped herself on the ground next to her mother. falling into sleep

Snowkit opened her eyes to see daylight cracking through the nursery walls. Today, she was going to explore the clan

Phoenixmoon squinted her amber eyes in the gloom of the medicine den, getting to her paws and padding into the center of the camp. "Those mouse-brains better not get themselves killed," she mumbled, seeing the raiding party hadn't returned.

Moonpaw padded in BrightClan territory with a smile on her face.
