Suntail glanced over at his friend, nodding his head slightly. " I planned to." He meowed, his voice not showing the fear he himself had as well. " are you?" He glanced over her, worried by the shakiness of her voice.

"Yes, i mean, It would be a bad example to not go, if you know what I mean." She said quickly, her voice quavering and taut with distress.

Suntail frowned slightly, concern flashing in his eyes. " Someone has to stay here and protect the camp, you wouldn't set a bad example by staying to protect the kits. Besides, you shouldn't have to be an model of what a warrior needs to be, let the leaders do that." He said to her, his voice softer then the usual, serious tone.

Snowclaw, getting tired of pacing and worrying now, looked for her clan’s deputies. She wanted to know if she was needed to fight or to stay back. Spotting Sparkfeather, she trotted over to her. “Sparkfeather, since i can’t find Redstar and, i don’t want to take orders from a leader of another clan, would you like me to stay in camp or go out and fight?” She asked the deputy, her fur prickling with anticipation.

Sparkfwather smiled softly. “You are young and strong, so I believe it’d be best you come fight with us.” She said warmly.

Snowclaw nodded, beaming at the chance to fight more rogues. “Thank you.” She said to her deputy, dipping her head before going off to find Sunburst.

Suntail touched his nose softly to her cheek, purring soothingly. " I'll be fine. Nothing's going to happen to me, I promise." He paused, his eyes glowing. " I'm too good for the rogues to lay a claw on me in the first place." He joked, flicking his tail.

Starmask, seeing Snowclaw ask Sparkfeather if she should go on the battle patrol, stood and lashed her tail. She padded over to where the Fireclan deputy was standing. "I can go as well."
