Snowclaw hissed in irritation and growled, her blood suddenly boiling as she leapt at Lapu. Her unsheathed claws were outstretched for his neck, her bright orange flashing amongst the other cats.

Violetgaze growled when her cheek is scratched, leaping onto Caramel and tumbling with her while she bit and scratched at her.

Crone advanced on the older tom, unsheathing black claws and baring his teeth. "Time to meet SoulClan, kitty," he snarled and leaped at him.

Caramel hissed in pain and lay down, her sides heaving. “You’re going to kill me, aren’t you?” She said weakly. “Go ahead, life has been nothing but a pain anyways.” She said, not really wishing death upon herself

Snowclaw growled in Lapu’s face as her claws met his neck, gripping the fur and pinning him to the ground. “Get out or i will make you.” She snarled, hoping the force of her lunge had knocked some wind out of him.

Nightfur let out a hiss of fury at the rogue as he was knocked onto the ground, feeling the tom's weight on top of him. He snarled, "I may meet Soulclan today, but at least I know you foxdungs won't win."

OOC: Cassie, you can have him kill him. I'll have Emberheart burst in right after.

Crone bared his teeth and bit into the tom's neck, clenching his jaw and ripping away a chunk of his throat while his claws raked long cuts down the warrior's stomach. He spat out the chunk of flesh and, with crimson dripping from his mouth, leaned down to Nightfur's ear and purred, "Yes but you won't be alive to see when you're wrong."

IC: Nightfur managed to gurgle out a hiss in retort, though was unable to spat any words back as his body started to weaken.

Emberheart burst through the camp entrance, Nightfrost on her tail. They had heard about the attack only after a while into their hunt. Emberfrost's eyes scanned the clearing frantically, searching to see if any more rogues remained. At the sight of Nightfur under one, she let out a sharp yowl. "No!" She barreled into the rogue, trying to push him off of the older tom, her claws and jaw and reaching to grasp the rogue's belly or neck.

Lapu snarled back at her, narrowing his eyes. " Make me, kitty pet." He hissed. He wiggled as he spoke, jabbing his hind legs towards her belly at the end of his sentence.

Crone tumbled with Emberheart, baring his teeth and snarling at the she-cat. He shoved her off with his hind paws, leaping away and hissing at her. "He's already dead, pretty kitty," he snarled and darted off only to be met with Hollyblaze.

Emberheart resisted the urge to leap after him, knowing Hollyblaze would take care of him. With the sight of Nightfrost blocking the rogue from escaping the other she-cat's claws, Emberheart turned and raced to Nightfur's side. "No, no, no..." she whimpered as she pushed her nose against his limp and cold body. "Do not join Soulclan yet."

Darkfrost let out a low growl at Crone, keeping back and swiping at him to keep him from escaping Hollyblaze's attacks.

“I am no kittypet nor ever was, rogue filth.” She spat, baring her teeth as she grunted slightly from the kick. She then jumped at him again, aiming for his back and neck. So much was going on she couldn’t honestly tell if she hit him or not.

Cloverlily, with blood trickling from a gash in her shoulder, tried in vain to help Snowclaw. She gathered her small amount of strength left and launched herself at Lapu, aiming to claw at the soft spot around his eyes. All the yowls, the blood everywhere, just made her even more terrified. Her vision blurred, thinking back to earlier that day when she had met with Marshfeather. Dear SoulClan, I hope he’s okay, she thought, losing strength in herself and nearly falling off her position of pinning Lapu down.

Lapu flashed his eyes between the two, trying to slash at both. He tripped over himself as she pinned him down, and jerked his body upward in an attempt to free himself once again. He saw her stumble slightly, and hope flared in his eyes, struggling upward.

“Cloverlily! Don’t get yourself killed, i can handle this.” Snowclaw called to the she-cat, truthfully fearing for the she-cat’s safety and life over her own. She growled and scratched at Lapu, tryin to aim for his eyes to blind him.

Twilightkit wailed loudly, while Petalkit scrambled back into the nursery in a rush to reach her mother.

Foresthowl stood beside his mate, tail flicking and eyes gleaming with anger. "You chose the wrong Clan to attack, mange pelt," he snapped at Crone. "Leave! Or we will skin every last one of you."

Crone bared his teeth and launched himself at Foresthowl, snarling, "I bet your kits will make excellent crow food." He lashed his claws out, doubling over as Hollyblaze leaped onto his back and bit into his scruff.

Brindlestripe stood over her kits, ears back. Adrenaline was a cold fire in her blood and filled her with energy.
"Protect the kits!" She shouted, hearing Crone's remark.

Doespring bolted to the nursery, hearing the queen. She stopped next to Brindlestripe. She was determined to fight back any rogue that may try to attack.

Emberkit cowered under his mother. He pushed himself back into his siblings, covering his nose with his paw. He'd always thought he would be able to fight in a situation like that, but fear paralyzed him.

Ivykit was huddled alone in another corner of the nursery, a bit scared to move. She wanted to stay next to her sister, Kestrelkit, but thought if she moved that the rogue might grab her.

Kestrelkit npticed Ivykit wasn’t next to her, so, like any sibling would, she sprinted as fast as she could to her side. Normally, she wouldn’t be okay with this with any other cat, but it was her sister and when it came to her, it was more important than any other cat.

“Kestrelkit!” Ivykit almost yowled, purring as her sister practically jumped on her. “We need to stay together. I think Mom and Dad are on a patrol.” Ivykit murmered, shaking a little. Normally it was her who would always act tough and stick up for the both of them, but right now she was more terrified than anything.

“Ivykit calm down, and yes, they most likely are if they aren’t fighting. Stay next to me and youll be fine” She sighed, Kestrelkit pushed Ivykit off and let out a low growl, thinking that would do something, I don’t understand why our parents aren’t here. It was a quick thought, before realizing she just had to keep Ivykit safe.

Ivykit, after a few moments, snapped out of the trance she was in and let out a growl as well. “Sorry, i’ll do better.” She mewed and fluffed up her fur, trying to appear bigger. “Get out of here you mangy crowfood before we hurt you.” Ivykit yowled, her tiny claws unsheathed.

Crone whirled on the shecat, hooked claws raking across her sides. The queen fell back with a pained yowl, only to struggle to her paws again and leap back at him. "You want to die in front of your mate and kits? How sickeningly sweet," he snarled and slashed his claws through her fur.

Hollyblaze let out a hiss of agony and dug her claws into the rogue, trying to hold him off long enough for Foresthowl to jump in. If she died, she would accept the death of protecting her kits.

Hopekit watched from her heap on the medicine den floor, letting out a weak cry for her parents. She was huddled up next to Twilightkit, repeatedly glancing at him. Even if she had received the worst of it, she still worried.

Brindlestripe pushed her kits into the mossy nest, covering them with moss. She wouldn't let her clanmates die in front of her, and she leapt onto Crone and pushed him aside, stumbling from the impact.

Emberkit peered out from the moss, watching his mother stumble. He saw the other two kits, Ivykit and Krestelkit, and called them over. "Come here, hide!" His voice was high and tight with terror.

Doespring entered the nursery and froze. There was blood on the floor. Shaking away the shock, Doespring positioned herself between the rogue and the kits. She wasn't strong with offensive attacks, but could defend fairly well.

Kestrelkit looked at Ivykit, “Follow me.” And with that, she sprinted over to Emberkit. She could tell it wasn’t safe by the sound of terror in his voice, and she hoped it would be safer for her and Ivykit.

Emberkit shuffled over into his siblings' fur to make room for the two new kits. Fur bushed out, he managed a weak snarl, more of a squeak, and stared at Crone. The sight of the blood on Hollyblaze's fur made his head feel light. He fell limp, unconscious next to his sisters and brothers and friends.

Kestrelkit quickly glanced at Ivykit, “Keep your fur down! You look like a porcupine.” She lashed her tail in anger, trying not to yell, she quickly looked back to Emberkit, and held him up by the scruff, “We can’t take him to the medicine den now. I’ll hold him until the fighting is over.”

Brindlestripe hurried back to the kits. Noticing Emberkit, her heart skipped a beat. She noticed he was still breathing and relaxed, nodding thanks to Krestelkit.
She turned to Doespring. "I'll take Emberkit to the medicine den, you protect them." When Doespring agreed, Brindlestripe dipped her head, grasped Emberkit, and sprinted out of the den. The snow stuck to her pelt, some melting and chilling her. She arrived safely in the medicine den.
"Soraflight! Mudstreak! Emberkit's unconscious!"

Doespring bristled her fur, making her look bigger. The fighting in front of her was intense. She stood next to the nest, feeling scraps of moss under her paws.

Brindlestripe gently placed the kit on the ground. "I don't know. I was trying to help Hollyblaze and I came back and he was unconscious!" Her words were shaky with fear, fear for her kit. Taking a deep breath, she continued.
"Can you help him?"

Flurrypaw just woke up, at Brindlestripe's scream, her eye wide. She quickly got up and limped over, suddenly hearing yowls from outside of cats fighting. "What in SoulClan is going on?" she asked, breathing heavily.

Flurrypaw groaned, turning around and wincing before limping over to the herbs. "Uh, FrostClan doesn't have many cobwebs apparently." she wheezed, gently lifting one and limping back over to give it to Mudstreak.

Hopekit shrunk back against Twilightkit, her tortoiseshell pelt matted with drying blood. She glanced at Mudstreak and Flurrypaw, trembling violently with wide green eyes. Her tiny paws covered her muzzle and she whimpered, closing her eyes tightly. "I want momma and daddy!" She cried.

“Oh, in the name of SoulClan just get what you can!” Mudstreak exclaimed, messily plastering the cobweb to Emberkit, hoping an infection would not come(even though it would).

Ivyfeather grabbed Hopekit and Twilightkit by the scruffs, and carried them deeper into the den where she found oak leaves which she pressed against the kits to try to stop the blood while she searched for any scrap of herb.
