Shadeheart unsheathed his claws, hissing at the intruders. He was about to threateningly step forward, but someone barred his way.

Beechpaw shivered at Seashell's milky soft voice.
"I think we should leave," he chimed, nudging Mudpaw and Barkpaw.

Salmonpelt swerved here, carefully making sure he wasn't seen. He crawled under a bush, his tail wrapped in, and stayed completely still, watching the cats. He saw Seashell and nearly cried out to let her know he was there, but decided not to.

Shadeheart felt the sensation he was being watched but ignored it. He decided to sit down. Seashell wasn't going to let him out anyway.

Beechpaw sighed, turning to Aukletstorm.
"Can you carry some of my fish that I caught?" he asked politely, which was muffled by some trout and minnow that were stuffed in his own jaws as well.

Seashell snarled.
"Hey, don't ignore us! You can't fish in our river!" she meowed, dangerously close to stepping over the border.

Beechpaw turned to Seashell and cowered down, dropping a cod and pushing it backwards to Mudpaw and Barkpaw.
"W-we were... this is our territory, too!" he threatened, but failed, not knowing what to comeback with.

Flowerbelly rushed in with a frown. I feel a little worried. They are much bigger than us. she thought, beginning to slowly stretch and leapt at some swaying plants, practicing lashing out.

Seashell trotted close behind, stretching out her back as she sharpened her nails on the tree bark of a nearby oak tree.
"I think you should have chosen more people, Sandstar," she mewed, glancing around at the small number of cats in the clearing.

Cloverlily waded into the shallow part of the water and practiced some moves on a boulder, away from the rest of the raiding patrol. BrightClan is huge. I can't believe we're doing this. Why did I come? she thought with uncertainty. Maybe I can sneak off...

Marshfeather padded near the FrostClan group but still with his Clan, casting a few glances at Cloverlily.
Carrotspots padded near the frost of the group, fur bristling and ready to fight.
Rippleshade shouldered up close to Carrotspots, who nudged him away with annoyance.

Seashell trotted up to Carrotspots, heart pounding. It felt like a million bricks were weighing her down.
"I'm scared," she admitted in a quiet whisper.

Turtlesplash followed behind him, signaling for the rest of the cats to follow.
Marshfeather brushed past Cloverlily in a silent "good luck" and leapt into the waters.

Dapplestar reluctantly followed, shivering inwardly.

Rippleshade carefully stepped into the rippling waters, the current threatening to drag him downstream.
Carrotspots stayed at Seashell's side as she entered the water.

Sandstar pulled himself up on the opposite shoreline, almost immediately followed by Turtlesplash.
Dapplestar spat water out of her mouth as she clumsily swam to BrightClan's side.

Flowerbelly swiftly swam up behind Carrotspots and Seashell, occasionally bobbing below and then resurfacing again.

Seashell took a deep breath, then exhaled. You'll be fine, it's just battle, and... she didn't even know how to comfort herself.

Cloverlily clumsily waddled into the rushing current, sputtering out water every now and then.

Nightfoot flicked his ear and led the cats beside Sandstar and Dapplestar. I can't believe we're doing this.

Quickstep swam through the waters, feeling rather queasy at the idea of attacking. But I know the territory best, I'll be able to help my Clan. I can finally prove my worth.
Marshfeather hopped out of the water, shaking off his magnificent pelt.
Rippleshade pulled himself onto the shoreline, panting.
Dapplestar heaved herself out of the water and shook her pelt, trying to dry off.

Flowerbelly scrambled out of the water and rubbed onto the dry moorland grass, attempting to dry off quickly.

Seashell waded out elegantly, gulping. What about Snailnose? She'd be lost without me. she thought, trying to hold in tears as she shook out her fur to dry off.

Nightfoot abruptly turned around to lick his burning scars from past fights, that usually began to hurt when water touched them.

Cloverlily looked at Nightfoot's scars with pity. I hope he'll be okay! He was just appointed deputy! she thought, nudging him on.

Seashell sighed, flashing a weak, white grin to Carrotspots.
"Thanks," she mewed.

"Remember everyone, we're fighting for our honor, not our lives." she mewed, quietly but harshly, "Dpn't attack anyone you don't have to, and if you're severely wounded, don't be afraid to flee. We don't want any fatalities."
