WaterClan Swampy Forest

WaterClan's northern portion of the territory is home to their Swampy Forest, an aptly named area of land that contains their swamplands and leafbare hunting areas. Half of the area is watery forest but the other half is high and dry, leaving place for smaller land animals to nest. The forest is filled with birds who take the water prey.

Snailnose padded into the forest, Seashell at her side. The birds around them were singing and the wind drifted calmly overhead.

Seashell sat straight and watched the singing birds, the spooky feeling in her gut trickling away at the presence of Snailnose and the beautiful birds flapping around them.

"Let's try to catch one." Snailnose suggested, smirking. She tensed, waiting for a bird to get close enough for her to grab.

Seashell pricked her ears.
"Huh? Oh, okay." she meowed, a little disappointed.
She lashed out a claw halfheartedly, kind of just wanting to sit and down and talk with Snailnose for a bit.

IC: Snailnose braced herself, then jumped at a robin as it flew over her. She missed, tumbling onto Seashell. "Whoops!" she squeaked.

Seashell giggled and fell onto the muddy grass. For once, she didn't care that her pelt was completely dirty!

"Are you okay?" Snailnose mewed through her giggles, grinning like an idiot.

"Yes, I'm fine!" she purred, flicking the mud off of her ear.
Seashell, when Snailnose watched the robin go, slammed her paw onto Snailnose's and dragged her down into the mud with her with a jokingly sly snicker.

"You slippery little-" Snailnose laughed, splashing mud onto Seashell's face.

Seashell gasped, scooping up a huge pile in her adnormally large left paw and throwing it at Snailnose's chest. She stuck out her tongue and began to scramble away.

Snailnose tackled her, laughing hysterically, covering completely in mud.

"Beetle-brain!" she howled jokingly, wriggling out of her grip and reaching a small pond.
She scooped her paw in and tossed the water at Snailnose's face.

Seashell giggled as the mud from her white fur dissolved into the pond, giving her body a glimmer. She let out a soft, fake growl and leaped at Snailnose, bowling her over and tumbling onto the wet grass.

Seashell pricked her ears, pretending to hear something. When Snailnose was caught off-guard, she scooped up a leaf and batted it into the air. She tackled Snailnose and fell on her back, weighing her down.

Seashell's throat was tight with such emotion. She began to tremble, putting her paws on Snailnose's and reaching up to give her forehead a lick.
"I like you too," she let out a mrrow of happiness.

Snailnose brushed against Seashell's pelt, purring with content and affection. "Maybe we should get back to camp, I think the gathering is tonight." she muttered gently.

Flowerbelly ignored her brother and watched the sea's gentle waves. She bounded after a crab and ended up splashing into the aqua ocean with the crab limp in her jaws. She giggled and tugged Salmonpelt's tail, pulling him back and pushing him into the water.

Flowerbelly grumbled with amusement and plugged her nose, taking a deep breath and disappearing underwater. She appeared after a few heartbeats nearly a mile away.
"Come on, let's swim!" she called to her patrolmates.

ic. " hey!" riverpaw laughed. He dived at windpaw, grabbing her by the neck softly, and pulling her in. He giggled then swam out after the warriors, trying to get away from windpaw before she could get her revenge.

IC: Windpaw swam up, easily swimming quickly after Riverpaw. When she got slightly behind, she dived under, swimming below Riverpaw, and popped up in front of her.

Flowerbelly swam back to shore swiftly, jumping onto a stone and sliding on some leaves.
"I feel so excited and hyper!" she giggled and leaped onto one of the highest boulders and splashed into the water, nearly engulfing Wingpaw.

"Race ya!" she challenged, already bolting towards camp with a small minnow in her jaws swinging to and fro.
