BrightClan Eastern Moorlands

BrightClan's moorlands take up most of their territory, a range of rolling, tussock hills with plenty of small bushes and trees. Most of these shelter herbs underneath them, and the soil is nourishing from the volcanic eruptions of old.
The eastern part of the moorlands is higher and a little drier than the lower sea-blasted area, with taller hills able to shelter the camp.
Most of the prey found here are rabbits and hares, with hawks on the lookout almost all the time, and the occasional lost squirrel or mouse from FireClan's forests nearer to the borders.

Dovefeather walked out onto the moor and breathed in. " Its good to be out of camp!" She meowed cheerfully as she looked around

Skyheart sniffed the air for any signs of prey.

Dovefeather scanned the air for hawks. She relaxed as she didn't see any. " No hawks, that's good!" She meowed.

Skyheart sniffed around a bit more and caught a faint smell of a rabbit. Skyheart tried to find where it was coming from and saw a scrawny rabbit near the bushes. Skyheart stalked the rabbit and pounced on it and killing it.

" I know but I still can do better" Skyheart mewed as she set off to find prey again.

Whitefeather saw a fat rabbit eating something and carefully stalked it. Whitefeather finally got cose enough to pounce and kill it neatly.

Dovefeather jumped as a large shadow past over her. She looked up and saw a hawk circling them. " Guys!! that hawk is circling us, is that a bad thing??" she meowed

" oh no oh no oh no!" Whitefeather mewed frantically as she saw the hawk

" OF COURSE ITS BAD LETS GET OUT OF HERE!!" Skyheart yowled

dovefeather nodded. " good idea now, RUN!!" she yowled as the hawk dived in heading for her. she ran as quickly as she could, towards camp.

dovefeather yowled in fear as she tripped and fell face first onto the ground. she tried to get up, but her foot was stuck in a hole. " help!! help!! my foot is stuck!!" she yowled

Whitefeather nodded and found some protection under a tree to watch

dovefeather franticly tried to pull her paw out, but had no success. that hawk is going to come down at any moment and kill me!! she thought as she started to panic.

dovefeaher pressed on the ground with her good paw tohelp skyheart , she also pulled at her stuck paw. " its starting to come out!!" she meowed as she felt it loosen.

dovefeather whimpered as she heard something pop in her shoulder. that doesn't sound good.. she thought as she tried to kick out with her hind paws to help skyheart in some way.

dovefeather's paw came out of the hole, she rolled backwards before jumping up. " I'm out!! I'm not stuck anymore!!!" she meowed happily.

" I did?" Skyheart asked and looked at the hawk. " I DID!!!" She mewed again. " I REALLY KILLED A HAWK!" She mewed again

Sandheart pushed her muscles further, pulling ahead. But then she felt skin tear. Her neck wound had opened! She slammed her paws down into the ground, dust swirling into her eyes. Her paws skidded and burned until she finally stopped. She hunched her shoulders, drool dripping from her jaws, and her breath panting and rasping.

Tigerspot raced back, with Dovefeather hot on her heels holding a couple of cobwebs in her mouth.

Dovefeather quickly laid the cobwebs down. "You're okay." she soothed. "Just might hurt a bit." She chewed up the small amount of goldenrod she had with her, and laid the poltuce on the neck wound.

Dovefeather quickly placed cobwebs on her face, flank, ear and tail. "That's the last of the cobwebs. That should do for now, since I have no more herbs here." she mewed.
