Ottercreek frowned towards his clan-mates, he wasn't gagging at all, he had already gotten used to the smell.

Lostblaze continued digging, his paws covered in foul smelling mud. He doubled his efforts when he saw the good sized pile behind him.

A hissing noise came from the water. The alligator crawled towards the digging cats, a gurgling sound from its throat.

Lostblaze whirled and growled at the alligator, bristling. His tail lashed and he stepped back into the nest, stepping on the eggs.

Rubblewind padded inside the warriors den, partially holding his breath to stop the stench sitting inside his lungs. He pulled out the old moss, along with the wet seaweed and bits of twig, grass, and leaves that had managed to somehow wedge themselves into the den. "Can someone help me?" he called, his nose crinkling.

Lostblaze yowled in pain when his tail and leg were bitten. He clawed at the alligator's eyes and leapt away, blood mixing with his ginger pelt.

Ottercreek quickly leaped onto the alligator, risking his life for his clan-mates and tried biting into the skin above the eye.

The alligator kept its grip on the tom's leg, not allowing him to leave, and began to drag him back into the river.

Rubblewind heard the commotion and yowled loudly, trying to distract the creature by leaping up on its back, barely missing the slashing feet claws.

Lostblaze yowled loudly and raked his claws across the alligator's snout. He bit down on it and allowed the claws of his injured paw to scratch about the inside of the monster's mouth.

IC: The alligator hissed, opening its mouth slightly and backing away.
Turtlesplash puffed out her tail and approached the beast.

Lostblaze limped away quickly and collapsed onto the shore, leg bleeding profusely.

The alligator clamped down again, hitting cat flesh and snorting, dragging itself back into the water to eat in peace.

Lostblaze's eyes widened and he grunted as he struggled to his paws. He tried to go after the alligator, but collapsed once again.

IC: Turtlesplash howled and dived after the alligator, scrambling as it sunk beneath the surface. "NO! OTTERCREEK!" she screamed, panting.

The gator twisted its head to drown the animal.

Lostblaze sobbed and tried to go after it once again. He yowled when he fell, his breathing ragged.

Ottercreek let out a yowl to tell them to get out of here before the water rushed over his face. He held his breath but the water started turning red with his blood. Eventually the last breath he had bubbled towards the surface and his eyes blacked out as he gave in to death.

Lostblaze dug his claws into the mud as he growled low in his throat. He looked towards Turtlesplash and flattened his ears. Oh SoulClan, if Snowlily sees me like this! She'll be so worried! He winced at the thought of worrying the pretty shecat.

Lostblaze nodded his agreement solemnly and struggled to get up, leaning against a boulder to keep himself standing. With dull eyes, he limped forward.

Turtlesplash gave a yowl of distress, too scared to dive into the water after the way Ottercreek was torn to pieces in a moment. She turned to Sandstar, eyes wide with horror.

IC: Sandstar dipped his head in sorrow. "We have lost an honorable member of the clan. We should head Back to mourn him." He said.

IC: Can I say he lost a life to the alligator?

Turtlesplash stared at it, heart dropping. The leg was twisted at an odd angle, blood pouring from it and bare flesh exposed at the hip. "I-I believe you can make it. Come one." she pleaded.

Nightfoot groaned, laying by the egg nest. His left hind leg was pouring blood, and fur dangled off his tail. He winced trying to get up. "Stop arguing, you fish-brains! You have another deputy, you know." he snarled, trying to drag himself along.

Nightfoot nodded, managing to lift himself to his paws but immediately falling onto Sandstar's shoulder. "Wait, where's Ottercreek?" he meowed, suddenly realizing that the young warrior was nowhere to be found.

Bearpaw slunk into camp ahead of Willowpaw, unsheathing his claws as he looked around, tensed up.

Cherrypaw flicked her tail nervously. Willowpaw is going to get us all killed.

Quartzpaw leaped up on top of the large pile of rocks, surveying the area from high ground even though her pelt was now soaked and slightly slimy from the alga covering the stones. "It looks clear!" she called, another clap of thunder echoing around the clearing.

Bearpaw could only roll his eyes. This whole situation was hilariously stupid to him, and he couldn't believe Cherrypaw had dragged him into it.
